"2/26/22 In the mood for Mexican food, hubby and I decided to try Taqueria El Huarache in Silverdale. We were the first ones there, as we are usually for many restaurants. Elvia immediately greeted us with a friendly smile included; I asked a table, and then she took us to the bar area, that was a problem. We asked for water, and she quickly brought us water together with chips and salsa! The first thing I noticed about the restaurant, next to the kind greeting, it seemed a little outdated. The seating was a little rough around the edges, the floor covering looked antique, and much happened with decor and other objects hanging on the walls and the entrance door. I appreciated the colourfulness of the decor as it felt authentic; the other things were a bit disgusting from the funny Hispanic items that tasted the restaurant. Since I sat there and looked around as much as possible, it seemed relatively clean and had no strange, unpleasant smells; and all servers looked clean! I'm sorry I can't express my opinion about the toilets. *Before I talk about eating, I need to talk about our charming server Elvia; she was fantastic, funny, courteous and friendly to a boat; because that said that all we came was friendly, but they made you feel welcome! To dinner! So El Huaraches' menu is enormous, I lost counting on fifty items, and I feel there were probably 20 items on the menu that I didn't count. We have decided on the sheer number of elections; we would adhere to lunch specialties; there were thirty Esh selections to choose from too! I have always said that more is not necessarily better, and you have to ask yourself, is the taste and quality sacrificed for the crowd?! And if their other meals are as good as ours today, I will eat these words, lol. I decided for lunch Special #1, which had a tamale with beef, beans and rice. Hubby chose lunch Special #9, the Burrito; and the meat he chose was Carne Asada; his meal came with beans and rice. I was happy to have a homemade pigeon with homemade beans and rice. The beans and rice were good, but this tamale was great; perhaps it is because I usually skip ordering tamales; Finally, past has not been so impressive, so I typically go with what I know, but this was impressive, and I am happy, I chose it! Hubby's Burrito with the Carne Asada meat, hands down, was divine; I can't say I have ever carne asada so good, and he was extremely happy with his choice! Another very remarkable product was their salsa; We loved the swelling to him, strains of taste, and a little tiny bite, but nothing that would make you rush for a drink, just the perfect amount to improve it. We will definitely return!! Taqueria El Huaraches can be found at: 9448 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington. They border what I would consider as a small stripe mall; but they sit alone and are not connected to other buildings. Taqueria El Huaraches shares a significant parking lot with Joy Teryaki, Top Nails, Liv Refreshed and other small businesses. About Silverdale Way you can find Grocery Outlet and Greens on your way. If you enjoy Mexican food, now is the time to attract Taqueria El Huarache with your presence; I doubt you will be disappointed! Thank you for supporting local businesses and changing the world by being friendly to ALL living entities; we are all important!"

"I'm so glad we chose this place! The location deserves a 5 out of 5; it's in a great area in Natomas, and the interior is spacious. They even have a mini bar and some games! As for parking, I would rate it a 2 because it's somewhat far from the restaurant and shares the lot with other businesses. The hostess gets a 4; she seemed a bit serious, but I realized she might have had a long day, especially since the place was packed. The server earns a 4.5; he was attentive and friendly but did forget to bring me two items, which I had to remind him about. The environment gets a 5; the restaurant was clean, and they promptly cleaned tables as soon as they became available. Now, onto the best part … THE FOOD! I went with the supreme option and ordered a few items since it was just me and my baby, opting for smaller portions. - Sweet Chili Wings: 3/5 - Delicious but needed more sauce - Garlic Noodles: 4/5 - Very tasty, though a bit cold - Mild Ramen: 5/5 - Delightful and simple - Calamari: 2/5 - Well-seasoned but a bit stale - Garlic Butter Parmesan Mussels: 5/5 - Finger-licking good! - Rib Fingers (boneless ribs): 4/5 - Marinated well but had a lot of fat - Prime Steak: 4/5 - Could have used a bit more time marinating - Japchae: 3/5 - Tasted different from others I've tried - Rice Papers: 4/5 - Too sticky; usually, they separate more easily Overall, I highly recommend Daikon. As for kid-friendliness, my baby behaved wonderfully; there was so much for him to look at while I ate, and the place wasn’t smoky at all!"

"I heard alot of good things about this Mexican restaurant so today was the day that I decided to see what the hype was about. I've been craving some goooood Mexican food and yes they did delivered!! I ordered the shrimp nachos and the portion size was more than enough. I was able to eat off of it twice and share. I also ordered a few deep fried jalapenos on the side*sorry not pictured* and they were delicious too.I was very undecided on what to order because there was so many eye catching items to choose from but the cashier was a big help. He was very patient and went through the entire menu with me, letting me know about the popular items as well. The portion sizes of their menu items are amazing, not skimpy at all. I was curious about the fish tacos and he showed me the size of the fish that goes in a taco and I was blown away you guys!!! Seriously. If you want a real fish taco this is where you come, no baby fish over here lol. Pura Vida definitely value their customers hungry tummies LOL.Now, let's get into the taste.. These nachos were very much packed with flavor, good shrimp size portions, fully loaded with veggies and your typical nacho topping. The chips used for the nachos got a little soggy but it was expected due to how loaded they were. I definitely recommend checking out this place, if you want authentic filling mexican food Pura Vida got you covered. My overall experience was great and I will DEFINITELY be back"
