"I visited the restaurant for a second time when it opened at 11am. The lady who attended to me was extremely nice and friendly. I ordered a box of food to take to my doctor's office. Although they were a bit behind schedule, I received my fresh, succulent, and delicious meal in just 15 minutes. My number one favorite is the brown butter doughnut, which was heavenly. I also tried the revamped guava doughnut, which had a delicious guava cream center and cookie crumble that added the perfect texture. It struck the perfect balance of sweetness. This is definitely my favorite donut shop in Miami. After trying them again, I realized that the size of the donuts is perfect as it is, so I retract my previous suggestion to make them bigger."

"I have been a loyal patron of Prolific Oven since they first opened on University Avenue in Palo Alto, close to Stanford University. There are several reasons why I keep coming back to my favorite restaurant: 1. The food is outstanding; 2. The prices are reasonable; 3. The service is personal and exceptional; 4. The atmosphere is clean, safe, and inviting. While I have also visited their locations in Fremont and Sunnyvale, I tend to go to the Rivermark branch more often for one additional reason: 5. It’s conveniently located. Plus, I can enjoy their Wi-Fi while I’m there!"

"We spent some time in the cozy room, but about 30 minutes into our meal, a table for 8 was seated at the table for 6 near us. It made it impossible for us to have a conversation. We left before ordering dessert. My partner and I are now reconsidering our reservation for Thanksgiving dinner, worried about a repeat of this experience. I was especially disappointed since I had chosen this restaurant. I understand there may not be much they can do about disruptive diners. On a positive note, my halibut was delicious."

"One's first impression is this is not a dine-in restaurant. Inside, we were led to a small isle of about six tables along street facing windows. We were seated at one of those, a scarred wooden table and wooden chairs with cracked plastic seat cushions. While waiting for a fourth guest to arrive, we ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. The wine list was minimal, but I chose what appeared to be their best offering, a Brunello di Montalcino from an unfamiliar producer. Our server first brought a wrong bottle, not the Brunello, and went back for the correct one. When she inserted her waiter's corkscrew, the cork immediately began to crumble, not a sign of good storage. She left with the bottle, presumably to get a different one, but another employee returned with the same bottle, apparently having more expertise with opening wine bottles. I expressed concern about the dry cork and asked if the bottle had been stored upright instead of on its side? She said all their wines were stored upright! I said to go ahead and see if the cork could be removed without crumbling into the wine, and I would taste it to determine if it was still good. Fortunately, the rest of the cork was removed and appeared to have maintained a secure seal between the wine and air. There was no off taint on the nose and it tasted free of oxidation- OK to drink. Our calamari appetizer arrived and we were pleasantly surprised after our initial impressions. The calamari rings were lightly breaded, perfectly prepared and served with a very flavorful and nicely spiced dipping sauce. Our fourth guest arrived and we ordered our entrees. We had never received a bread basket, which was finally noticed by another employee. Three of us had different pasta dishes and the fourth chose salmon with vegetables. Those of us with pasta, all enjoyed our meals; but my other guest thought her salmon was too bland. Bottom line: Food was good, service was poor, and not for wine lovers."

"It was a decent place to stop by and eat. The gap in attention to detail is what keeps from return visits. Stopped in and ordered some food and coffee’s. The coffee was sad, ordered pour over coffee and witnessed them ruin it. I’ll just say the staff needs training on preparation of coffee. The food came out to order, the requested condiments did not. Server did not return. Parking is plentiful and there is plenty of room inside and covered patio."

"Came here about an hour before closing. Tried the natas (of course! and the Bola de Berlin (house donut with custard . Both were so good. Pastel de nata The puff pastry base was so pleasantly flaky, tender, delicate, not overbaked. The custard filling was also delicate, not too sweet and complemented the puff pastry so well. Bola de Berlin The bola (donut was so pillowy and almost melt in your mouth. The sugar coat gave a nice crunch and texture; it was a nice contrast to the soft donut and creamy custard filling. The custard filling is a little bit on the sweeter side (compared to the natas but it was so good that even for me who prefers less sweet things, I thoroughly enjoyed it. What was more impressive was that they tasted so good even though I came at the end of the day. They are not cheap... but I will definitely be coming back to try more of their bakery items because of the great impression I had with what I've tried at my first visit. In my opinion, far superior to the natas at Paderia Bakehouse. Please come here if you want a great Portuguese egg tart."

"During our holiday in New York, we visited Andrew's while traveling from Wrexham, North Wales. We were on the lookout for a place to have breakfast, and Andrew's came highly recommended. We enjoyed a delicious meal, but be aware that it can get extremely busy. We had to wait in line outside, and it felt a bit like being herded like cattle at times. However, once we were seated, the experience was definitely worth the wait, and I would gladly recommend it to others."

"We tried the specials of the day, starting with the breaded white fish. It was outstanding, perfectly cooked with a delightful egg batter, and the fingerling potatoes were excellent! On the other hand, the ramp pesto pasta was a bit disappointing. While the fish was served at an ideal eating temperature, the pesto was just at room temperature, which didn’t quite work. The mussels and clams were good, although one of the mussels was not fresh. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but its texture was odd at room temperature. The chocolate mousse and caramel dessert was fantastic, truly a highlight! Afterward, our waiter claimed their eclairs were the best around, so we decided to order one, but it was a significant letdown. The dough was old and crumbly, and upon the first bite, the eclair split open, spilling its filling everywhere, which was quite off-putting at the end of our meal."

