"Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The inside is kind of small, tight, and warm but has a homey kind of vibe. I ordered a shredded chicken/luncheon meat fried instant noodle (menu item D from the middle specials menu on the wall) meal set with a lemon ice tea and baked meat sauce spaghetti. The lemon ice tea was perfectly sweetened, but I wished the drink was a bigger size. I thought the shredded chicken/luncheon meat fried instant was very good, but the proportions of the dish was kind of small. The baked meat sauce spaghetti was fine but nothing spectacular. The service was generally friendly.Overall, I think the dishes taste good, but I wish the sizes were bigger, which it's not bad for the price considering that it's SF. Important to note that the restaurant is cash only, but they do accept Venmo as an online form of payment."

"Treasure of the Treasure Coast. Fabulous food, good value, courteous friendly service. This is your basic mom/pop strip mall Jamaican foodery. IMHO, this place was the best dining experience during my stay in the area. The spinach/crab appetizer is a must. Other menu items that my party ordered included the seafood paella, coconut shrimp, shrimp kebabs, and cheese fries. The seafood paella was wonderful and fresh. Seasoned just right. the coconut shrimp were crispy and delicious, and the kebabs were very good as well. They came with a really tasty coconut grit cake which was oh so good. The cheese fries catered to one of our children and came out with lots of cheese. She loved it. The guy in the kitchen here knows what he is doing. A real artist. Don't visit the area without trying this place."

"Miceli's is just the most perfect little side street Italian restaurant just off Hollywood Boulevard. It's REAL Italian, not manufactured. The food is terrific, the ambience is perfect, if you want a simple, great Italian meal this is the place to go. We met there with a cousin from the East Coast who we hadn't seen in many years, and it was fantastic. We ate, drank, talked and there was no pressure on us, it felt like our own family owned the restaurant (it was a Monday night, and there wasn't anyone waiting or we would have felt more need to hurry). Prices are incredibly reasonable. I am an Italian from New Jersey, and this is one of my two favorite Italian restaurants here in California. It's just like being home. Try it, you won't be disappointed."

"We had a reservation for Easter brunch at a restaurant where a face painting event was taking place. We arrived late, but the management was very accommodating, especially since the place was nearly empty when we arrived. We were seated right beside the lady doing face painting for kids, which was cute. The adult food menu seemed to be exceptional; I ordered the lobster brunch (lobster and shrimp benny) and my partner had the salmon brunch (westcoast benny). While the lobster and shrimp were a bit hard to detect in my dish, overall the food was very good. The hashbrowns were soft, not greasy, and delicious. However, my child's mac and cheese was disappointing - he took one bite and left it. The server seemed a bit under pressure, perhaps anticipating a busy day, but she did check on us during our meal. We didn't stay long after finishing our food, but the atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was clean. While the food was good, I expected a bit more for the price. I would recommend the restaurant, but it's not likely that we'll be returning in the near future."

"My husband and I attended a conference at the Diplomat hotel and happened to come across the R Bistro. We walked in on a Thursday night and it was karaoke night. We had so much fun listening to the entertainment. But the food was absolutely delicious . The lobster bisque was to die for. They didn't skimp on the real lobster pieces. The soup stayed hot for like 30 minutes. We loved the calamari and the beet salad. The cheese raviolis were so good. But our favorite was the escargot. The staff was so personable and friendly. We were sitting directly next to the owner and didn't even realize it until after the meal when he asked how it was. It was a surreal experience. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back."

"We have been getting takeout seafood from the Lobster Boat in Litchfield almost once a week for the last few months and the food is always fantastic. The staff is very nice and the restaurant always looks spotless. Just one suggestion: while you do have fried mushrooms, have you considered offering stuffed mushrooms with crab and wine stuffing. While in Merrimack, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms at the Lobster Boat in that town and they were the best we ever had. Meanwhile, you can count on us as regular customers."

"I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, cheesy toast and a salad. You are better off buying a spaghetti TV dinner. the pasta was so over cooked it was chewy and gummy and there was little to no sauce and three pieces of meat. I ended up using my own canned sauce because there was just no sauce. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"I can't give a zero rating, but I would if I could. We chose Pasquales because it had good reviews. We should have read the bad ones.We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and had noted the reason for the celebration on our reservation. We were seated in the corner of a noisy area with two large tables. The waitress, while nice, was so busy that she rarely checked on us. My husband ordered a steak that was terrible: grissly and under cooked (definitely not the medium rare he had ordered). When the waitress was finally close enough to our table so we could catch her attention, she took the steak back. She changed it for a better cut of steak, but rushed it so much that it was rare inside not at all what my husband wanted. My pasta was fine, but tasteless. The garlic bread was dry and not garlicky. When we paid our bill, the owner didn't ask about our dinner or our experience she didn't seem to care but she made a point of happily welcomeing people who she seemed to know.We eat out often, tip well for good food and service, and return to our favourite places. We like to try new to us restaurant. We were hoping that Pasquales would have become another favourite. Our experience was terrible and we will NEVER go back."

"The service was amazing! I ordered a meal that came with a baked potato. The potato was so small even the waitress made a comment. When I said something she immediately went to the Cook put swing to her that that's all they had was small potatoes and they gave me a second potato. I certainly wasn't expecting that. I feel like that was above and beyond. My meal was great. I will definitely go back there next time I'm in this neck of the woods."

