"Hands down, this was the most expensive meal I have ever eaten, and as such, I expected it to be the best, most delicious meal. Unfortunately, for me, it was a big meh. The restaurant itself was very nice, lots of wood and windows, but I likedit. Our server was good, but seemed a little flustered with something that was going on behind the scenes. He was helpfulwith the menu and offered suggestions and gave details about any items we are curious about. We ordered lobster bisque as astarter and were brought a service of bread, which was very good. At that point we ordered the entrees and sides. I orderedthe 32 oz beef rib and fried brussels sprouts. The soup was then served, it had a very tiny bit of lobster and cream then thesoup was poured into the bowl. A little pretentious for me, but I suppose part of the price is the experience. The soup wasgood, but was extra fishy tasting, and I love fish, I think it was just getting old since we were in pretty late. Then theentrees were served, the rib looked great, and the side of sprouts was quite large, probably enough for two and was served ina side dish family style . The rib was also served with small a side of potatoes and brussels sprouts. The rib was ok, I 'vemade much better beef ribs at home, the brussels sprouts were delicious. For dessert we had a peanut butter bar and I had achocolate espresso martini. Both were fine. Overall, the food was good, but for about $150 per person, including tip, it justwasn 't exceptional, and for that amount, I want to be blown away."
