"Larger restaurant with full parking lot. Clean, newer restaurant with plenty of movable seating for large parties. We sat outside in a enclosed patio. We had to ask that shades had to be lowered because of sun reflection. Wait staff was attentive andnice. Orders were taken quickly. There was a fly problem despite ceiling fans. I ordered fish tacos that were in their specialtysection of their menu. Food arrived in good time. The fish was not crispy and there was little choke taste. There was a sweettaste that was unexpected which was disappointing in the salad mix on the taco. The side of black beans was very good. Pricesare a bit high for the food. Music was loud."

"I received a call from Tom George informing me that they would only be serving dinner, not brunch, during the summer months. The hostess kindly rescheduled my reservation for dinner and even offered a round of drinks for the inconvenience. However, when I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day with my family, the restaurant was unexpectedly closed. I was disappointed and surprised by this turn of events. The restaurant did not reach out to explain the situation, and as a result, I have decided not to dine there in the future. Instead, my family enjoyed a lovely dinner at LA Chapter in the Ace Hotel, where I have had positive experiences in the past. This was a unique and frustrating situation, as I have never encountered such a mix-up through OpenTable or any other restaurant booking platform before."

"We love Thirsty Lion. I think they were having an off evening. I almost always order the king poa chicken, and it’s so yummy. Tonight my chicken was dried out, overcooked and hard. The seasonal pad Thai my guy ordered was pretty good. They comped my dish and the manager apologized and said the quality food they have been receiving is not the same. I understand and we will be back just a little disappointed."

"I need to preface all of this by saying we did arrive later than expected for our reserved time frame but the experience we had was not justified just because we arrived late. The woman at the front counter was very rude to most of our party. We were celebrating a birthday and had about 10 guests total. When we asked about starting a second lane, the system for purchasing a lane versus using a lane was unclear and when asking for clarification the staff was rude and forceful. When we decided against purchasing another lane because it was not beneficial for only 2 people to be playing on a whole other lane, the staff acted like we were not allowed to sit with our friends’ birthday party and socialize unless also bowling. Then the wait staff/bar server was rude as well. They acted put out by every order and like we were an inconvenience to even ask for drinks or food. The food was overpriced and lack luster for what it is. The only reasonable staff in the building was the bartenders themselves but if you have a lane it feels they prefer you to order from the server rather than coming to the bar.When we decided to forgo another round of bowling to check out the upstairs arcade, I ordered another drink. As I received my drink the waiter rudely told me to make sure to remember to pay my tab when I finished at the upstairs arcade.Overall I would rather go to a dive bar style bowling alley than here again because it’s very overpriced and the staff acts as if they can’t be bothered to even have customers. Who knows maybe it’s just the Monday staff but I was very unimpressed."

"The hostesses were nice and welcoming, but our waitress was not friendly at all. Plus, she would check on everyone else, but everytime we needed something we had to flag her down. Never smiled once either. Honestly don 't even know why I tipped her. She was garbage. Oh btw they also charge some bogus 3% employee retention and recruitment fee you can request it to be taken off, but it 's still bogus. It doesn 't go to the wait staff either--I asked--so now the owners want you to pay for employee retention too? Laughable"

"My husband and I decided to have an impromptu dinner at this restaurant, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience right from the beginning, thanks to Angel (they/them). Angel was incredibly engaging, fun, knowledgeable, and helpful, which really transformed what could have been a quick bite into a delightful outing. I was also excited to meet someone else who identifies as they/them in such a natural way. Angel noticed my they/them hat, and our conversation was truly uplifting in terms of gender identity. Although I'm open about being genderqueer, I often find myself getting misgendered, even when I try to make it clear."

"The second visit was with my six-year-old daughter, who is quite the foodie herself. She left the restaurant raving about the experience! Now, she refers to it as "the place to eat," and she's even asked to return with me, which says a lot about how much she enjoyed it! If you're looking for a spot to unwind and enjoy great drinks, this is the place for you. Just a note: it's not ideal for a quick lunch unless you let them know you're on a time constraint; I'm sure they'll do their best to accommodate you!"

