"I went on a Saturday afternoon at 3p till about 7p customer serviced suked, the server appeared to not enjoy her job at all. I felt she was annoyed anytime i asked her for anything. 1 server n 1 bar tender I still can't believe they dont have separate lunch times anyway they decided to sit down to have lunch together!! Like the place literally stopped n came to stand still. On the other hand, The bar tender was much friendlier n willing to discuss ur drink options. The food was excellent no complaints there. Just a shame the Servers Customer Service was soo poor.."

The food was delicious and that's coming from a Puerto Rican.

This is a fantastic, laid-back bar with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the slushy drinks are spot on. The rum punch is delightful!

The food and drinks are incredibly tasty, making it a fantastic spot to gather with friends and enjoy a wonderful time. The outdoor beer garden is an added bonus! View menu

Absolutely fantastic! If you're in search of a lively little place, this is the one! The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious. I had to try the canoa, yuca fries, and some guacamole with chips. So tasty!

The food was bland. I had the jibarito sandwich and the meat had no seasoning. The mofongo with shrimp and the gravy for the mofongo needed salt and pepper. But the Isla platter was decent. I would eat that again.

Overall, the food was good, although it was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered the Alcapurrias, pernil, and pork chops served with rice and gandules. The rice was our least favorite part of the meal, as it could have used a bit more flavor. View menu

The food and service were excellent! While I wasn't completely fond of the way the mofongo was prepared—since it wasn't traditional—it was still really delicious! The standout items for me were the morir soñando cocktail and the alcapurrias, which were both fantastic!

We absolutely love this place! It offers truly authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, the best Spanish music, and fantastic salsa dancing, all complemented by a great resident DJ. The venue is the perfect size for any weather, especially with summer approaching, as it features a large patio. If anyone reads this before July 7th and there are still tickets available, they will be hosting a Freestyle concert that I plan to attend. If you can’t make it, I’ll be sure to post pictures for you!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
