"The restaurant features a TV playing Thai karaoke DVDs, which I thought was a fun touch, although it could be a bit distracting at times. I didn't mind the vintage TV, but a larger flat-screen would have made it less intrusive.
Overall, the decor was lovely and well-lit, with drapes adorning the windows, creating a cozy Lanna vibe. It felt like I was dining somewhere unique even though I was still in Sacramento. I appreciated the small, intimate setting of the restaurant, and the staff was wonderful. I consistently received excellent service from a particularly hospitable waiter who always made me feel at home.
While I didn’t have the chance to be served by the waitress, I did observe her interactions with other customers, and she also demonstrated great service. On a side note, I witnessed the waiter kindly allowing a homeless person to use the restroom, which is a rare gesture given the common “restrooms for customers only” policy. This act of kindness really touched me, showing that they genuinely care about people."