"Visited: Thursday 10/23/08 (Dinner) This is what Alicks has to say, although we were there: Why didn't I know about such places when I lived in California? The “Camp” is known to be a number of shops (via the anti-mall), which is very environmentally friendly. This restaurant is covered by a white tent, right opposite a very cool vegan shoe shop. What was my Native Foods experience? Two words: Mad Cowboy. They were not a gluten-free restaurant in any way and it seems almost all the gluten in it. Since my stomach wasn't so great, I just ordered what sounded good for me. That was actually his favorite restaurant on the whole trip and that says a lot. I hope we get a chance to go back sometime."

"My husband and I were passing through Palm Springs on a road trip. We were unfamiliar with the area, but found Native Foods on this website (Happy Cow). We called for directions and the person we spoke to was very friendly and helpful with directions. Turned out he was the kitchen manager. When we got there, masks were required and you could only order to-go or dine outdoors at one of their outdoor tables. We were very happy to see that they were taking Covid precautions very seriously. The manager who took our order was also very friendly and helpful. The food was promptly served and delicious!! I had the Crazy Good Chicken combo with sweet potato seasoned fries and my husband had the Brisket burger combo with fries. We were both very happy with our meals. Note to fellow Vegans: Don’t let the window painting that says “Best vegetarian restaurant in the world” worry you. This restaurant, as explained by the manager is fully vegan. It’s the very first Native Foods location and started in1994 when very few people knew what vegan was. I definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Had lunch with a friend Friday, Jan Was surprised how busy it was considering the date. It gets pretty loud when busy which makes conversation difficult. Nevertheless the service was efficient and not overbearing. I had the spaghetti squash with vegetables and tomato sauce and my friend had the fish and chips. Both dishes were delicious! I like the wide variety of the menu one can always find something to enjoy and prices are reasonable."

"Finally went after wanting to try them for so long( unfortunately closing July 1)... But anyhow I ordered a Plant based chicken, bacon avocado sandwich with seasoned fries!!! Deliciousness overload!!! Seasoned very well...Staff was sitting outside BUT became very attentive &courteous upon my arrival, her name was Shana, like me...she let me know what items were unavailable, I was slightly heartbroken because I really wanted to try the cauliflower wings lol.. But the sandwich made up for it! If they weren't closing permanently I would've definitely go again!!!"

"I searched far and wide for the perfect steak sandwich but found it right here at Rock Brews in Oviedo. This sandwich was exactly what I needed to make my Saturday special! The vibrant atmosphere and welcoming service were wonderful extras. I'll definitely be coming back because Rock Brews offers true comfort food for the soul. Our server Adrianna was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Our meal arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. After being away for three weeks, I wanted to check if the quality stayed the same, especially during busy times. Our waitress Jacqueline delivered the same excellent food and outstanding service, confirming that Rock Brews is a place I’ll continue to visit for great dishes in an energetic setting."

"The atmosphere here is really impressive, featuring a fantastic rock and roll theme and a nice patio complete with couches. The service is reliable and the food is decent. It's what you'd expect from typical bar food—nothing remarkable, but certainly not bad. The nachos, in particular, are outstanding. If I found myself delayed for a flight, I would choose to stay here instead of heading to the airport since it's conveniently nearby. A tip: steer clear of the gas stations that are closest to this restaurant; they tend to be overpriced! There's a Wawa (I believe it's a Wawa) that's closer to the airport and offers much better prices."

"This is a solid restaurant bar and grill!! After bad service at another local bar and grill and not being greeted the entire time I sat down. This was a refreshing experience! First off this place was jam packed, so they were def busy. As soon as I sat down I was greeted by two bartenders and then order taken before I even pulled my phone out. That’s rock solid service when sitting at the bar guys and girl and whatever you call yourselves!! What more needs to be said really five stars because you being busy should never be a burden on the patron. Your staffing decisions and choices to overbook and over seat should never impact a customer ready to drink a beer or have a snack/meal."
