"The parking was terrible, and the interior was dark and outdated. The menu pricing for steaks was market price, which I have only ever seen applied to fish at coastal restaurants. Our waitress was friendly, but her opinions of the food were less than complementary, besides the steak. This was my first visit, but I wasn 't overly impressed."

"From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was phenomenal. The staff, ambiance, and food quality were all excellent. The presentation was top-notch and you could truly taste the freshness of the herbs used in the dishes. I was very impressed with everything. I tried the gluten-free pasta and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The dessert was also fantastic. Bravo. I will definitely be returning!"

"The food and service are always amazing! I had seafood gumbo and peach bignets. So delicious. Every bite. I also love their fried shrimp, red pepper cabbage, and French fries. The seafood pasta is outstanding. I've never had anything there I didn't like. I could just get an order of all sides and be happy mac cheese yams, rice gravy, greens, red beans rice are all so good. I only have the atmosphere a 3 star simply because I think they've outgrown this spot, more customers than seating."

"Five star for view, atmosphere and the FABULOUS FOOD. I had the fried oysters and a salad- they were the BEST EVER! My aunt had the Beef Beach, she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. That being said we had the most unfriendly and rude server EVER! Never spoke to us except to ask what we wanted to drink and eat. No “ how’s your food” “ need a refill” “need anything” no “ Your welcome” “my pleasure” no ANYTHING! I asked for a straw and you would have thought I asked for the world on a platter! He rolled his eyes and walked off. Brought the straw back with the next tables food, tossed it on the table and left. So sad our workforce has come to this. Customer service should definitely be taught in all service jobs because people do not know how to serve others any more, even when that’s what they are getting paid for. We did leave a generous tip with a little note. I pray he takes the words to heart. Sadly this kind of attitude does reflect bad on the whole establishment. Most people would take offense and not return. It was our first visit to The Chimneys (traveled 2hrs) and WILL NOT be our last despite a bad attitude from the server. But I do hope his day and service towards improve. And just SMILE. So simple, pain free and cost nothing. But changes so very much. God bless you all."

"A friend was in Charlottesville for business, so we drove down from Fredericksburg for dinner. The food was good, but not remarkable. I ordered the lamb meatballs and the crab cakes. The meatballs were good. The crab cakes had no filler, but I found them to be dry. My wife had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were good sized, but there weren't very many of them. The grits were done well. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate torte, which was incredible! The service was very slow. The waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order, despite writing it down when we ordered it. They came out with our entree. We had to wait quite a while for a check, too. I'd go back, but I wouldn't pick it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"It pains me to write a negative review for a restaurant I had positive memories of. Came here for a nice dinner with my family while visiting our freshman son. We had a reservation and they were fully booked, understandable on a football weekend. We were seated at the time of our reservation, that’s really the only positive thing I can say about our experience. We were seated in a weird overflow area that looked like a cafeteria. No farmhouse charm. No utensils, no water. Placed our orders, took a full hour to get our meals. Our server would pass by our table and ask us a question (everything ok? Need anything? and essentially walk away before we could answer. After waiting an hour for our food, two of us essentially had inedible steaks. Charred on the outside, horrible taste. My son did not even want to take leftovers home. It was really bad, especially for the price. And a waste of food. In a nutshell, I would not recommend the Farmhouse and would not return. All the way around a very expensive sub-par experience."

"We decided to try out Franks for the first time for our anniversary dinner. What a great choice that turned out to be! Some of the highlights of our dinner include: Restaurant owner coming to our table to personally thank us for choosing to eat dinner at Franks for our anniversary, complementary glass of champagne, modern layout of restaurant, creative menu items, creative wine list/cocktails, server (DJ) was very pleasant to converse with and knew the menu well. Although we were impressed by these things, the most important aspect of any restaurant is the food. This, perhaps, is where Franks separated itself from most other restaurants in the Shreveport-Bossier area. EVERYTHING we tasted (hush puppies, marinated crab claws, Blue fin tuna, Shrimp and grits, Banana pudding cheesecake, pecan chocolate pie a la mode) was absolutely stellar! We will be back to visit this gem again and highly recommend others try it out, if they haven’t already done so."

