Toasted bread topped with garlic butter and melted Parmesan cheese for a savory and crispy treat.

"For my first night in D.C., my mother, sister, and I wanted to try out a great restaurant. I racked through Yelp, Citysearch, Zagat Guide, and Time Out and finally decided on Equinox. So happy I did. The ambience was stiff and formal at times. To our right was a group of business diners, impeccably dressed in suits. To our left was a couple celebrating their anniversary. Everyone was well dressed. However, our server was never condescending about the way my sister and I dressed; though my mother fit in with the crowd. And service was smooth and professional throughout the meal. Dinner began with an amuse bouche of cream of mushroom soup served in cute shot glasses and an olive beignet. It definitely whetted our appetites. My mother and I split the seared diver scallops for our appetizer while my sister ordered the special appetizer, which was some type of roe. We all sampled the two. The scallops were amazing. My mother is a fairly harsh critic when it comes to seafood and she found the scallops to be tender and delicious. She also thoroughly enjoyed the roe. My sister and I were silent for the first ten minutes, too busy eating our appetizers. For the main course, my sister had Alaskan halibut filet. It was a good contrast of sweet and savory flavors, which didn’t overwhelm the delicate fish. My mother and I ordered the brined pork tenderloin. She had hers done medium well (the horror! , but I liked mine medium rare. Yummy. Tender and juicy. While I was too full for dessert, my mother and sister split the deconstructed tiramisu. They found it to be…okay. Which is probably why I’m not giving the restaurant the full five stars. The meal came up to about $160 for 3, including tip."

"I thought the wine was very good the service very nice. The main course .. it was not good. For the duck and gnocchi was so awful. It was awful because the gnocchi was mush and not cooked. The shredded pre frozen duck was terrible. Mixed in a big pile something. It was disgusting and could not be eaten. My wife had the roasted chicken and pasta and it was so salty .. it was not edible. The main entrees are the reason I would never go back there again. I realize it's going to take a long time before resturants and cooks recover from all that has changed in the world but still wouldnt go back"

"A new town, food choices....hummm? Was at the REI restocking camping supplies so we decided to just toodle across the parking lot to this restaurant. They brew beers and some sodas as well. The black cherry soda is tasty, a little sweet, but enjoyablejust the same. The Mediterranean Chicken Bowl off the 10$ menu was an excellent choice. Commendable flavor combinations from thered wine vinegar and the fresh cucumber. I forgot to say no tomatoes so I 'm sure that would have brought another pop offreshness to the dish. I couldn 't decide on either the brownie or salted caramel Pizookie. They are both crunchy on the outside, gooey centers, really good vanilla bean ice cream. In the end, I liked the salted caramel best. My son chowed to completeness onthe bacon cheeseburger without complaint."

"Please for the love of goodness, train or have trained, the bartenders. Why was I told the there is not a Gin Martini served on ice? And had to explain the proper glass. Train. Train. Train"

"We came on a Thursday at around 6:30. I had included a request for a table where the table could be adjusted as I am rather rotund (kinda fat). This was totally ignored. We waited for a bit, and I did manage to squeeze into a table. Anyway, service staff appeared right away, had water quickly, and ordered without a problem. We had the prime rib sandwich. It was bland with no seasoning at all. The meat was tough and overcooked and the ajus was all salt. And, as I peered around the room I noticed that the only person that ever smiled was our server. She was great, but all the other workers looked like they weren’t happy to be there. Probably won’t be back."

"The dinner was delicious. I had the Vegetarian BJs brewhouse bowl. Although, I was disappointed with the lack of vegetarian options at this location. There were two different vegetarian meals that were taken off the menu (Vegan Lentil w/Ancient Grains Soup the Kale and Brussel Sprout Salad). My husband and I would have liked some more options."

"We ordered 3 prime rib dinners. The server had to come back to ask us what type of soup we ordered. The three of us were only about half way thru our soup when our dinners arrived. Two of the prime ribs were cold. We sent them back and they were reheated making our medium rare prime rib look an unappealing brown. My baked potato was supposed to come with butter, sour cream and chives and it had none, I received a small ramekin of these items. The baked potato was not cooked thru. I could not smash the interior of the baked potato with my fork. It was not edible. Out of four dinners, three had problems."

"Loved this place! I've driven by it on a number of trips to the area, today I opted to stop for a bite at lunch! So glad I did! Friendly communication at the door and was given the choice of sitting at in the bar area or waiting for a table. I strolled through the bar and found an empty booth! Devin was my server, she was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. Again, being my first time I opted for the Enchantress Pilsner and was not disappointed. The menu had several appealing options and I decided to try a burger....the hickory bacon cheese burger! I was surprised to see it served on two slices of toasted bread....a first for me but it was delicious! Two thumbs up! Great staff and awesome food!"

"Great "happy hour" deals, but that is about it. Everything on their 20 paged menu will about, $20 -at least. In order to enjoy adult bevearges, both my wife and I budgeted on our food order. She had the California Chicken Club and I had the Fish & Chips. The Club was good, I will give them that. The Fish & Chips needed much desired help. Grease-heavy and no where near the golden flaky battery crust I'm accustomed to. We attempted to enjoy the patio, but the road noise (not their fault -really) from I-40 was a little much. However, when it got chilly, they turned on the patio heaters which made the evening enjoyable. Beer was good. Enjoyed the lightswitch lager and Jeremiah Red were really good. If I came back, it'd be for a tour of their beers."

