"Just Ok. So, not worth the price in my opinion. For the price and online build up as a fine dining experience, I expected a bit more. Yes, there were some highlights, and some low lights, in the end resulting in a mediocre experience. First, thepositives. Service friendliness and attentiveness was good. The soups and salads were good, in fact, the wedge salad wasexcellent. The side of steamed vegetables was cooked perfectly. Now, the ?just ok? items. The chicken fried steak wasaverage. The second basket of rolls (more about the first basket later) was ok, too. Two of the three sirloin steaks were ofaverage quality, but not as tender or flavorful as similar (and a lot less expensive) sirloin steaks at Texas Road House. Theside of steak fries was warm, but nothing special. And, the three layer chocolate cake, while it was clearly of thestore bought variety, was decent. Finally, to the areas for improvement. The first set of rolls, which were touted as?rightout of the oven,? were lukewarm and burnt on the bottom. The server did bring out a second set later on. My steak, ordered aupoivre, did not come au poivre. I alerted the server, who brought out a dish of peppercorns and a separate dish of cream saucefor me to make the au poivre myself. However, I?m glad I did have the au poivre, because without it, my steak would have beeninedible. It was so tough and filled with gristles that I had to cut it into tiny pieces and drown it in the sauce to eat it. For the server, who was very friendly and attentive, there were a few mistakes that I?m sure will be sharpened with experience. For example, he never took our drink order. He hastily filled our water glasses at the beginning, but didn?t offer any otherdrinks. The second basket of rolls was returned with our original half consumed dish of whipped butter since it was takenback to the kitchen for the refill of rolls, the butter dish should have been refilled and returned full. "We enjoyed our experience in Keith Young?s Steakhouse. I made a last minute reservation by Open Table. We arrived a few minutes early and sat right away. Our waiter arrived shortly after and started running through the menu. Fresh hot bread was served while we looked at our first selections. The wine selection was really good. In particular, there is a wide range of red and whiskeys. For beginners we enjoyed the Calamari and the tomato soup. The soup was particularly interesting because it was not sour and had a nice roasted tomato taste. For entrees we had redfish, carved veal and crab meat au gratin. The redfish was very fresh. The crab and sauce complemented the fish well. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab and calf dishes were enjoyed. The proportion of veins was considerable. We added a page of roared tomatoes. They were bribed with Parmesan and Crustini crumbs, which were beautifully paired with the fish. For dessert we had bread pudding, raspberry sorbet and chocolate mousse. The sorbet had an incredibly intense raspberry taste very good. The bread pudding was decadent, and the mousse was sweet and creamy. The service was top notch. Our waiter was friendly and informative. The worrying staff ensured that our waters were always filled and that the table was unlimited. The owner walked around and met us when we were done, he was very nice and personal. The Maitre d? remembered wishing me a happy birthday when we stepped out what underlined the extraordinary attention to detail. This is definitely one of the best restaurants on the north coast."