"The tuna salad sandwich was absolutely delightful! I had it on a croissant, and it's now my go-to comfort food! I really appreciate the addition of alfalfa sprouts as well. The croissant was perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside, while the inside was a buttery dream that just melted in my mouth. My taste buds are still celebrating!"

"They have incredible variety here. I shared a box of many different varieties of Baklavah including pistachio. Extra syrup containers on the side for anyone wanting it sweeter was appreciated by my tasters. We also tried assorted cookies that were also delish. I look forward to tasting breads, and specialty cakes. 5 stars!"

"MILITARY DISCOUNT From outside it looks like your average bakery! Don't let looks deceive you! Go in, smell the smells, order tons because you will be disappointed in yourself if you don't. I visited mid afternoon 3 days in a row and I missed outon several of their Specialties because they are that Popular with the locals and people visiting from out of town. Thedoughnut Breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. The oldest recipe was the bear claw. You will not be disappointed!"

"If the owner of this establishment reads my review, I have a message for them: "You need to watch the behavior of your staff and ensure the quality of the products you sell to customers." My husband and I have visited this bakery multiple times because we live just one minute away. Despite the rude attitude of the Armenian women working there, we tried to ignore it and just focus on getting what we wanted. However, today was different. I asked my husband to bring me a piece of berry tart, specifically telling him to make sure the berries were fresh because I suspected they sometimes give old slices instead of fresh ones. He brought back five pieces and I was looking forward to enjoying them with fresh berries. Unfortunately, what I received was far from fresh. The cream was not fresh at all, and to top it off, there was mold on the blackberries and rotten raspberries used as decoration. We were extremely disappointed and angry. When we returned to the bakery, the woman who sold us the rotten pieces simply rolled her eyes when she saw us parking the car to return them. She didn't even apologize but acted as if she was doing us a favor by exchanging the pieces for fresh ones. I usually don't write reviews, whether good or bad, but this time I felt compelled to warn others about the terrible attitude and quality of products at this bakery. It's a shame I didn't take a photo of the mold, but the most shocking part was seeing her put the rotten piece back on the shelf to sell again."

"I recently came here for a private event, not just as a diner. Service wise everyone's attitudes were great, and everyone was very helpful when needed. I can applaud the servers for handling a large, loud group of people with such ease. The food however, was both a hit and miss for me. We had a salad that was honestly delicious, the pita chip appetizer that was equally if not more delicious, and some good drinks (shout out to the passion fruit lemonade with coconut cold foam!! . I did not try the Pizza but I was told it was mediocre, and the entrees.... Were absolutely lacking. I had pasta primavera and my husband had salmon. We both needed salt, pepper, and couldn't eat some of the vegetable pieces due to them being the inedible parts. He also had a few fish bones, so that was a nuisance. the lattes are good, we had many: vanilla and hazelnut iced lattes, pistachio latte (yum! , honey oat milk latte (not bad at all , a Greek style latte (needed milk , and many more. Overall those were good. Another minor issue we had was the tables just weren't being cleared out it felt like we had tons of glass around all the time. Overall, I think the place just needs to tidy up a little. If they fixed their seasoning for the entrees, this place would've easily been 5 stars. The decorations and size of the place are fantastic, just these few things should really be looked at. tldr Pros: non alcoholic drinks (latte, coffee, lemonades, etc great event space for up to 100 people appetizers dips salad are amazing Con: entree was completely dull tables should've been cleared more frequently experience was during a large event, so my review is likely slightly skewed"

"Really nice cozy place, and the one thing they have that no one else does, is an extremely good violin player who plays in the outdoor area. I've learned a little violin and this guy is *good* I've lived in San Jose for years now and the violin player here is far and away the best musician you can hear without paying $50 and up for a ticket. Yes, it's a wine bar but if you want your kid to have a good impression of violin-playing, take them to the outdoor patio here when Gabriel the violin player is doing his thing. It goes without saying that the coffee etc are to a high standard also."

"Such yummy treats!! They have things ranging from a cookie out of a cookie jar to the most decadent cake that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. As someone with food allergies, I found it really helpful that they clearly label their items for top allergies. The staff seemed very informed as well on what ingredients go into each baked good. This is one of my favorite places to come for a treat"

"Ordered two slices of cake to go along with an iced latte. Well, despite the fact that they have many of their cake slices pre-wrapped to-go, Ateaz does not have any utensils for your to-go order. It’s always such an oddity to me when you have a place like Areaz in a fairly busy area on the UES and they “run out” of basics like to-go utensils, the odd part being that if they grabbed a $20 out of the register they could probably go buy enough utensils to last until they can get some more in from their usual supplier. (Interestingly enough, they did have plastic knives, so this isn’t some sort of anti-plastics statement on the part of management. The iced latte was good enough, but with so many coffee places to choose from, I can’t imagine returning if the management has so little concern for customers’ convenience."

"This is the second time we have eaten at Darya and we live 4 hours away. The first time we were looking for Armenian food on Open Table. It was soooooooo delicious and fun, we wanted to take our daughters. We finally got to come back and bring our daughters. They loved it as well. It is not overly seasoned. It’s very authentic. It is Persian food, rather than Armenian, but it is very similar. The portions are also very large. There was a guitarist on Friday night. They have different music on the weekend. We loved the ambiance the food and the service! There are white table cloths but it’s not a stuffy environment."
