"Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the abundance of memorabilia adorning the walls. It felt like I was a tourist on vacation, snapping pictures of everything! The venue boasts a spacious bar area, along with both indoor and outdoor seating. They also play a diverse range of music from different eras, featuring artists from the Beatles to Metallica. It’s a fantastic spot to visit for a fun time. We decided to share some Buffalo wings and a personal pizza, which was more than enough for two people. Additionally, there’s a designated area for cornhole, complete with sand that gives off a beachy atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience!"

"The environment was great. Exactly what I would expect from a rock themed restaurant. The menu had a great selection typical restaurant food. The beer and drink menu was phenomenal! Sadly the quality of food was sub par. We started off with jalepeno poppers. They looked so good. Nice big poppers with what looked like an in house made crust, you could see the seasoning in it. If only you could taste the seasoning. They were bland, and dull. I know you can not predict the spiciness of a jalepeno, but that wasn 't the issue. The crust had zero flavor, and the cream cheese lacked anything other than cream cheese. I disliked the sauce that I came with but my husband like it so take what you want from that. I ordered the pulled pork with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. On first glance it looked great. But sadly, the bun was burnt, the pulled pork was beyond sweet, I would not call what they served me coleslaw by any means, and the fried were soggy. My husband had the tri tip tacos and only said he wasn 't impressed. My son had macaroni and cheese, as basic as you can get with what looked like kraft out of a box, and my other son had the appetizer boneless chicken wings which were decent. There was a band setting up while we were there but we had to leave before they started. Other than that, great beer, sub par food."

"I was excited to try Rock Brews for the first time for KC Restaurant week, that quickly changed after arriving. I’m not sure what this was about but when I walked in the guy Dan who would end up being our server was standing behind the bar talking to another employee. He looked right at me but did not come over to greet me until another group walked in, I was standing there at least 2 minutes alone. He walked up and continued to act like he didn’t notice I was standing there before the group after me walked in and asked them how many were in their party. We all told him I had been waiting already as if he didn’t know. The rest of my party showed so we were seated and Dan served us if you can call it that. He was short and rude, seemed a little off honestly. He was not at all attentive to our table and seemed to be put off when we asked questions about the menu or other things we needed. At the table he also seemed to continue to ignore me specifically just as he had done when I was waiting at the hostess stand so I still have no idea what that was about, I can speculate though. The food was good but I don’t think I will be back due to the poor service I received."

"The ambience is great and super convenient location if you're going to an event afterwards at Cal Expo. Food was really good. Servers were super friendly. Unfortunately, not well managed. A party of 90 was there and they were very understaffed in kitchen and waiting staff. We waited 30 minutes for a drink. Then the wrong app was delivered to our table. We had to wait 45 minutes for our apps. We gave them our credit cards right away so we could pay and it was taking so long since we had to get to the soccer game. Probably wont go back."

"We came on New Years Day. They were understaffed because some employees did not show up. Food was just ok, but took over an hour to get to our table. Manager did comp a couple of dishes, be we were lucky to have the amount of time for everyone to eat. By the way, there are really no reservations there."

"This place clearly has the ability to be great and we wanted to love it, but the food and overall experience was just Meh.... Service was slow and it took a while to get our food. They must have been short staffed and needed to buss tables but no one was around to do so. Fries and appetizers were the best part but the burger was not as good as we were expecting based on other reviews. Also, my daughter ordered a BLT with no avocado due to an allergy and it took three times for them to finally get it correct and the rest of us were finished by the time she finally got her food. They did give us a free dessert due to the error but unfortunately the bread pudding came out cold and not prepared properly. However, at this point, we weren't going to say another word ? I am going to give the benefit of the doubt and chalk this experience up to the restaurant having a bad night. Hopefully if we go back it will be a better experience."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I found the food to be quite good—definitely up to standard. However, what truly stood out to me was the atmosphere. They were playing an array of vintage music videos from the 60s and 70s, showcasing songs I didn't even know had videos, which made the experience really enjoyable. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the coleslaw was the worst I've ever had—dry, bland, and served in a very small portion. That said, this is a minor issue and may have been a one-off. I will definitely be back!"

