Crispy crust, buttery center, and rich garlic flavor, perfect for a savory bite or as an appetizing side.

"This place has great BBQ and service. The cowboy burger is my favorite. Their loaded spuds are very good. Corn bread with honey butter,,,, gotta try it. Brisket and tri tip sandwiches are good value. So far have not been dissatisfied. Thanks! Came back on 5.26.2024 this place is the real deal. Ordered a Cubano and Boss sandwich, a couple of piggy Mac's! So e cornbread and a couple beers. They really took care of our party of five. The food is incredible here. Thank you All. "I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was looking for a family-friendly restaurant or coffee shop, but everything seemed to focus more on coffee spots like Dietucks and Scooters. However, I found this gem just a few miles off I-80—it was definitely worth the trip! The place has a charming small-town diner vibe, and even though the building seems a bit dated, it was clean and well-maintained. Tommy's was quite busy, and the food not only looked delicious but also tasted great. They prepared the dishes exactly as I had requested, which I really appreciated. The prices were fantastic too! It’s a lively spot with a great atmosphere—definitely a place to keep in mind."

"For drinks, we ordered iced tea, Coke, and beer. Our appetizers included lobster bisque, calamari, and CJ crab cakes. For our main courses, we tried the Captain's Combo served with white rice and red beans, Fried Lobster with a side of spinach, and a Seafood Puttanesca that we requested to be extra spicy. We shared everything, and we were utterly amazed by how delicious and rich our meals were. The Captain's Combo was blackened, savory, and smoky, with just a hint of mild spice. The Fried Lobster was perfectly seasoned with a crispy coating, while the Seafood Puttanesca was bold, flavorful, aromatic, and indeed very spicy. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service. We left feeling very satisfied and will definitely return for another visit."

"I reached out to you to share my thoughts on the restaurant. Despite its appearance, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Although the walls have been revamped with colorful and new designs, it still holds onto its nostalgic and old charm. I may prefer some changes, but the memories and feeling of this restaurant still resonate with me."

"Great food. Great service. I did not get the name of the waiter but he was great. I would not say the ambience was energetic, it was loud. Iâm hard of hearing with Macy mod but loud sounds or loud. I made it work and it was fine."

"Overall, the food was decent. However, we’ve definitely had better ribs at home. The donuts were undercooked in the center, but after being there for two hours, we didn't have the energy to send them back. The staff was friendly, but the service was extremely slow. It took 25 minutes just to receive our drinks, and our salads and appetizers arrived before that. We appreciate not having any plans afterward!"

"My wife and I were looking to celebrate our anniversary. After looking at a bunch of menus we decided to dine at the Glass Nickel. We missed our turn and were circling the block when we saw Scott C driving the pedal bar. Yelp friends in the Green Bay area will remember Scott. It was great to see him, and he's doing well We were greeted by a very sweet waitress, who gave us excellent service throughout our experience here. We had an appetizer (raviolis) and ordered our meal. I love a good calzone so that's my choice. My wife ordered a vegetarian lasagna and a salad. Beer selection was great so we got beers, too All of our food was stellar, Best calzone in a long time. My wife said her food was really, really good. Bottom line excellent food, excellent service. A good choice for our anniversary. If you are looking for a cozy place to dine, this is it. A wide variety of Italian style dishes. A great place that can accommodate vegetarians and vegans. They do have vegan cheese that can be added to a myriad of dishes Although it's a 40 mile drive to get here, we will definitely return to try their pizza."

"It is not the first time i ordered tres leches cake, this time it was delicious and FRESH! the fruit was amazing and FRESH! ... I gave 4 stars because I ordered the round cake about $60.00 but since it is tres leches the majority of the cake was missing the leche . Dont take me wrong.. the cake was delicious, but it is a cake, because the only part wet with milk was not even an inch of the bottom of the cake. I assume this happened because it was a round and elevated cake? ... Domingos... you are the best."

"I visited V’s Sunday for a birthday brunch from noon until 2pm and about 6;30 that evening I started feeling really bad. My throat was killing me, couldn’t swallow and my face was aching I went to the doctor and they said I had strep throat. I ask if you could get strep from food and she said yes if the food was contaminated. I won’t be visiting V’s again or eating anyone’s buffet."

"A Great Pizza.. Barone's has always been a great place to eat, back when there was a Barone's in Toluca Lake we ate there alot when I was a kid that place closed abut 20 years ago. When I was older I went to Barone's on Ventura Blvd. alot it was close to House of Billiards and some of the cool places on Ventura that are not there anymore, neither is Barone's they moved a little North to this new location otherwise Barone's is every bit as good as ever. The Pizza is one of my favorites, the crust is excellent, the cheese is real good and plentiful, the toppings and ingreience are all top shelf. he pasta dishes are also good, I usually get pizza. The atmosphere is your textbook family style Italian resturante, they have live music, a great staff and the Monteleone family has been running it since forever maybe even before, Idonno but what I do know is this, GO! This place is more Godfather than Soprano's if you know what I mean?"

"Make a reservation in advance. They don't do Open Table or anything else online so you will have to use that thing in your hand to make an actual phone call to a real person. REQUEST TO SIT INSIDE. If you are seated on the patio, you might as well dine elsewhere. You are coming for the experience, not the food. Good luck getting seated in the main room (that is for the A listers or regulars) or at the tiny bar which fills up the minute the restaurant opens. But do ask to be seated somewhere inside. This is a fun restaurant. It is loud and casual. It is filled with long-time regulars who feel perfectly comfortable hugging the servers, and tourists. That's about it. I saw many people dressed in shorts, t-shirts, and hats. That's not how I would dress at a restaurant like this (you don't have to dress up) but you can come as you like. Is the food amazing? No, it is not. Are the portions massive? Yes, they are. Get the chicken parmesan and split it (for an extra $10) with your dining companion. It is massive and has enough melted cheese to satisfy you for weeks. It is a perfectly fine, good dish. It comes with a big side of spaghetti in meat sauce. The garlic cheese bread is good, too. It is listed as an appetizer but you get complimentary bread at the start of your meal anyway, so order the garlic cheese bread to accompany your entree so you can dip it into your sauce. Martinis are well-made here. They are good and strong. My first one had two olives and the second had one. Was it something I said? The servers can seem gruff but really, they are grizzlies on the outside and teddies on the inside. Don't be so sensitive. Show them some humor and you will be fine. This is an old school place that oozes charm. The food isn't 5-star but you should still come for the fun, lively scene."

"We had a wonderful dining experience for our last night in Boston. Our hostess Stephanie(kudos for her service in the marine corps) was great and the manager came to ask if we liked our food. Can’t say enough about the hospitality we received . Wonderful service and wait staff. Food and drinks were great and reasonably price. We finished our meal compared to the North End the night before. Highly recommended for anyone who wants great food and service!!!!"

"tonight, the experience was extremely disappointing! I have a pick-up order of 15 o'clock for a pick-up for my son 5th birthday party dinner. my laws went to get the food for me just to not be given our 25 cut pizza and said that I never ordered it and it wasn't her fault. the first question I had when I called was “what is the biggest pizza they have” and then it was about to order a 25 cut pfefferoni. the owner was very rude for my mother in law, said it was not her fault, refused to apologize and did not care that we were disappointed. we order literally from gianellis a few times in the month and it is my child's favorite pizza. when my mother-in-law told the owner that we will not be back, the owner said: "It is her loss." we eat cold food, as we had to wait until our pizza is made and also had to pay for their mistake. extremely unprofessional and rude! bad business safe! we will definitely give our business to another restaurant that will value their customer business."
