"Service is not good. Food was good I went with My family to eat as we was there our server did not come to us or even check up would have to flag down to get a refill which they charge again which is not a problem. But not only the server the staff that kept refilling the food while trying to move out there way one of them said move instead of excuse me again tried to make room let them by also at the end while trying to pay even tho I feel like a TIP SHOULD BE EARNED ON SERIVCE I was still tipping and the server didn't like his tip and stood next to me till I gave him more and even asked me where's the tip even tho he seen there was already one there but he walked away with a 40 dollar tip for no service just bringing. Drinks smh. Again food was ok but the service of that waiter and staff was not good server/staff putting food in host was ok no issues"

"I Travel 3 weeks a month. I love trying new Restaurants. So, I’ve got mixed Reviews of this one. A little expensive, not easily accessible unless walking, Dumplings we’re 50/50, House Fried Rice I added Steak for an additional cost bc for some reason, In the Northern States, House doesn’t mean, Steak, Chicken Pork! Like the Southern States, it definitely needed salt or some sort of seasoning, even extra Soy Sauce wasn’t enough. The Sauté Spinach was excellent, just needed a little salt, of which I didn’t have! Getting your Food To Go you’ve gotta remember to ask for everything! No Sweet Tea, I’m definitely a Southern Girl!"

"They have decent Chinese food. I placed an order with them for New Years Eve, $200. I figured since this place only does Chinese takeout they would be able to handle the high demand on New Years Eve. I called my order in at 1pm… for a 7pm pickup. At 7 pm I was told to come back at 9pm and my order (might) be ready then… meanwhile they were taking more phone orders as I am standing there being told my 1pm-phone-order would not be available for pickup, 2-hrs after it was meant for pickup! Totally unacceptable! They should know how many orders they can accommodate without over extending themselves. I canceled my order at 8pm…their failure to pace their orders messed-up my families New Years Eve dinner. We scrambled to find an alternative for takeout food, we settled for Pizza… never again will I order from #1 Taste Chinese"

"There’s nothing particularly “new” about this restaurant. The food remains mediocre at best. The one-star rating comes from the two people running the place, who have personalities that are about as exciting as a grape! I really want to support local businesses, but now I understand why I hadn’t visited in a while. The woman seems to look down on customers, and the man lacks any expression at all—I've even seen him with his finger up his nose. This will be my last attempt to give them a chance. I recommend going somewhere else, folks!"

"Fairly pricey for the area. Most disappointed that they added a mandatory gratuity (service charge) for our party of 4. When asked if this is standard or why, they just said because you guys ordered a lot of food .So the penalty for giving them more money is a mandatory gratuity, interesting.Dim sum was standard, fairly greasy and loaded with sodium and MSG. Our group was thirsty for the rest of the day! Better to just drive towards Quincy for the options there."

"I was very pleasantly surprised and happy to find that Ming's grows some ingredients themselves in the back of the store which is just so groovy. I saw an employee watering the plants yesterday or the day before and so today I decided to prove further.I've taken Mandarin for 6 years now (some of middle school and highschool and college) and I'm very passionate and have so much love for the Chinese language, culture, country, and especially people. I've admired all things Chinese ever since I could remember as a little child. I even ran up to an elderly Chinese woman when I was 3 or 4 years old and called her Grandma!!! Haha.Anyways, those are side notes, but anyways, I just thought this was very eco-conscience and progressive and authentic and just wicked cool and even tho I work across from Ming's down the street, I didn't really consider it due to how small it was and not much seating and I just hadn't seen the reviews or the garden. Like this restaurant seems like possibly a local gem now to me!This peaked my interest for the restaurant and then when I went to post this I saw plenty of really great reviews so I def am going to check it out now! Can't wait!Anyways, I mentioned my interest in Chinese language etc because realized that I could learn more about China by capturing pictures of the different plants I didn't know and using those pictures to identify on Google what they are. There were a couple different plants that showed up but from what I can tell there is a fig tree and laurel that is new to me and I read articles about how they use it in Chinese cuisine and how. And it was just a nice little adventure for the day and I'm very impressed they try to utilize eco-friendly, and locally sourced ingredients.I hope they continue their efforts growing these plants and are able to even make it more extensive. And they should def promote it because it just is rlly cool."

"The restaurant was fairly empty when we were here on a holiday week. There were more guests within the bar area than the dining room so we had our choice of tables. The menu is varied. There were typical Chinese dishes like beef and broccoli, chicken with black bean sauce, lemon chicken, and lettuce wraps. There is also an extensive sushi menu. My niece, who has a tiny appetite, ordered both the California and spicy tuna rolls and ate them both (a rarity). My brother had the chow fun, which he wished contained more noodles. I liked the orange beef I ordered, coated, fried beef in a flavorful sauce. Note that rice is available as a side (for an additional cost). The restaurant does a brisk takeout business, as well. Our server was new and did a great job."

"Arrived right on time for our reservation but had to wait minutes to be seated in a half-full restaurant! Service was extremely slow and had to try to catch the waiter as he ran by whenever we needed anything Food was average at best. Only dined there because we were staying at the hotel next door for a graduation and didn't want to have to drive to dinner. With all the amazing restaurants in Boston I would never go here again I'll sacrifice and drive or take a taxi elsewhere!!"

"First of all, the place was incredibly clean, and a staff member was always attending to the buffet, ensuring everything was tidy. The level of service was just right—attentive but not overbearing. The buffet was also very reasonably priced! The food was delicious and moist, and I absolutely loved the variety on the menu. I can't wait to go back for the Lobster with Ginger Scallion! Overall, we were really happy with our experience! The buffet was EXCELLENT, and I truly don’t understand why it has a rating of only 3.9! The prices were great too! If you have the chance, definitely try the lunch buffet—it’s fantastic!"

"I wish I could give this place a lower rating. The meal was one of the worst I've ever had. They mixed up my order, so I called to let them know, and the person on the line said they would call me back—I'm still waiting for that call. The fried rice was plain white with just a few ingredients, while I had ordered the deluxe fried rice with scallops, shrimp, and chicken. Instead, it felt like they were trying to send me some kind of fried chicken. It was dry and tasted old. Overall, it was just terrible."
