"I've always enjoyed this restaurant, but I don't eat pasta, so we stopped going 15 years ago. My friend wanted to go for her birthday with everyone (12). She was able to get a reservation, which really helped. I remember waiting a long time for a table when we used to come. The service was great and the drink were strong. Always makes for a great time! We ordered the fried calamari and I was told it wasn't hot and a little hard. They have a gluten free section on the menu, which was perfect for me. I ordered the salmon with spinach and it was delicious. It did take a long time to get it and I was starving. My table mates didn't all arrive at the same time and order at the same time, so that could be the reason for the delay. There was a mistake with the credit card charges at the end, but they fixed it immediately. I would go back again, just for the salmon."

"It's close to Christmas and the restaurant was full. Yet we received personal attention from our server. The kitchen was a little slow due to all the other patrons, but the wait was not excessive. Our food came and was excellent, as usual. I had the minestrone and my buddy had the pasta e' fagoli. For a main course, I had one of the house specialities grilled shrimp over mushroom risotto. This dish is one of the best that Della Cucina offers. Sometimes it's truffle oil instead of mushroom equally good. For dessert we had chocolate gelato (3 medium scoops) and I had a decaf cappuccino they use Lavazza coffee and it always comes out just right. For exceptional food at a local restaurant, Della Cucina shines."

"By far the best Italian place Ive ever been to, our servers name started with an m, i think it was marco was so sweet and kind and very welcoming. Me and my friends are already thinking about going back. We got the mozzarella bites, baked penne, rigatoni alla vodka and chocolate cake. Which I recommend all of it. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was amazing and everything about the experience was one of the best dining experiences ive had."

"We have been here many times before The portion sizes have drastically changed Spaghetti with clam sauce is a white creamy sauce with only frozen whole clams. There is a lot of clams, but very little meat lots of empty shells the veal piccata also had a very creamy sauce, the small order of spaghetti that came with it had that same creamy sauce all over it Horrible presentation of the veal hardly pan seared very white looking Also an Italian restaurant that doesn’t offer bread with your meal For an appetizer which was actually happy hour on a Saturday we ordered the fried calamari and the server charged us to $14 price instead of the happy hour price and barely had any calamari on it with a lot of garlic and Calabria chilies Will think twice before coming back again"

"We have been here several times and always liked it. This visit was disappointing. The food was just okay this time and the service was not very good. We waited a long time for the waitress and then when she finally came she was a little rude. Hopefully this is not the new norm. I personally will not be too quick to revisit any time soon. I know times have been difficult the past year and a half so I wish them well."

"Our server Mia was an absolute delight. She was very attentive and pleasant. The outside seating was good. I liked the breeze as we ate and the sound of the water feature as we ate our meals. I had the stuffed shells, which Mia suggested and they did not disappoint! They were literally the best I have ever eaten. If you ever find yourself around this place, do yourself a favor and eat here. My son had the fettuccine Alfredo which he said was good but he said it lacked the bite of the romano cheese like mine has. My husband had the lobster ravioli that he said was perfection! Thank you Mia for an enjoyable dining experience. If you like a red sangria......get theirs! Homemade and the best I have ever had! Wish they would bottle it and sell it!"

"A four star rating is a great experience. But if a restaurant goes far beyond the reputation of duty to ensure that visitors have a better than good experience only then it needs a five (5) star. Starting from the location, the ambience is unique both inside and outside, the decor and the entire concept of this restaurant. Every single employee we interacted with was great! The menu has a great variety and not overwhelming. I will often visit for the above reasons. The view of the port, the proximity of the water, people observe that it is all part of the experience. We had the honour to meet the restaurant manager (AL) Amazing people who enjoy his abilities of trade and leadership. The food quality was something I was looking for at a first visit, as it simply tells the true story of a restaurant. I must say that it deserves this five (5) star! I will recommend and will often be visited. I look forward to my early autumn next visit."