"R&B has always been a special occasion place for me, so we decided to go for Fathers day. We were seated immediately, in a booth like we like. Music was playing, golf on the TV 's, great ambiance. Everyone was friendly and nice. Only a few downsides ... sad they no longer sell FULL SIZE pizza 's. The wife and I use to go and get a large pizza and enjoy beers ... only individual pizzas now. They changed something with the potato skins, my wife use to love those but say they have changed something and they do not taste the same. We tried the loaded Tator tots, I think they are new on the menu, they were OK , the tots were a little overcooked ...FRIES ARE STILL THE BEST. Service was very slow ... our waiter was very nice and always had a smile on his face, but took a bit of time for everything, watching I can see why ... too many trips, people next to us asked for napkins, he left to get them, had to reach over my beer to get them, instead of grabbing it and brining it two, half as many trips ... he grabbed the napkins, brought those over, went all the way back to get my beer ... if this goes on all night .... LOL I still enjoy going there, the ambiance, the beer selection ... bring back full pizzas, bring back the Yellow Submarine, bring back the original recipe Potatoe skins. Until next time ... ROCK ON!!!"

"THIS WILL BE OUR LAST TIME DINING HERE. We always choose this restaurant when we visit the Casino, but that’s about to change! During our first visit, the pizza was so greasy that we needed a roll of paper towels to soak up the excess before we could eat. On our final visit, the Ruben sandwiches were hard as a rock, and when we opened them up, we were shocked to find that the meat was overcooked and shriveled. We won’t be coming back again."

"New Years Eve was our 1st time here and to the Casino. I was thrilled at how well the Yaamava band is doing! I picked up their Pow Wow magazine in the lobby. Beautiful pictures, informative articles and interesting people that were interviewed, very well done! Palm's Hotel? Hell yeah!Back to Rock and Brew. Renegades of Rage(Rage Against the Machine tribute band) lead singer, Johnny, informed us of the great New Year's Eve concert for them and In the End(Linkin Park tribute band). The restaurant check in hostess crew were very polite and willing to answer our 1st timer questions. Bar staff was super busy, but very attentive and friendly. Buying tickets or picking them up will call took entirely to long. I could have gambled a little before the concert started, but not after an hour to pick up our tickets. I think they were training a new hire. The sound system was awesome and great job on the video and lights too. I didn't care for the bar hight tables in front of the stage but I stand right in front of Johnny singing anyways. We met a cool couple that took up the front of the table that was right behind us. Had a great time with Danny and his wife! Of course like everywhere else, the drinks were expensive. We didn't eat. They hubby had two beers and bought one for the lead singer too. Again, great job on a New Year's Day by the bar staff. Renegades, rocked the house. A mini pit started and security shut that down real quick. I personally don't mind a pit breaking out right behind me, it's the risk you run if you want to be front stage! But, I understand why security can't just let it jump off. Some overly drunk fool will loose their balance, go down, get stepped on and then try to sue. I get it, I get it! Security staff did a great job and was respectful and I witnessed several of them singing along. Glad they had a good New Year's Eve even if they had to work! Renegades was freaking great, as always. In the End brought out an even bigger crowd that kept security staff front stage and they broke up a couple of mosh pits before they got out of control. If you have never seen either of the bands, look then up and check them out. If you get the chance to check out any band at Rock and Brews, don't hesitate and it's more affordable than a real big concert venue. We'll be back! Thank you for hosting my favorite tribute bands and for being so professional!"

However, we've noticed that the ice cream sometimes tastes like it has freezer burn or isn’t fresh. It’s a bit hard to articulate, but it has a somewhat stale quality that impacts its creamy texture.
