"I did not make a purchase for a specific reason: it's Friday and I wanted to treat my employees to some baked goods. As I was driving down Victory Blvd, which isn’t my usual route to work, I noticed a bakery called Anahit Bakery. The strip mall it was in looked a bit intimidating, but I thought I’d give a local business a chance.
Upon entering, I found the place empty, with three women in the kitchen. I greeted them, and one woman came out, looked at me with a rather unfriendly expression, said hello, then asked me to hold on before turning back into the kitchen. After waiting for about 3-4 minutes without any further interaction, I found the service to be quite lacking. Perhaps I’m just not the type of customer they cater to?
Their selection of baked goods was also disappointing for a Friday morning; it seemed like they were already sold out of many items. I jokingly thought they might as well have pigs rolling through the shop! If you enjoy being ignored, this is definitely the place for you. Without hesitation, I left and drove a block down to Dad's Donuts and Bakery, where everyone greeted me with a cheerful "good morning" and a smile. Now that's the kind of service that makes a difference!"
