"Dec 17, 2021 5PM I was early bird, and it paid-off. This medium size Thai sushi restaurant has a dark interior, with nice accent lighting. Main dining tables have overhead spotlight over each table. The waiters appear suddenly out of the darkness. A very nice ambiance. I could see the sushi bar chef in constant motion, but he could see each of his diners wish I took that photo! . Thai Square filled-up by 5:45; dates, friends, small families, all types of people. Forney is the newest Boomtowm near Dallas, Tx after Amazon opened a center near here. Construction all over! 1. Thai Curry Entree: options of meats, options of Panang, Red, or Green curry spice level 1 to 10 . I chose Red curry shrimp, which had mushrooms, beoccoli, red bell pepper, onions. Very good, and plenty of shrimp! 2. Salmon sashimi: very good quality salmon 3. Raw Mango Salmon Wrapped. The name could use some work, but the recipe is awesome! Just like it says, the strips of fresh mango green bell pepper are wrapped in fresh salmon, and placed into a chili and soy sauce bath. Mmmm, good! Not really hot at all. Waitstaff was awesome, stayed on top of multiple tables with ease. I will come back to this great dining ambiance with a very big, eclectic menu! A hidden gem in a strip mall in Forney, Texas along Hwy 80 westbound lanes. The wooden front doors are to the right of business name, at Suite J. Inside, a very classy, and romantic setting. A lot of expensive vehicles parked here, now I see why!"

"I don’t often write reviews, but this place is a real gem. The staff is always kind and welcoming. Both the interior and exterior have a wonderful atmosphere that highlights the building's unique character, like the exposed brick and floor tiles. I've mostly tried their sweet pastries, such as danishes, cinnamon rolls, and various loaves, paired with an iced latte. The pastries are light and buttery, simply perfect. Although their flavored lattes aren't made with house-made syrups, it's important to remember this isn't a specialty coffee shop. Still, their espresso is smooth and definitely better than Starbucks. In my opinion, their true focus and specialty lies in their bakery, and they excel in that area. I would rate it a perfect 10/10."

"It's disheartening to note that it feels nearly impossible to receive even basic decency, let alone good customer service, if you are Black. Unless you actively seek assistance, you might as well be invisible, as staff members often bypass Black customers, including groups of us. Right now, I'm sitting inside the restaurant, waiting for a to-go order that I had to fight to place. I had to remind the staff member who finally approached me that I should be served first, rather than the white and Mexican gentlemen in line behind me. I stood at the podium for about five minutes and even rang the service bell after a minute. When I finally got the attention of the staff, the girl looked at me with disbelief and asked, “How can I help you?” From now on, I'll be making the trip to Terrell for my Thai food. I almost forgot to mention that I found a beetle in my daughter's ice cream! In summary, while the food features decent Thai and Taiwanese snacks, the service and atmosphere are incredibly disappointing. What a letdown. UPDATE (20 minutes after writing this): Despite all the poor treatment, I received my order incomplete and packaged in a Staples bag. I tried calling the restaurant, but I was put on hold and ultimately hung up on."

"You know that feeling when you realize you've definitely overindulged, but the food is just too delicious to resist? That was my experience at this charming little diner in town. As soon as I walked in and saw how bustling it was, I knew I had made a great choice. My over-medium eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was just right, the biscuits were homemade, and the sausage gravy was outstanding. And let's not forget the grits—they were absolutely delicious! It was clear that I had found my new favorite local diner, and I’ll definitely be returning. My server, Christy, was fantastic as well. You owe it to yourself to visit Mama’s Daughter Diner. You won’t be let down!"

"the first time to eat here. while the mile high afteros look good, they were actually dry. there was hardly a queen on them and the “famous” chili was honestly only dry meat. I will say that the little piece of queso I actually had the best queso I had. it was mostly just shredded cheese and black beans. the spiced pommes were really slandered, but the burger of my man was really amazing. I guess he was right “Why would they order afteros at a burgerplatz”. I would definitely go back because of the amazing burger, friendly staff and fast order pickup."