"My wife and I tried this place for the first time and it's the best oyster place we have been to. We tried the Moon rockers and they were very good, we then tried the char-grilled oysters and they were stupendous with a great char-grilled flavor, we then topped it off with with the crab stuffed oysters. They were all excellent. We will be coming back soon. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Char-Grilled Oysters"

"Stopped in on the way to Mobile just off I65 next to Shoney's on a Monday at about 6 pm. Gumbo bowl tasted ok but was dry. Not sure how that's gumbo. Ate it with a fork. 8 bbq wings were good. Server never once smiled in 6 visits to my table and seemed distracted. Meal was $25.21 and I tipped $5ish. Greeter was cheerful and polite. Place was mostly empty though seemed pleasant."

"Well, unfortunately they say that you will remember the bad experiences over the good ones in the restaurant world! So, it's my 13th anniversary and we traveled from Arlington Tx to experience San Antonio with our two girls. I made reservations on Wednesday in order to make sure we would be attending this location. I hate to imply that servers are just there for the money but with 12 years experience I know that the job is more than just about tips! Our experience tonight was not a good one and will be one that will come up in conversations in the future. I voiced my concern to the manager which didn't really seem to care! Maybe it was me, or something else! I would hate to make it about that since San Antonio does have a large population of me! Ill end it with, they never did or said anything regarding our anniversary when we were done eating. Shame on you! We did request a different sever, it made things a bit better."

"I don't care about what a chef thinks about how I want my steak I ordered well done, red inside, tasted blood. Mash potatoes were cold. Two cold plates. Longhorn has better steaks. The menu is just about 15 different plates to choose from and the sides of chosen for you. Waiter was super nice. Food super horrible. $170.00 for the worst meal I have ever had."

"The third time in this place. After two previous visits, which were absolutely terrible, I chose 3 strikes and they are deleted forever. Our server was Cynthia. She was professional, knew the dishes on the menu and immediately placed our appetizer, in which was a big plus. Now I know when I go back (yes, I will visit again, only the difference is the time of the day will change to make sure the staff is different. My first visit was just after the move here last summer. The fried shrimps had not so good taste. The second visit, "My appetizer did not come out until I was ready to go. When I decided I wouldn't come back. This visit was great. Shrimp had an excellent fresh taste, the only difference was that they were filled with crab meat. The shrimps were nicely fried and I love their Koleslawin. The roasted Okra was also delicious."

"we have chosen to brunch in farm bell kitchen, based on the many number of positive online reviews available. we also thought, based on the very limited number of available reservations, that must be a sign that it is really good. I will begin to say that our server was great no problem there. but we were disappointed at the rest of the service. fortunately we were not in a hurry because the kitchen was very supported, and it took a long time to receive our escapes. I ordered the fried chicken and waffel, and my man ordered the farm bell benedict. the waffel was quite generic and the fried chicken was unfortunately over, the coating was almost burned. Moreover, the egg was on the benedikt my mannes in no wise runny, which was also disappointing. we ordered the keksboard to begin and that was the best part of the meal. Finally, her resting situation is something, we say, unique. I used the toilet room in the cellar, which has a hook and eye lock, so as to follow when someone pushes on the door to see if the toilet room is occupied, the door easily opens the person who use the toilets not ideal. we would give this place another shot, but not run back."

