"The parking was terrible, and the interior was dark and outdated. The menu pricing for steaks was market price, which I have only ever seen applied to fish at coastal restaurants. Our waitress was friendly, but her opinions of the food were less than complementary, besides the steak. This was my first visit, but I wasn 't overly impressed."

"From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was phenomenal. The staff, ambiance, and food quality were all excellent. The presentation was top-notch and you could truly taste the freshness of the herbs used in the dishes. I was very impressed with everything. I tried the gluten-free pasta and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The dessert was also fantastic. Bravo. I will definitely be returning!"

"The food and service are always amazing! I had seafood gumbo and peach bignets. So delicious. Every bite. I also love their fried shrimp, red pepper cabbage, and French fries. The seafood pasta is outstanding. I've never had anything there I didn't like. I could just get an order of all sides and be happy mac cheese yams, rice gravy, greens, red beans rice are all so good. I only have the atmosphere a 3 star simply because I think they've outgrown this spot, more customers than seating."

"Five star for view, atmosphere and the FABULOUS FOOD. I had the fried oysters and a salad- they were the BEST EVER! My aunt had the Beef Beach, she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. That being said we had the most unfriendly and rude server EVER! Never spoke to us except to ask what we wanted to drink and eat. No “ how’s your food” “ need a refill” “need anything” no “ Your welcome” “my pleasure” no ANYTHING! I asked for a straw and you would have thought I asked for the world on a platter! He rolled his eyes and walked off. Brought the straw back with the next tables food, tossed it on the table and left. So sad our workforce has come to this. Customer service should definitely be taught in all service jobs because people do not know how to serve others any more, even when that’s what they are getting paid for. We did leave a generous tip with a little note. I pray he takes the words to heart. Sadly this kind of attitude does reflect bad on the whole establishment. Most people would take offense and not return. It was our first visit to The Chimneys (traveled 2hrs) and WILL NOT be our last despite a bad attitude from the server. But I do hope his day and service towards improve. And just SMILE. So simple, pain free and cost nothing. But changes so very much. God bless you all."

"We love coming to Hamiltonâs and often do. Last night, however, the steak salad was mediocre at best. Steak was very tough, portions inedible and unable to be cut with the knife provided. I told the waiter the steak was very tough and requested a steak knife. He brought the steak knife but there was no follow up or comment on his part as to my satisfaction w/ the steak. Half of it was left on my plate. Not good!"

"We had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early. Had to wait for our table while others after us were seated. Sat us at a table for 4 even though reservation was for 2. Open table asked if it was a special occasion but nothing was mentioned while we were there. Server didn't ask us if we wanted drinks, bread kept being promised and eventually came (ran out). Utensils were dirty. Booth bench very uncomfortable but cozy vibe. Food was very good. I would not make this a regular spot."

"I called a day in advance to make sure that my reservation was set, and the manager was so friendly and thoughtful! Overall, wonderful staff and service for a small celebration for my father's birthday! The staff was so friendly and even sang Happy Birthday! The Jamaican Snapper Special was a hit! (Shrimp and Grits is my personal Fav though) We had a small table in the private dining area, and it was right! Not too loud and the music was nice! Thank you to the staff and chefs to make my father's birthday special!"

"Had a dozen oysters, they were awesome! Also had the shrimp po boy, nom, nom, mom. Atmosphere was nice, lots to look at. Service was a bit slow for the time of day, but there can be a million reasons for that. Go get a beer and a dozen! "Well, unfortunately they say that you will remember the bad experiences over the good ones in the restaurant world! So, it's my 13th anniversary and we traveled from Arlington Tx to experience San Antonio with our two girls. I made reservations on Wednesday in order to make sure we would be attending this location. I hate to imply that servers are just there for the money but with 12 years experience I know that the job is more than just about tips! Our experience tonight was not a good one and will be one that will come up in conversations in the future. I voiced my concern to the manager which didn't really seem to care! Maybe it was me, or something else! I would hate to make it about that since San Antonio does have a large population of me! Ill end it with, they never did or said anything regarding our anniversary when we were done eating. Shame on you! We did request a different sever, it made things a bit better."

"I ordered the shrimp cocktail and seafood bisque. Neither one was that good. It’s obvious that all their seafood is frozen. The shrimp cocktail had no flavor at all. Didn’t taste like shrimp or anything else. Could not taste any seafood in the bisque either, just the seasoning. There were bits of seafood in there but none of the seafood had any flavor. Prices too high for this poor quality. Won’t come back and don’t recommend."