"I recently visited this restaurant for my son's birthday. The space was very crowded, as they were trying to accommodate as many people as possible. The service was average, as we had to wait for refills a couple of times. The glasses were small, so we ended up drinking a lot. The server was very kind and did her best to meet our needs. The food was good; my son especially enjoyed the spaghetti. The red sauce was a bit sweeter than what we're used to, but we all liked it. We were surprised by the bread that came out, as we had already ordered breadsticks. We ended up with a lot of carbs, haha. They offered bread pudding instead of celebrating with a birthday song. We will likely return, but we'll make sure to go during slower hours next time."

"Pleasantly surprised. I've lived in walking distance to Metro for years, but had never been. I was curious about the recent renovations- so wandered over there for dinner. My partner in crime ordered the fried chicken, and I was jealous the second it hit the table. It was not only pretty, but absolutely delicious- crispy, savory, juicy and not greasy at all. The honey butter rosemary glaze really made the dish, and the mac and cheese was equally tasty. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was also delicious, although lacking in presentation (maybe a little green garnish would've helped it out). "This was my first time here and I was shocked about the inside. There were very few regular tables. It looked more like a lounge than a restaurant there was hardly anyone there. But, my burger was great and the onion rings were good. Our waitress was really attentive and nice so it was a good meal. I was just surprised by how it looked more like a lounge than a restaurant. We were there for lunch so maybe it comes alive fills up during the evening hours."

"We have eaten here for pizza a few times in the past, and it was always good, truthfully, probably much better than most pizza places. We decided one night to stop and eat in. We were in the mood for Italian food. So the teens had pasta with meat sauce, the other one, no meat sauce. They finished it all. The portions were plenty. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs, and the bowl was huge. I had a salad with grilled chicken, I know, I know, but I also had a side of meatballs. The food was kissing my lips to my fingers straight up to God good!! So if the place is packed. It's worth the wait! "The food (steak and fries) was superb. Unfortunately the food runner got the order mixed up, so the fries were getting cold when I got my meal and another person at my party had started eating my steak. If our waiter had apologized or at least acknowledged the mistake, I would never have written this bad review. I usually only write when the experience is positive. But we got charged full price and the waiter didn't even show up to ask if we needed more drinks or if everything was alright after the first mix-up. The place was far from full as we got there a little before five. Not a good experience "

"After having seen this restaurant many times from delivering food, I decided to eat dinner here. Ordered the fried pickles which were quite good but EXTREMELY overpriced at $16 when there were only maybe 12 pickle slices. If you're going to charge that much, give me a lot more! Ordered 3 sliders with fries for $19. Sliders tasted very good but again, it was very pricey for what it was. Guess this is par for the course in the Hamptons though! "We went to Raise on a Friday night for some small plates. The happy hour menu advertised a 3 for $29 small plate special, which we opted for the small plates were imaginative, but nothing to really write home about. Unfortunately, we were sat right in the middle of a large group of after work happy hour goers, and could not have a conversation due to the sheer volume of the restaurant. Chicken Buffalo sandwich was excellent, and the sauce with the Thai meatballs was very flavorful. Sadly, we were charged full price for the small plates, instead of the advertised special due to the noise level, we decided just to pay instead of trying to communicate the error."

"Really nice little place. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly staff member. He told us to sit anywhere and walk up when we were ready to order. As we were reading the menu he brought over water for all of us. We ordered 3 pizzas and they were all good. The mozzarella on one of the pizzas was very high quality. Another pizza was pesto and it was a bit on the string side but also fresh. Our last pizza had a spicy pepperoni on it and it was also very good. Not a cheap place to eat but definitely hits in high quality. I will definitely return."

"I went on a Saturday afternoon at 3p till about 7p customer serviced suked, the server appeared to not enjoy her job at all. I felt she was annoyed anytime i asked her for anything. 1 server n 1 bar tender I still can't believe they dont have separate lunch times anyway they decided to sit down to have lunch together!! Like the place literally stopped n came to stand still. On the other hand, The bar tender was much friendlier n willing to discuss ur drink options. The food was excellent no complaints there. Just a shame the Servers Customer Service was soo poor.."
