"I ate here at lunch time. I was the third table to come in and sit, with two servers working. Initially, service was great, I was greeted and my drink order was placed. I was given ample time to look over the menu and the server was good at answering any questions I had, I placed my order and waited. My server brought out the onion soup that I ordered, which was barely heated, bordering on cold. Then I proceeded to wait 30 minutes for my food to come out, with 2 servers working and being the 3rd person seated. I ordered a sushi roll, teriyaki chicken with white rice. By the time I received my food, 4 other tables had been sat and received their soup/salads/drinks. When I went to eat the food I had been waiting for, I found the rice and the chicken were both cold. The sushi was the only pleasant part of the dish. I told my server about this problem and was offered another bowl of rice to compensate for the rice being cold but nothing was done about the chicken. When I asked what happened I was told that the plate had been brought from the back to the sushi station to wait for the sushi to be made which is why my food came to me cold. I do not like to complain about food or the service and typically I chalk bad experiences up to someone having a bad day but this was exceptionally difficult to do considering this was my first experience at this establishment. I enjoyed the sushi very much and it was extremely tasteful. I just would have liked the food that was suppose to be hot to be hot."

"Next, we ordered crab rangoons served with a sweet chili sauce. They were perfectly fried and incredibly creamy inside—so good that we really didn't even need the sauce, although it was delicious too. For our entrees, we couldn't make up our minds, so we decided to sample a little bit of everything: shrimp lo mein, volcano roll, Hawaiian roll, king crab roll, spicy scallop roll, and Fuji roll. We were blown away by all of it, but the standout was the king crab roll, topped with spicy krab salad and baked scallops. The chunks of king crab inside were massive, fresh, and flavorful. The Hawaiian roll was the most unique; it was quite sweet and topped with thinly sliced mango. We would definitely order that again, as I’ve never seen anything like it on any other menu. The shrimp lo mein featured large shrimp and was a generous portion. The deep-fried Fuji roll was perfectly crispy, with a great tempura texture and no greasiness at all. All of the rolls were generously drizzled with delicious sauces on top. We will certainly be returning to try more, as we were impressed with every single item we ordered. Our server mentioned he was new, but he was very attentive and did a fantastic job. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, simple, and spotlessly clean. My only complaint is that the booths on the left side are a bit small compared to those in other Gainesville restaurants. Next time, we plan to sit at the bar to watch the sushi chefs in action! Their rolls are truly artistic. We were absolutely amazed!"
