"As always, the food and service at BJs Alliance was outstanding. Not sure if there are less menu options or simply a physically smaller menu with smaller font, but there do appear to be less options than in previous years… The temperature in the restaurant was too warm, which likely stemmed from Texas’ extreme outside temps and a near-full restaurant capacity… but the overall experience was very good as usual!"

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent. The kids loved the mini corn dog meals, while my wife and I enjoyed some well-made mixed drinks served in tall glasses. Our waitress, Sunshine, was very nice, spoke clearly, and was helpful with any questions we had. She was attentive and kept us updated on our food. The music was a bit loud, especially sitting under a speaker, and the lights in our row of booths were flickering the whole time. This was an easy fix, so not really a complaint, just a bit of an annoyance while trying to eat. Overall, we all enjoyed the food and will definitely go back."

"The food was fresh and wonderful! The portions were very nice as well. Our server, Curtis, was extremely nice and helpful when I was trying to decide on a cocktail. I got the Cherry Chipotle glazed salmon was so tastey and I recieved a giant piece of salmon, not just a small filet like at most other places. My husband got the baked ziti and it smelled wonderful. The cocktails were tastey, well balanced and refreshing. We got the Alabama Sunrise and the Titos Strwberry Lemonade. Their Mac and Cheese balls appetizer were the bomb!The restaurant was clean and well lit and the atmosphere was nice. Would definitly go again."

"Highly disappointed. Service was decent, food was terrible. Appetizers came out cold and tasted stale. I ordered the bj’s bowl with salmon, every ingredient tasted microwaved and the salmon was cold and stiff and dry, definitely over cooked. Salmon also smelled really bad. My husband ordered the brussel sprouts, they were dry with no flavor. He also ordered the flatbread pizza and the bottom was burnt and the pizza was cold. Everything seemed microwaved. The waitress was so busy, we sat with empty cups for 30 minutes. We are not new to BJ’s but we have never had such a bad experience there before. "Saturday night, 1 hour wait to be seated, which was fine. They weren't very busy but we assumed they were short staffed. We waited at the bar for drinks and apps. 2 bartenders, and neither one was attentive. Got our apps, no silverware. Annoying, but okay. They did not check on us at all after. Got our table, ordered, and food took over an hour to come out. Had to wait for silverware again. My steak was way undercooked, potatoes and broccoli cold. Shrimp scampi was hot and was good. My husband got chicken parm. Chicken was good, spaghetti was dry and could tell was in the window for a while. Our server was also not very attentive, never even asked about drink refills. Chocolate chunk pizookie was good. Overall, staff was very inattentive and did not seem to care. Several tables were dirty, had they been cleaned and dishes brought back, silverware could've been washed and handed out to customers instead of the plastic cutlery for take out order that they started passing out. "Yummy drinks, yummy food can't go wrong!. BJ's is a family favorite because it's close, it has huge portions and they usually have good service. Only issues I've ever had is with large parties somehow we always end up with the one waiter who has no idea what they're doing.<br/ <br/ Food is fantastic. They used to have this big open faced pot roast sandwich, but they have since done away with it. Now, I either get the parmesan crusted chicken (enough to share! or the soup and salad combo.<br/ <br/ My dad and boyfriend's father are big supporters of their beer. If you like hand crafted, this place is perfect. They also have GREAT hand crafted sodas. I always get a 1/2 cream soda, 1/2 root beer. YUM.<br/ <br/ If you go on your birthday, you get a free mini pizookie (gooey cookie goodness . Also, if you're a frequenter, I highly recommend joining the rewards club. It's free, and super easy to rack up points for free food and off your meals."

"Tavern like Atmosphere with a spacious modern design that gives dinners a sense of privacy while dining. Menu has something for every mood from quick bites to semi-formal nite out. Tried pizza, chicken strips and burgers. Plenty of fresh toppings on the mini pizza and it was plenty for one possibly two. Stingy on the sauce and a bit doughy. Strips came with real mash potatoes and were very tender that came with ranch and requested buffalo and Nashville hot ssuces. Nashville hot had a ranch type base that killed both flavor and eye test.Burgers are top quality beef and cooked to order with very good battered fries. Extensive beer menu highlighted by their signature brews. I tried the Piranha Pale Ale that paired nicely with both burger and pizza. Friendly professional staff with a floor manager over seeing all."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time as a family for our usual Sunday lunch after church, and everyone had a great experience. The only drawback was a slightly overcooked dessert that didn’t quite meet expectations. Overall, we all agreed that this place should be added to our short list of favorite dining spots, as both the food and service were excellent."

"we enjoyed eating and our server was nice. they seem to have a good choice of beer, but the mixed drinks on the bar are sub par or perhaps need to train their bartenders. we had similar problems in another bj 's in alliance continuing worth as we were in southlake. they don't make good margaritas. they tasted like water with a twist of lime and 1/4 shot alcohol. I actually told him politely that I did not believe that they were ready to make the drink and it tasted (usually water.) when I mentioned that it was a little watery, it was rebuilt with a huge amount of light green, chemical tar mixture. I drank it, but it wasn't a great hull. we wanted to order mojitos. they were from mint. it takes 20 30 minutes to get a cocktail from the servers on both places. I have only 1 2 cocktails per week in the round when I come out and this is part of my culinary experience. bj 's has never delivered in cocktail. good pizza but."

"my friend and I have fallen a few months ago at this place for lunch. we sat in one standing and it was very spacious. we ordered the root bear glazed ribs, large white pizza and the Mediterranean chicken-pita tacos. the root beer glazed ribs were babyback pork ribs with a root beer glazing. it came with a side of sriracha cole Slav. it was very delicious. the large white pizza came with grilled chicken, mushrooms, garlic, parmesan cheese and tomato in a Alfredo sauce. the pizza came a little cold, but it was still delicious. the Mediterranean chicken-pita-tacos came in two. the grilled pita came with grilled chicken, tomato, gurken, red tweepers, feta cheese and Greek yogurt. it also came with a side of quinoa. the sandwich tasted good, but I wish it was served hot or even warm. Overall, eating was very good, but I wish some of the items were not served cold."

"BJ came to me and gave a courtesy card to give the restaurant another... they did not disappoint that my teens loved their dinner! Everything was fresh and hot... the free cookie for registration online for rewards was soooo good and the vanilla ice cream thank you so much as the restaurant is great for family, appointments and or a quick lunch. Not happy to leave this review at all! But because I paid for this service, it was necessary. Unfortunately, my first experience was not good, my food came on a dirty plate, the table was dirty. I had to put the cloth napkins on the table. The Devan server was great, but the staff in the kitchen had to be short. My son ate his food because he was literally faded, but his dish was also a little dirty. The manager asked if I wanted something else or some help, she was very apologetic, but my stomach was already spoiled."

"The waiter was excellent. The hostess and or greeter was rude. She was confused on how we booked our reservation. She told us they didnt accept reservations but for parties over 7 and yet are reservation was for only 2 people. Their were only a few time slots open online do we assumed everyone had booked a reservation time slot before us which found out was not true they thought they had to seat us right at 8:15 so they seated everyone else before us where if you have a reservation elsewhere you are usually taken care of first. I tried to explain about the slot choice to 2 different hosts but they ignored me then they wouldn't respond when I asked where I was on the list."

"They make great pizza and have decent Mexican food. They have now changed their name and shifted their focus away from pizza. The Mexican food is still pretty good except for the tamles, those are really dry. I haven't tried any of the breakfast items since they stop serving them at 10 am, a little early for me I think that 11 or noon would be better. One thing that I highly recommend is the Avacado Chicken Hero."
