"I've always been a big fan of O Charlies. I end my wife, we have a stressful auto shopping experience and decided to take a break and eat here. It was the best FOOD I ever had!! Everything was perfect. The part that stood most to me was the staff. My server and the hosts played with our son talked about Spider-Man with him, even some web singing! Lucas and Jada were our hosts and they were amazing Lucas checked for me and my family twice during my meal and he wasn't even a server. Ray was our server and she was professional, sweet and all around very tailored to our needs. We were shocked when she said it was her first week's best service I had in a long time from anywhere. Last but definitely not least, Laverne is the manager I believe and she killed it clearing tables, running food, reviewing every customer food and experience. It wasn't one of those scripted talks either it's honest and you could say that they really care about your experience not only because it's their job! A total of 10/5 stars and definitely will be back for this superstar staff. (snaps)"

"This is a tough review to do but its an Honest one.Grand Lux Cafe is all glitz and glamour but is it really? And does the food stack up?Sadly its not and the cooks are not very great. (I explain why)So we started off with the Grand Calimari which unfortunately had barely any Calimari or Zuchinni as mentioned and mostly had shrimp and fried onions. It ended up just being a bowl of crispie flour pieces at the end. The dipping sauces were great and portion size was good but its disappointing to not have many Calimari in a dish thats named Grand Calimari. Still not terrible as it tasted great..The service was also good. I forgot the young mans name but he had dreads and was on the slim side. He was great.But now the bad:I ordered the Beef Wellington which is a pretty big platter but is in no way an authentic Beef Wellington. More like a tiny puff pastry placed on a piece of filet mignon that looked like a kabob. Massive disappointment. Whats worse, I asked for my filet mignon to be Medium. It came charred on the outside and raw on the inside. Horrible. All the pieces were inconsistent too.I returned this and opted for a grilled chicken avocado salad. Huge salad full of lettuce and some sweet vinegrette but barely any chicken. Barely! And it was not grilled chicken. Was cold plain chicken. Horrible and for $16.My brother got a garlic shrimp scampi type pasta. It was a huge serving but... not enough Shrimp! How disappointing. Just a ton of angel hair pasta with cheese and garlic sauce. It was really tasty but cmon .. needs more shrimp!My mom got the Salmon Picatta which was nice despite being very bland. She had to ask for hot sauce..The molten chocolate cake aka lava cake was the best part of the meal.I left Grand Lux disappointed. Its a beautiful place for sure. Def the ambiance in alot of the dining areas fits the name.. but the food is not great and they are stingy with some of the protein.I initially told myself I wouldnt go back but I might give them another chance for redemption.P.s. If they seat you in a booth with a sofa back, that sofa back is dirty and full of stains. I shoulda took a pic!"

"Today was pizza party time for those of us participating in the Dancing with the Stars pool at work. Unfortunately, I ended up in third place because I picked Kelly to win. I thought she would do well thanks to the sympathy votes, but I was mistaken. In any case, I just needed the price for some pizzas. I probably should have made a bolder choice, but I like to pick my battles carefully. I allowed my colleagues to choose the place, and they opted for Ciccero. The delivery was quick, and for the six of us (yes, the five of us who lost had to pay), it was only $8.50 for three large pizzas. In terms of taste and quality, you definitely get what you pay for. Did I mention that it cost me $8.50 including the tip? I didn’t place the order myself, so I can’t comment on the menu options, service, or even if the delivery person was attractive. For the next office pool, we’re going with American Idol, and hopefully, we won’t choose Ciccero again just for the sake of the price."

"I have been here many times but this time this got balls head with glasses was very rude. My fries looks old and I ordered chicken dinner. I asked if they can just charge me for the chicken and not the fries because I don’t like how they look. He replied who should pay for them, I’m not changing the price. You just trying to get something free. So a lady came over and asked what happened I told her she said well he’s probably just frustrated because they been getting complaints a few times today or people not picking up their food. I would sell those all day there’s nothing wrong with them. Maybe to you buti don’t like them full order still on the plate. I said well he shouldn’t be arguing with his customers she replied unfortunately we argue with them a lot. I said that’s not ok. You judged talking want something free. If that’s the case I would have complained snot the whole plate not just fries. People don’t want to pay for the food. Are You kidding me I’m paying for the chicken just don’t want the fries. But, with that being said you don’t talk to people like that. So You gone talk to me bad cause your day messed up. No not acceptable at all!!"

