"Larger restaurant with full parking lot. Clean, newer restaurant with plenty of movable seating for large parties. We sat outside in a enclosed patio. We had to ask that shades had to be lowered because of sun reflection. Wait staff was attentive andnice. Orders were taken quickly. There was a fly problem despite ceiling fans. I ordered fish tacos that were in their specialtysection of their menu. Food arrived in good time. The fish was not crispy and there was little choke taste. There was a sweettaste that was unexpected which was disappointing in the salad mix on the taco. The side of black beans was very good. Pricesare a bit high for the food. Music was loud."

we had a great server, but the service was overall soou slow. it took almost 2 hours for a simple dinner that we thought would be 1 to 1.25 hours. we could not have been going to dinner here.

It is a great restaurant and pub. Staffs were really friendly and welcoming. They do have a lot of varieties of food and drinks. But in rushour it might be bit crowded and loud. But except that everything was great. View menu

As always wonderful food and service! I am sorry to hear Jamie is leaving. I am not sure about some of the changes you are making. They are not going to affect the quality of food, but in business many times it is the little things that make a business special. Always look at the long term effects of change. Jim

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the inside of the restaurant is. They also have outdoor seating which is wonderful during summer. Food was delicious and prices were decent. They have a great looking bar area but we didn’t order alcohol, wewere in a motorcycle with a very long drive ahead of us, so coffee instead.

eating was decent, but the service wasn't great. he had to show our server several times, he forgot the articles for us, and we even ended with breaking off one of our articles because we were all done to eat when he checked again for us. overall felt quite ignored and even when he came to our table, keeping was not very warm, almost felt as if we were disturbing for even there. I was expecting a standard drinking establishment with bar food but this place blew my expectations out of the water. The menu had a lot of fun and unique items and our dinner was so tasty. The happy hour specials were fantastic and the menu has a lot ofgreat items. We didn’t get anything to drink but our service did not suffer one bit. Great place to eat, and hope to comeback on our next trip!

A very trendy and happening place, serves comfort food and good beer options, decent portion Size but pricey for a local gastropub. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was full to capacity when we visited on a Sundayevening. Their poke salad was delicious but I wish they would give me more fish for the price of the dish. The French dip waspretty good. So was the fish ????.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
