"Oh WOW! First of all, so excited that this place reopened! New owners have kept the name and same concept. The menu has most of the old favorites but a great peppering of new deliciousness! "We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."

I dread the thought of finding another coffee shop during my travels, and I'm always thrilled to return for my usual order. The baristas—both familiar faces and newcomers—made the transition to Classic Coffee feel effortless, and they consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Recently, Kailyn has been my morning barista, and she always greets me with warmth and laughter, no matter how early or busy it gets. Although there’s a wait until you reach the window to place your order, these baristas know my drink (and my car) so well that it’s usually ready by the time I get there. I love bringing my dog along for his morning outing and treat. I truly appreciate my coffee and the wonderful staff here; they make my mornings brighter."

"I moved in here in November last year and was blown away by the staff, service, food and prices of Vivant. Happy Hour was great! Honestly, it was one of the major reasons I chose The Village at Mission Valley. New management has taken over and the place has gone straight down the toilet. While the service is still good, they have lost a ton of great waitresses and bartenders due to the extreme dysfunction of the owners. Apparently they own some place called The Iron Pig downtown. Based upon the experience here, I will pass on checking that place out. In place of a fantastic operation, we have been plagued with ridiculous prices for bland comfort food and the loss of one of the best amenities this complex had to offer. My Mother visited a few weeks ago and I was excited to show off this awesome amenity. Instead, when she insisted on paying for our drinks, she was presented with a $25.00 bill for a martini and draft beer at Happy Hour. I will drive down the hill now instead. Very disappointing"