"A heads up: if you don’t have sapphire tier status or higher, be prepared for a long wait during busy times. The line can stretch out the door and onto the casino floor. While the food is decent, it’s not worth such a lengthy wait. Fortunately, we can skip the line due to our higher tier status, but if you don’t have that advantage, be ready to exercise a lot of patience. Once seated, the staff is friendly and courteous, but like many places, it gets incredibly loud inside, making it hard to hold a conversation while you eat. Generally, the food is accurate and fresh, and the coffee isn’t bad. The pastrami hash is flavorful, although quite fatty, as they clearly use the point end of the brisket for it. The chilaquiles were just okay, but surprisingly, the best breakfast dish I had here was the simple bacon and eggs. I haven’t tried the buffet, but it seems to get good reviews. To sum it up, if there’s no wait and this type of restaurant appeals to you, go for it. Just keep in mind that you won’t experience anything extraordinary here, and the prices are higher than similar places off the Strip."

"Whether you are ordering takeout, delivery, or dining in, be prepared to thoroughly enjoy your meal! We have been customers for nearly 20 years and can safely say we have yet to be disappointed. Catered meals have been delicious, pizza has the very best sauce and cheese, and entrees always on point. We absolutely love the chicken marsala, and chicken martini. Don't worry about needing to adjust your order (i.e. no onions, thin crust, etc) because they will gladly accommodate you. "I’ve never had their food, but… here’s a message to the owners, and I saw another similar review- PLEASE STOP sending one of your workers around the neighborhood every few months to leave a menu placed on top of every single apartment and houses doorknob. They end up just falling off of every doorknob onto the ground, nobody picks them up and throws them out, and they just become litter and blow around throughout the neighborhood. Every few months I open my door and a Ciccero’s pizza menu falls off of my doorknob to the ground in front of me. I then have to pick it up and walk back into my apartment to throw it out as I am trying to leave. I then continue to walk to my car/start driving away, and see Ciccero’s pizza menus scattered/littered all over my neighborhood. @owners- don’t you know It’s not 1970-1999 anymore, and nobody holds onto paper menus these days? Take the money you’re using for this debacle and look into a modern way to get customers. Literally ANYTHING but littering your menu everywhere would be a better idea."

"Now onto the food: we started with a spinach and artichoke dip, which was delicious. My dining companion ordered the butter garlic shrimp pasta, while I opted for the braised pot roast. The pot roast was incredibly tender, the mashed potatoes tasted homemade, and the steamed vegetables were perfectly cooked. The pasta was also tasty. However, both dishes had a bit too much salt; it might be better if they reduced the seasoning slightly and allowed customers to add more if desired. I also felt that the portion sizes were a little small for the price, as I counted only about five shrimp in the pasta. I appreciated the opportunity to try the restaurant, but I noticed that not all the items on their website menu were available. Given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, I understand that changes may have been necessary, but it would be helpful for the online menu to be updated to reflect the current offerings and pricing."

"it's a little pricey but in my opinion worth it. the food is nice big portions and fresh. i got the lemon chicken piccata lunch special and it was really tasty, nice and light, filling but not too heavy. the best dessert on their menu is the warm buttercake. they claim they make it right when you order it and it tastes like it too! one of my favorite places to go for a lunch date with friends."

