"Chose Turtle Jack's from my last positive experience about 5 years ago.The restaurant was not busy. It should have been my first clue. I get the worst service when restaurants are slow. Don't know why.1) Blinds were dusty. I could see where someone had swiped a finger, and that area was now dusty as well. Looking around, I found other areas that were also neglected.2) The hamburger had all the potential to be juicy and tasty but fell short. The toppings were fresh and had the flavour,the patty was dry and warm, not hot when it got to me3) The fajitas presentation had no sizzle because the meat was barely hot, and rice was warm. It's as if the plating was delayed for each item. By the time the food got to the table, everything was just over warm.Did I mention the restaurant was slow?Cost of eating out has gone up, and servers want to be tipped a minimum of 18%. At least try to give a better experience when a customer comes to your restaurant, other than, meh. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star with the hope that everyone was at least trying and I got caught in an unfortunate vortex."
