"The hostess and servers at this restaurant seemed to lack enthusiasm for their jobs. Every interaction we had with the four young women who attended to us from the moment we arrived to when we left was marked by disinterest and a gloomy demeanor. Their body language and words conveyed a sense of sadness. It made me wonder if they had issues with their boss, had been treated poorly by someone, or simply didn’t enjoy dealing with customers. It felt too consistent to be just a bad day for them, since all four exhibited the same attitude. They made us feel like an inconvenience, and there certainly wasn’t any memorable experience during our visit. However, I must commend the young man who brought our appetizer; he was a delight. It’s clear that whatever was happening in the front of the house was not positively affecting the female staff that evening."

We sat outdoors and were comfortable in January. It is an outdoor mall space with live music nearby. Very pleasant.

Overall good reservation. Table was ready and service good. Had a little trouble getting the Cardinals game on but we got it. Food was spot on.

The food was excellent, and the service was even more impressive. In a time when finding good service can be a challenge, the staff here truly stood out! View menu

Our server, Mikenna, was tremendous. She was prompt, provided great recommendations, checked back with us as needed and very friendly and congenial. Definitely a plus to your team and a superb individual.

we have selected the thirsty lion for its location on the route (for us to the airport. it has great eating, with beautiful salads and superior fishing and chips (after my man. but I just wish there was a part of the restaurant where you could concentrate more on eating and less on the bar atmosphere. but I expect a return.

This was our first time dining here, and our server did a fantastic job attending to our table and fulfilling our needs. The food was enjoyable; however, the fries could have been a bit crispier, but that's the only complaint I have about the meal. The atmosphere was lovely, though it might be considered a bit loud for some. View menu

I ordered avocado toast with 1 poached. I got avocado toast 1/2 the order (2 pieces were burnt) TWO poached eggs. They offered to bring more which I accepted. Then it was avocado bread as bread wasn’t toasted. I was hungry so ate it. We were drinking water iced tea. Waiter wasn’t attentive on beverage service yet I still tipped 20%. Why I did not sure. I drove from Phoenix to Mesa…won’t be back.

Everything was was great. Good value, speedy service, nice selection, good attentiveness. The only weird thing is they have a lot of high top tables with no backs to the seats…just bar stools. Open Table gives you a choice when you make a reservation: high table, regular, outside. I chose regular and they had us at a high table. I had to stop the hostess halfway to our table but she didn’t mind switching us. Just not sure how our request didn’t get initially honored especially since it was an Open Table option.