"Ill start with the good, I didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was super cool about it and had us seated in about 30-35 minutes. Now the bad. The food is absolutely flavorless, my chicken parm had no seasoning and the breading was soggy, even the parts that weren’t touching the sauce and had no reason to be so, the service is sparse and obviously doesn’t want to be there, and I will never come back. This is a place you take people to try to show off how much money you can spend, spent 140 on 4 people and would have rather gone anywhere else. Im pretty sure I’ve had better food from fazollis."

"We stopped at Maria's Italian Kitchen on our way home from Hollywood, and we were thrilled that we did. This charming little restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and delectable food. We particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with creamy pesto sauce and the lasagna. We also ordered sides of broccoli and Brussels sprouts. The bread served was light and delicious, and they kept it coming. The gentleman managing the restaurant that evening made sure every table was attended to promptly and that everyone had everything they needed. Our server was polite and checked in on us just the right amount. I was truly impressed. It's been a long time since I've had homemade gnocchi that tasted so wonderful. I highly recommend Maria's Italian Kitchen."

"I work here Am waitress and I love it! Now to Miss Denice Smith who wrote that lovely review I would just like to clarify when your order came out wrong I asked if you would like me to have it fixed and get what you wanted and you declined. Accidents happen and I apologized. You then ate it all! I know I checked before ringing you out, once you got the check you said you aren’t paying for food you didn’t order. I did take off the drinks which are $3 and $4 for your appetizer now do that math my lady?? You were rude by far the rudest person I have encountered. For not ordering something you sure ate it all! And then wanted it comped! So your review is as pathetic as you are Said what I said. Great Diner and usually customers are fantastic sometimes we get rude ones who want free food."

"There were three of us. An LAPD Sr. Lead Officer, a representative from the Los Angeles City Counsel. The Officer has a limited time therefore had only a glass of water. The waitress was the antithesis of the service and demeanor that has always been a hallmark of The Hamlet. She was rude, pushy and unreasonable on EVERY level. The Officer and the City rep asked only for water. I had an Arnold Palmer. The server gave us menus. We explained that after he left we two would order. That didn 't deter her from returning every few minutes to ask about our order. Perhaps it 's relevant to say that when we arrived there was ONE party of two in the entire restaurant. ONE. So it wasn 't like there was a line out the door for lunch. For the better part of a year I 've been having lunch at 1pm EVERY WEEK. And there 's NEVER been a line of guests waiting for seats. NEVER. Moments, I mean less than a minute after the Officer left the waitress returned, asked for our order and told us, make that lectured to us that we couldn 't sit there unless we ordered. Without raising my voice I told her she was rude and pushy. That he had said that once the officer left we 'd order. Then she took a different tack. She said she was just checking back to see if we were ready to order. Ready to order? after the Officer was barely in his patrol car outside your front door. I told her to look around and tell me if property were waiting for tables to be available. Of course there weren 't because it was a typical Wednesday lunchtime at the Hamlet. 40, 50 maybe even 60% but absolutely no more. A few minutes later she returned, we ordered pea soup and cornbread (my all time favorite soup whether at a Hamlet or at the now departed Kate Mantillini 's on Wilshire at Doheny). The City rep and I commented to each other how ridiculous the scenario had been. The bill was paid and we left the table. Perhaps she was having a bad day. We all have a bad day but that 's no excuse. Your thoughts?..."

"Have eat at a lot of places that start out good, then after awhile get where it isn,t any count anymore. Not the case here. Have eat here several times. Usually, found it to be mediocre, however this time i found the food excellent. Short wait time between ordering and time it came to my table. But the most amazing part was the service. Since post covid service seems to be a thing of the past. Sometimes I leave without tipping ,because no service. Not this time the service was outstanding. Can't say enough about how good it is to have a waitress that actually works and does her job well. Caylee was the waitress,s name, Hope I spelled that right. Thank you, you were amazing."

"Stopped in with my teens yesterday after school to grab them a pizza and grinder and to say hello to the owner. The guy with pony tail and ear buds looked at me a couple times while making a pizza and that was it. He completely ignored us. Did not greet or even say be right with you. Nothing for a good 15 minutes. Left and probably won’t ever go back in the day time. Night shift can be busy but the lady and team are very friendly to me and everyone else! especially with the crazy night club scene."

"Doogers boasts a diverse menu featuring sandwiches, pasta dishes, burgers, and of course, an array of seafood entrees—which is what drew us in. We began our meal with their outstanding clam chowder, which was full of real chunks of clam (not just the clam-flavored broth that some places try to pass off as chowder) paired with a rich broth and potatoes. It was absolutely delicious! Since my wife wasn’t overly hungry, she opted for the loaded baked potato, which she enjoyed. I ordered the fish and chips, choosing cod, although salmon and halibut were also available. It came with tasty fries, Texas toast, and a salad. The fish was flaky and tender, coated in a delectable, light batter. Our little one had a hamburger patty along with some of our clam meat, and he loved it too! To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a great-tasting Red Scottish Ale on tap. If you're seeking a family-friendly restaurant (or even if you don’t have kids), make sure to visit Doogers! You’ll experience excellent service, wonderful food, and a relaxed atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Our overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable. However, we did notice some minor issues such as small bugs near our table. There were only one or two of them, but they were present throughout our entire meal. Just thought you should be made aware of it."
