"I need to preface all of this by saying we did arrive later than expected for our reserved time frame but the experience we had was not justified just because we arrived late. The woman at the front counter was very rude to most of our party. We were celebrating a birthday and had about 10 guests total. When we asked about starting a second lane, the system for purchasing a lane versus using a lane was unclear and when asking for clarification the staff was rude and forceful. When we decided against purchasing another lane because it was not beneficial for only 2 people to be playing on a whole other lane, the staff acted like we were not allowed to sit with our friends’ birthday party and socialize unless also bowling. Then the wait staff/bar server was rude as well. They acted put out by every order and like we were an inconvenience to even ask for drinks or food. The food was overpriced and lack luster for what it is. The only reasonable staff in the building was the bartenders themselves but if you have a lane it feels they prefer you to order from the server rather than coming to the bar. When we decided to forgo another round of bowling to check out the upstairs arcade, I ordered another drink. As I received my drink the waiter rudely told me to make sure to remember to pay my tab when I finished at the upstairs arcade.Overall I would rather go to a dive bar style bowling alley than here again because it’s very overpriced and the staff acts as if they can’t be bothered to even have customers. Who knows maybe it’s just the Monday staff but I was very unimpressed."

"Kickback Jack's is an excellent spot to relax after a long day or enjoy a delicious meal with family. It embodies the essence of a sports bar and grill. We found out about Kickback Jack's because my sister discovered they host DJ Bingo every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 PM. We arrived around 6:30 PM, and the place was not very crowded. After picking our table, we waited for our cousin, whom I hadn't seen in a few years. While we waited, we ordered some appetizers: fried pickles and spinach artichoke dip. My sister struggled to order her drinks because they were out of several alcohol options. Nevertheless, Shawn, the DJ, came around to distribute bingo cards. The game consists of four rounds, and you have to recognize the songs he plays. We managed to identify the tracks, which added to the fun and made me momentarily forget the reason I was back home on assignment. As we played bingo, we also ordered dinner. My sister and I shared the seafood platter, which included fried shrimp, catfish, and French fries, accompanied by broccoli. Our cousin opted for baked wings. I must say, the food was outstanding—perfectly seasoned. I didn't need to add salt or pepper to my fish. The restaurant's chef even came out to chat with Shawn, the DJ. We tried to get his attention to compliment the food, but he was engrossed in conversation. I hope the owner conveys this review to him. I'll definitely be returning, solely because the food was so excellent. Latonia won a $10 gift card in the last round—at least someone from our group came away a winner. Well done, cousin! Perhaps I’ll see you there next time!"

"I have been a fan of kickback jacks for about 8 years now, since moving to Greensboro. I used to frequent the battleground location until the highwoods blvd location opened. We come about once a month (my husband comes every week but hadn’t been as a family in several months. We came in a couple weekends ago to celebrate a graduation for my nephew. We were a party of 16.our server, a younger blonde girl named Emily, completely ruined the entire experience for us. She was inattentive, unwelcoming, and seemed like she truly did not enjoy her job. she Rolled her eyes every time we asked for a refill on our drinks, or asked for anything extra like sauces (which we are aware we have to pay for . And she never smiled nor one time! It seemed like we were interrupting her own dinner experience that she was having with her coworkers (who equally seemed bothered by any customer’s request . Terrible service and completely opposite from the wonderful server we used to have last year named Sue. Where did she go by the way? My kids were looking forward to having her as our server as she always made the experience ten times better than we expected. We asked the hostess to be seated in Sue’s section but they said they couldn’t tell us anything about her except she no longer worked there. That is unfortunate because Sue could teach these new servers a thing or two about customer service. So sad how this place has gone down hill in only 8 months. Is someone new doing the hiring of the servers?? The quality of service and severs has definitely gone down. Perhaps someone different should be interviewing the servers for this location. My next step will be calling the corporate office to let them know about the quality of the servers they have. I will say the food is outstanding. The firecracker shrimp, Philly egg rolls, cranberry turkey flatbread, dry rub wings and spinach artichoke dip did not disappoint. Kudos to the kitchen staff because that is the only reason we stayed. We won’t be back until corporate office can reassure us that the quality of service and servers will go back to how it was last year. Maybe we will order take out if my kids insist but as stated before, Emily completely ruined it for us as well as the other servers who were chomping on their food and on their phones taking selfies while walking around the restaurant and approaching tables. (I think their manager (a 30 something ethnic woman was sitting with them enjoying her dinner and on her phone as well while the restaurant was very busy! We are very let down. Get it together Mr. Kickback Jack!"

"No! Just no! I?m from Charlotte NC and I was traveling to Duke hospital for my sons surgery. We were hungry and decided to google restaurants in the area. We choose this one bc of the photos and wide range of food Options. Figured, why not!? We wentin, greeted and sat down. Our waitress was super sweet but when the food arrived, the broccoli in mine was molded, the broccoliin my friends plate was raw and molded. When making the manager, Kate/Katie, aware, she said she saw them cutting fresh broccoliand would take care of it. Ok! Fast forward We ordered for our children and when getting to the hotel?.. sides was missing fromkids meal, the chicken sandwich was soggy and rubbery, the firecracker shrimp was just fried shrimp. Highly disappointed. Icalled the store and Kate/Katie said she would take care of it. Came BACK and the hostess AND waitress were sitting at the tablechit chatting. They saw me, I saw them. I even waved. I waited at the front a few more mins with no acknowledgement then calledINSIDE THE STORE from the front counter. The manager answered and asked me to come to back counter where they had prepared mymissing food and gave me a refund for the chicken sandwich. She asked why I called inside the store and I informed her of thecustomer service her staff gave me , which was horrible. She just looked at the table of the group and said, I?ll take care ofit. Well Kate/Katie, YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY TAKE CARE OF IT INSTEAD OF SAYING YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF IT AND DO NOTHING! This was aHORRIBLE experience for me! My food was NOT refunded, as said. I disputed transaction! I wouldn?t recommend this place at all!Unless you want Kate/Katie to take care of it! Save yourself the trouble"
