"I had a disappointing experience at the Bob Evans in Kokomo, Indiana. We were seated immediately, and I ordered my eggs over medium along with a cheese omelet. After about 45 minutes of waiting, our food finally arrived, but the cheese in the omelet was still cold and firm. Additionally, the server never offered or brought jelly for the toast. I understand that staffing issues can arise, but it would have been considerate for the server to inform us beforehand that our wait would be that long, so we could have chosen to eat elsewhere. Overall, there was a lack of customer consideration, and it will be quite some time before I return to another Bob Evans restaurant."

"We had three at our party. The assistant manager with crazy hair. By the way, a hair net should be used to reduce the contamination of food. Taken our name and party size. He said it was a server. Then we asked if we wanted to take a chance, wait 15 minutes. Wow, shocking how stressed he was. Honestly, never noticed lack of personnel. I'd credit the server. She was excellent. All boxes checked out-excellent personality, funny, organized, prompt. Well, to say here, as I said, the service was excellent. The food was excellent. We stopped our journeys. Very recommended. Just ignore the assistants fear. Other wise...all employees actually get big thumbs for team services. I hope you enjoy it, too."

"We lived in Hagerstown a couple years ago ate there every weekend. The restaurant has definitely declined in the few years we've been gone. Although, each time we are in town we still have breakfast there because we trust it enough for satisfaction. The 4 of us yesterday were mostly pleased with our meals."

"This place is hit and miss. Sometimes it's great with food being hot and served quickly with great service and other times it's the exact opposite. Long waits to be seated because hostess is no where around, cold food or waitress never comes around tocheck on you/refill coffee. The last visit I had was last week and half of my food was cold. Upon paying the bill the hostessasked me how everything was so I was honest. She asked if I'd like to speak to a manager about it and I said sure. Toldmanager that it's terrible paying $15 for breakfast when half the food was served cold. She took over half of my bill which wasappropriate. I really wish they would fix this issue though. I like eating there but I refuse to pay for cold food."

"Having breakfast with my Grandson on a Sunday morning was so special. The wait was not long at all. The waitress was courteous and service fast. I have food allergies and needed to know the types of ingredients were in certain foods. She investigated and explained what she could. And checked with the chef to make sure. While waiting for her to return, the manager comes out and answers all my questions. We ordered our breakfast. The manager returns with a written list of ingredients in one of the items I ordered. It was a pleasant atmosphere. We were able to sit and talk without being rushed out. The food was excellent. Or, maybe it was being in the company of my grandson. But, I had an excellent experience."

"We had such a great meal while waiting for the car to be fixed down the street. Our waitress was just the best answered all the questions the kids had, and kept coming back to check on us while picking up and cleaning the whole place. "It took us half an hour before we were finally served our dinner. We arrived at around 6:15, placed our order, and were eventually served a plate of cookies and jelly after being told that our dinner was on its way. I started to think that maybe we had forgotten to place our order. However, at around 7:45, we were finally served our three simple meals - two chicken strips with fries and a strawberry salad with potato soup. I'm not the greatest cook, but I'm pretty sure I could have made those meals in less than 30 minutes, especially given that I used to work in a restaurant with a steady flow of customers that didn't seem to be short-staffed. The restaurant was not extremely busy at any point during our visit. I was quite disappointed that my mother and I chose this place to celebrate my son's 21st birthday."

"We usually enjoy our visits to this restaurant, but today was a huge letdown. My husband and I ordered the country biscuit breakfast, and he requested an extra egg. We didn't receive it until after we complained, and by then he had already finished his meal. I also didn’t get the crumbled sausage that’s supposed to come with it. The waitress claimed it was because my husband opted for sausage gravy instead of country gravy, which meant I couldn’t have sausage either. I've ordered the same thing every time I visit and have never been informed of this policy before; they've always honored the standard deal. It’s unacceptable to take away from one customer because of another’s choices. We’ve decided to stop going there. When the host asked how everything was, I shared my feedback, but she seemed indifferent. There are plenty of other breakfast spots in Marion we can try."

"I had a delicious chicken entree that was also reasonably priced. My friend really enjoyed his veggie protein bowl. While I found the drinks to be overpriced, which is common in many restaurants, the highlight of our visit was our server. She was cheerful, fun, and very accommodating. It's great to see restaurants that offer good food at fair prices without the need for dressing up or making a fuss."

"I took my granddaughter out for breakfast, and it was her first visit to this restaurant. She ordered the chocolate chip hotcakes and sausages along with a chocolate milk. She mentioned that it was almost as good as mine! The Bob Evans nearby served meals that were just as delicious as Grandma's. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow; I had to track down a manager three times to get drink refills and to correct some incorrect food orders, as my server seemed to be absent for long stretches—perhaps they take extended smoke breaks here. On a positive note, the food tasted good and was reasonably priced, though it was slightly on the higher side. The portion sizes were small and didn't reflect the generous servings typically associated with country cooking, but the flavor was still satisfying. If they could improve the service and increase portion sizes, I’d definitely consider giving them a higher rating!"

"Our waiter was the BEST!!! He was so kind mannered, prompt, and gave our large family group excellent service!! The food was all was delicious! The sweet tea was not what I would call southern sweet tea. It didn't taste very good. I would definitely recommend it! We were in the area for a family funeral, unfortunately, but we were able to enjoy our large family party together for a meal. They provided accommodations for us all to be together."