"**Date: 11/6/2023 - Permanently Closed** O'Charley's has a reputation for offering consistently good food, catering to a wide range of tastes. It's an excellent spot for a meal with friends, offering a menu that appeals to everyone. Throughout our visits, the food has always been well-prepared and reliable. However, during our latest visit, my wife's rice was a little undercooked and crunchy. Just as she noticed this, a manager came over to check if everything was satisfactory. When my wife informed him about the rice, he apologized and promptly went to address the issue in the kitchen. A few minutes later, he returned, acknowledged that the rice did not meet their standards, removed the charge for her meal from the bill, and provided a replacement dish that was correctly prepared at no additional cost. This level of customer service is impressive. I highly recommend giving them a try! **Previous Visit Reflection: 5/21 for the 3-Course Special** During our previous visit, we enjoyed the 3-course special, and the food was abundant and well-prepared. Our waitress was outstanding, making it a worthwhile experience. **Update as of 9/27/2023:** The food remains good but has lost some of its uniqueness. The cup of soup has shrunk to the size of a small coffee cup, and the blackberry cobbler appeared mostly syrupy with very little fruit. Additionally, the menu options have been reduced since before the pandemic. I have some concerns about these changes."

"I decided to give this restaurant another chance after my previous visit, where we waited to be seated while they prioritized another party with the same number of people. I almost said something but chose not to. This visit was for my birthday, and while the food was excellent, our server constantly confused our order. It became quite embarrassing. I paid using Google Pay, but they claimed I hadn't paid yet, which made me wait longer than expected. Eventually, I canceled that payment and paid in cash instead. Clearly, there was something wrong with their system. After too many negative experiences, I won't be returning. What a birthday it turned out to be!"

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"It took really long to get any kind of service. We had to ask for water. Our actual drinks came only when our food arrived there, although we just ordered Sangria and a soda. The worst thing is they don't let us share the bill. You said, regardless of the party, it's an invoice per table. My husband is on a business trip and so his part of the meal is to be paid on his business card. And they refused to do that. I even asked what if the people on the table are not related and the server said that this is for them to work, we only do one driving time. It was really uncomfortable and I don't think we'd return. Pizza was fine. Not bad. But the other things didn't make it worth it. We also went there from Canal and there was no great experience. If you try them, I'd suggest Uber or Lyft or drive myself."

"On entering we were told there was a 10-minute wait, even though the place only appeared half full. After being seated our server introduced himself and his accompanying trainee. When asked about vegetarian options he stated that he had never had a vegetarian request in that restaurant. It seemed to be a bold-faced lie and not something to say in front of a trainee. He then said he would check with the kitchen. After waiting for his return for about 5 minutes we decided to leave. Our party went to another restaurant which provided us with excellent service and food."

"This place is a hidden gem with delicious pizza but let me start with the service. Service was amazing, the owner was very helpful, polite and very nice. My favorite pizza was the Meat Signature Pizza it has pepperoni, canadian bacon, sausage, salami and the best of all was the pieces of bacon that got me, the bacon is actually well cooked bacon not like other places that you?ll get soggy half cooked bacon, my second favorite pizza was BBQ chicken pizza and if you like barbecue sauce you?ll definitely like this one, the third favorite pizza was the Tuscan pizza and the last which don?t get me wrong it was also very good but personally my 4th pizza would be Santa Fe chicken pizza. "6-30-22 UPDATE: I updated my review to 4 stars based on receiving contact not just from the restaurant manager (Karen W. , the response here, but also a response sent from corporate through the restaurant. I feel like after speaking with the manager (who called me, listened, and was very sincere in trying to make amends for what happened , that O'Charley's does seem to actually care about its customers, which goes A LONG, LONG WAY, considering so many other places do not. So, the response I ended up receiving will ensure that my family and I definitely give them another chance. First of all, one of my entire steak dinner orders was missing when my daughter got home with all of our food. Second of all, my steak was supposed to be cooked medium and as you can see from the pic, it was almost well done! It was so dry and disgusting. I will not be ordering from Ocharleys again as this was not the first time this has happened and the restaurant does nothing in terms of customer service. I’ve “left feedback” after every order and have never gotten a response from the restaurant or anyone at corporate, so here it is for everyone else to see. Overpriced, tasteless, poorly cooked food (and they somehow manage to leave our entire meals from your order ."