"We are traveling in from out of state and regret not choosing somewhere else to eat for the day. I chose this place and we arrived at 10:20. We were told they stopped serving breakfast at 11- we had PLENTY of time to order. We sat down at 10:27 and were given breakfast menus. Nobody came to serve us. This was AFTER we watched a table of 6-8 get up and leave after not being served and the server being VERY rude to them and yelling at them. We should’ve known then. We chose to still give it a try. 25 minutes later, we had asked about a server and the busser said ‘well we don’t serve lunch until 11’. Okay, 1, still can we get a server? 2, we were here in PLENTY of time for breakfast! My husband went up and asked to switch to lunch menus since the server has ignored us. She switched them and then she still didn’t come over to our table. 11:05 comes around, FINALLY someone else comes over and her initial hello was ‘hi I just walked in the door I’m not sure what’s going on but I was told to come to your table’. With frustration, I explained what happened. Luckily she was very sweet but still we were not impressed. Food was pretty decent, but I will never return as the service was so poor. Watching a server yell at customers is NOT okay, even if you’re busy. And watching a server completely ignore tables and wait on (obvious) regulars that walked in AFTER us, again not okay. We would have left but it would have taken more time to load two small children up than to wait. But in the hour and a half we were there, we watched three tables get up and leave. This is a poor representation for a restaurant."

"I can't stress enough how wonderful our dinner and experience at 419 was! Our food was incredible...I had the tiger shrimp, scallops, and lump crab meat over grits with asparagus. It was without a doubt THE BEST seafood meal I've had for as long as I can remember. Having lived on the coast and experienced fresh seafood regularly, I rarely give seafood a chance if not close to the ocean. My husbands steak was fantastic as well...cooked perfectly and well selected. The martinis were great and the service was even better! Can't wait to go back!!"

"full moon oyster bar is a great place to get fresh oysters and other species of seafood! instead of regular seating, customers sit at one of the four bars in the restaurant and a server is at every bar to take drinks and food orders. the seat is a little tight and is better suited for smaller parties, but everyone, both the personal and other customers, are super friendly! the personal is friendly, attentive and wears warming with funny seafood puns. the atmosphere is very casual and the vibes are tightly knitted. about eating, it was delicious. everything was breathtakingly boiled and freshly costed. calamari: satisfied bite! the squid tasted fresh and was soft. it was not stiff or chewing. the teig was crispy and spiced, and everything was bribed with a Thai chili sauce and shredded cheese. we asked for horse-eradiesel and tartaric acid sauce as it does not come with it, and it tasted fantastic! seared tuna: soft pieces of thunfish with a sesame seed crust! it tasted fresh and surprisingly not too fishy. bacon wrapped scallops: crispy speck around a soft scalopp. it was a bit salty, but it tasted delicious. the scallops and speck were perfectly cooked. crabbed stuffed oysters: boiled oysters with an amazing crabs dip! the two couple was so good together and was a great appetizer. filet mignon: cooked for perfection and served with two sides of their choice. the side of the potato cake and the hush were so crispy. raw oysters: rubbed in front of you and so freshly costed. they can even utter by size and saline. I felt like I got up after every bite. I recommend full moon oyster bar to eat fresh seafood while sitting in an entertaining atmosphere."

"I went for the oysters, because I had heard so much about them. I ordered both fried and chargrilled oysters. They were just ok... lots of butter and lacking in flavor.I would caution anyone dining here to check your bill carefully. Our server included a 20% tip to our bill and claimed it's automatic for parties of 5 or more. However, the menu clearly states in bold letters that the tip is automatic for parties of 6 or more. There were 5 people in our party. When I called it to his attention, he immediately corrected the bill and removed the tip. I normally give a minumum 20% tip when dining out, so it wasn't a big deal, but the problem I had was the fact that he was not honest from the onset."

"Pastabilities?.I?m impressed! I came here in 2010. The tables were so close together, the atmosphere small, spaghetti was so so; that I never came back. Turns out, 12 years later, 2022, that Pastabilities is amazing! The atmosphere, so open and big. Tables spread apart. Food delicious! Vanessa really made our supper special. Her attitude, spirit and excitement really captured us and we adored her. Bought a bottle of wine, a few ipas show up. One of us had the special rare ahi tuna with roasted veggies. One of us had the The meaty mozz: meatballs and noodles and the last had the chicken carbonara. It was so fun and enjoyable. We felt welcome!! Thank you again! ???? Pics below!!"