"BJ's serves up delicious food in a laid-back atmosphere. Their daily specials provide excellent value. With a wide range of options from appetizers to entrees, there’s something to satisfy everyone, all with familiar and tasty flavors. We particularly loved the burgers, and their wings and pizzas are also fantastic. Overall, this is an ideal spot for large gatherings with family and friends. We highly recommend it!"

"I occasionally eat at BJs and today was disappointing. Took my elderly mom out for a late lunch. Gum stuck to my foot as soon as we were seated. Chicken Parmesan was over cooked and burnt on the edges. No Parmesan was served with my spaghetti and my waitress didn’t stop by until 10 minutes later. Had to ask for a spoon to twirl my spaghetti. Mom’s calamari wasn’t plated well and spilled on the table at serving. rarely saw my waitress to ask for what was missing from our meals."

"Had a casual dinner here with a work colleague. Our Server was very knowledgeable of both the menu & the many draft beers brewed in house. Kudos to the training done by the BJ's Team. It was well reflected on this experience. Our Server was not kidding when he stated it was a large menu of over 100 food items. It truly is a very large menu with a vast variety of American cuisine. I forget the specific name of what I ordered, but it was a Mahi-Mahi Shrimp based dish in a broth. Outstanding! Never had anything like this before and it was a treat. My colleague, who happens to be from New Orleans ordered the Jambalaya and stated positive things about it. The beer selection was just as good. I appreciated the fact that even though they brew their own, they do not limit the selections to just that. They have many other traditional selections in case you are not into fresh beer brewed right on the property. And they sell a number of their beers for off premise. Overall, this experience was a very good one with good food accentuated by very good food and a knowledgeable and friendly Server who knew just what he was doing. If I have one criticism, put some head in the beers. A real beer drinker does not want a glass filled to the top with no head. That said, this place is a winner!"

"Wings are great, super tasty and always cooked to a good crisp definitely recommend! The only thing is dont count on the side sauces actually getting to you, forget them everytime. Stars based on quality of food ! Keep up the great work!"

"The mozzarella sticks here are the best we've ever had, but today at 5 PM, they were unfortunately sold out, which was a bit disappointing. We ordered the chicken pot stickers, and while we prefer the pork pot stickers from TGI Fridays, they were still decent. However, the sesame seeds didn’t add much, and the sauce was a bit lacking. My favorite beer here is the Tatonka Stout; it pairs exceptionally well with the hickory bacon burger! Overall, this visit was enjoyable, but I highly recommend coming when Natalie is working—she truly makes the experience stand out!"

"Our experience was one of the worst I have ever had while eating out. We showed up with a party of 7, they said they didn’t have a spot for a party our size and it could take 30-40min. We were fine waiting so we did. We were seated after waiting 15min. They put all 7 of us at a 4 person table. This should’ve been a warning to us. Our waitress took our drink order then returned for our food order. We ordered a medium pizza, burger, 3 kids pizzas kids burgers. The waitress returned to say the couldn’t do the burger but could do the kids burger. We waited 45minutes for our food to start coming out. The kids burgers never came. Our waitress left and the waiter took over. He told us they couldn’t make the kids burgers and we had to pick something else. We chose the kids pizza, the waiter said it would be 2min, 10min items later we finally had our food. We wanted to order dessert but the waiter said all the tickets were in the red so it would probably be 30/45min, we passed. They were understaffed but continued to seat people and take orders. The table next took us waited 45min just to order. Management shouldn’t have let them continue to seat people if they didn’t have the staff to handle it all. This would’ve been a 1 star review but the manager comped our entire meal so it is a 3 star review."

"I have been to BJ'S in the past, so that is why I decided to take my nephew here for his birthday. Let me first say the waitress was great having to deal with the poor management leading this location. It started with ordering some drinks sorry were out of those then on to items on the menu, x I had to order due to manager stating they are updating the menu and selections being limited? Sorry we will give you desserts on the house. Then they bring a salad that had the main ingredient left out but I was still being charged for the salad with out the main ingredient. Sorry were out of that too. Service tip: Tell the wait staff ahead of time what you actually have, so they dont have to keep going back and forth to the kitchen then have to tell the customers...sorry we dont have that right now. hours later we finally got out the door. I wont be visiting this location again"

"The Deep Dish Nachos are really good when theyre made how they are described, but they rarely are. We never get the same ingredients twice, random ingredients are missing. Despite this, they are still pretty tasty. This last order had some sparse dry cheese, tritip sort of tossed on top and guacamole, which is supposed to be on the side, was stuck to the top of the box. Everything else was missing. We only get the right recipe about 10% of the time. Were finally done rolling the dice."

"BJ’s has been pretty inconsistent on Doordash. The Mini deep dish pizza (kids item is pretty amazing value for the money and I recommend it. You will basically get a personal pan pizza (think Pizza Hut in the 90s that is very thick, with great flavor, loads of cheese and sauce, and tons of bread. Every time I order it it tastes great, it is cut into 4 slices, and always on of those 4 slices is pretty much all bread, so that loses a point. This time I ordered kids burgers with cheese (upcharge and the usual toppings, but they arrived as just bread and meat, nothing else, and the smallest burger patty possible on each one (about 1/3rd the size of a regular mcdonald’s burger patty for reference. The side salads are huge and well made, I recommend it, good value. They didn’t have the beer I paid for and I received a random replacement. Some times 10/10. Sometimes 5/10 that’s BJs."
