"We stayed here on the way home from Myrtle Beach. Definitely underestimated the restaurant! The food is amazing taste like a piece of Italy. The Aubergines Parmesan was excellent, so my men were lasagna. Very recommended to try the Calamari delish garlic knot!!! Very recommended this restaurant!!!! "One of my favorite activities, when I'm not working, is riding my motorcycle and exploring different places to eat. Along the way, I’ve discovered some *special* dining spots. *The Boat House* in Wildwood has become a must-stop destination on my rides and a fun goal whenever I travel through the state. I always have a great meal there, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, no matter how I look or what *shirt* I’m wearing! The bartenders are skilled at what they do, ensuring you get good value for your money. However, I have to mention that one standout item on my list, whenever I manage to stop by, is the BUCKET*... "The dining experience was disappointing from the beginning. We were seated in what appeared to be a waiting room connected to the restaurant, with couches and another table nearby. It took a long time to get our drinks, and we were asked for our food order even before receiving our drinks, twice. The food was average at best, with the homemade seafood cake being deep fried and served on breaded, previously frozen hockey pucks, which was not mentioned on the menu. However, the tiramisu cake and the bottle of wine I ordered were the highlights of the meal. The restaurant seemed to have a limited wine selection, and the overall experience was not pleasant. Despite the good-looking steak at the table next to us, we will not be returning."

"Now smaller portions of equal costs. I'll never eat here again. I've eaten twice here. One of these times I became extremely sick. It wasn't just a normal mistake. Something was done. Because they kept making my order wrong and it went back to the kitchen three times, someone got mad at me or mad that I was in the facility. The same thing happened before, but I didn't get sick, just a very bad stomach pain. This time it was!!"

"my daughter and I had a terrible evening meal. there was no ice-cream, no wobble rings and no Worchestershire sauce. we have starved, so we have ordered anyway. the delmonico steak was so tuff we couldn't eat it, but we ate some of the kartoffels. the crab dive was very good. "I always enjoy visiting Cook's restaurant. My family lives nearby in Linwood, so we like to drive down and meet them for dinner here. I especially love the BBQ at Cook's, but my favorite is the beef brisket. The first time I dined here was during a business trip to Lexington. I ordered a coarse chopped BBQ plate for lunch, and as I was finishing, a lady came out and offered me a sample of their beef brisket. I was instantly hooked. It's always a tough choice between the beef and pork, sometimes I indulge in both. Though it may be a bit out of the way, tucked away down a dead end road in the woods, I believe it's well worth the journey."

"many years ago we went to this restaurant when it belonged to different people. it was great then. we went on Wednesday, 3/19/14 and it was horrible! the place is dingy and dirty and smells just old and unkempt. the young behind the theke are shady and unprofessional. no smiling, no thanks, no hello, nothing! the food we brought home was very small portions. we ordered an antipasto salad, garlic bread and baked mostaccoli and the bill came to $23. It wasn't worth $23. the food was bland and the cheese on the pasta was hard. I will never return to this place again. next time I do it myself or go to vince."

You either call and place your order in advance (recommended) or in principle you can just show up and wait in your car/next door gas station or in their outside seating area until your order is ready. Maryland Crab Soup Cream of Crab Soup Crab Cake Platter Broiled Scallop Platter It 's pretty hard to bang on anything here. I mean sure I could nitpick over a few technical flaws like the size of the crab cakes being a bit on the small side or the consistency of the corn bread being very sticky but overall, the food is excellent in terms of the quality and in the preparation. The pricing here is definitely on the steep side but, it 's also very, very good. No brainer next time we 're back in the OCMD area."

"When the food finally arrived, I was surprised to find only five small shrimp on my plate, despite the menu stating that they would be large shrimp. The steaks were undercooked, and when the waitress took them back, they returned overcooked. The manager offered to take the steaks off our bill, but since they brought back the steaks separately, the kids ended up eating the rest and we still had to pay $14 per plate for those five tiny shrimp. In the end, we spent $57.25, and the kids left hungry and tired, and had to go find something to eat on the boardwalk."

"This restaurant may not have an impressive exterior, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere inside. I ordered the seafood paella, which was not only delicious but also large enough to share between two people. The stuffed dates for the appetizers were exceptional and I highly recommend trying them. "My wife and I celebrated our 33 year dating 30 year wedding anniversary at Simko's. I had clams on the half shell for an appetizer and my entree was the blackened tuna over Faro Rice Special. My wife's entrée was the Baby Back Ribs. For desert we enjoyed the chocolate Moose cake. Both of our meals were fabulous. Simkos entrée pricing is a great value as the their food is 5 star quality at very reasonable pricing. Service was excellent. Our server Barbara Burke took our orders accurately and quickly. Donna , our maître'd also made sure that my wife got her favorite chardonnay wine with dinner. i enjoyed the hpuse Merlot as suggested by Barbara and was very happy with her recommendation. The interior layout is very family friendly with plenty of room and the decor is very warm and inviting. Outside the restaurant, the evening sunset views are also very nice and compliments any romantic outing (date or anniversary). We walked around the pier after dinner just to reminisce about our first date 33 years ago. Simko's also has a very large bar area , so if you have to wait for your table , you can wait at the bar and have your favorite drink until you are seated. Parking is on site with plenty of space, but during the peak summer season months, plan to arrive earlier than your seating time in order to ensure a parking spot. We very much look forward to dining again at Simko's over the rest of the season!"