"I feel like I was fighting this place, especially because I was super excited for him. it is a nice place and really cozy. the woman who sat us was so nice and enthusiastic! When you look at the menu, everything looked like it was delicious! Once we got our food, we were visually satisfied. the given stars are for the view of the restaurant, the beautiful woman in front and the presentation of eating. from there it went downhill. we got the biscuit board, the cookies were dry and the gravure was cold. we liked the canned very much! I feel like it's overpriced for what it was. the benedikt of my ofelias was not a luster. it was warmer than the heavy, but it was also kind of room. the eggs were well cooked and had not run at all. it didn't seem like a little seasoned, including the fried green tomatoes and asparagus. concerning the hollandaise, it was decent to taste itself, but the taste was lost with all the others. my friend has the cajun breakfast sandwich. he did not love either. there were minimal aioli there; he could not taste it and had to ask for more. therefore it was dry and that made the arugula difficult to treat. Although it andouille was on it, it was small (especially against the size of the sandwiches) and was simply laid a kind of diagonal over the brot. also his egg was overcooked. basically, the sandwich filling was not proportional at all and it was also quite bland. we ordered espresso, which was a last. our server was nice, but not very attentive. it took almost all the time spent there to get a refill of water. we love it when we are out of town, too breakfast, but this visit was disappointing. I hope it was just a free day."

"Let me start off by saying the flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Definitely worth every penny! Bri went above and beyond to make my dining experience memorable. She was attentive without being intrusive. The owner Gary is always very welcoming and has become a friend I look forward to seeing. I love the cozy, intimate setting of this place. The local photography, the dim lighting and soft music set the perfect mood."

"We were in town for the weekend and met friends who live in the area for appetizers and drinks. We arrived early and went to the bar for a cocktail. The table was very sticky, but the server was wonderful! The dining room wasn’t extremely clean, but the server was very attentive, polite and efficient. There was food on the floor, a couple of crayons, crumbs, etc. it was not busy at all so I feel the place should have been in better shape. If the restaurant were cleaner, it would have been a perfect experience. In fact, the calamari was possibly the best I’ve ever tasted."

"full moon oyster bar is a great place to get fresh oysters and other species of seafood! instead of regular seating, customers sit at one of the four bars in the restaurant and a server is at every bar to take drinks and food orders. the seat is a little tight and is better suited for smaller parties, but everyone, both the personal and other customers, are super friendly! the personal is friendly, attentive and wears warming with funny seafood puns. the atmosphere is very casual and the vibes are tightly knitted. about eating, it was delicious. everything was breathtakingly boiled and freshly costed. calamari: satisfied bite! the squid tasted fresh and was soft. it was not stiff or chewing. the teig was crispy and spiced, and everything was bribed with a Thai chili sauce and shredded cheese. we asked for horse-eradiesel and tartaric acid sauce as it does not come with it, and it tasted fantastic! seared tuna: soft pieces of thunfish with a sesame seed crust! it tasted fresh and surprisingly not too fishy. bacon wrapped scallops: crispy speck around a soft scalopp. it was a bit salty, but it tasted delicious. the scallops and speck were perfectly cooked. crabbed stuffed oysters: boiled oysters with an amazing crabs dip! the two couple was so good together and was a great appetizer. filet mignon: cooked for perfection and served with two sides of their choice. the side of the potato cake and the hush were so crispy. raw oysters: rubbed in front of you and so freshly costed. they can even utter by size and saline. I felt like I got up after every bite. I recommend full moon oyster bar to eat fresh seafood while sitting in an entertaining atmosphere."

"I went for the oysters, because I had heard so much about them. I ordered both fried and chargrilled oysters. They were just ok... lots of butter and lacking in flavor.I would caution anyone dining here to check your bill carefully. Our server included a 20% tip to our bill and claimed it's automatic for parties of 5 or more. However, the menu clearly states in bold letters that the tip is automatic for parties of 6 or more. There were 5 people in our party. When I called it to his attention, he immediately corrected the bill and removed the tip. I normally give a minumum 20% tip when dining out, so it wasn't a big deal, but the problem I had was the fact that he was not honest from the onset."

"A friend and I had a truly memorable dining experience. The ambiance and staff were outstanding. We were promptly greeted and given the opportunity to select our table. The interior was reminiscent of a tasting room at a winery. Moreover, the interior was warm and inviting. Our wait person was extremely attentive, friendly and readily anticipated our needs. We began our meal with salads that were fresh and delicious. For the main course, we ordered the special ... Shrimp and grits. When the dish arrived, it was immediately apparent that we had chosen a delectable and mouth watering meal. The grits were creamy, well seasoned and the shrimp were expertly prepared. The dish was punctuated with fresh herbs and a unique flavor that was comparable to a low country dish found in South Carolina. My friend was so impressed with the meal that he stated, I would really like to return to Pastabilities and bring my family. Highly recommend Pastabilities to anyone who is interested in a gourmet like dining experience with well crafted food."
