"Our experience at Aroma Thyme was incredibly disappointing. After researching restaurants in the Hudson Valley area and watching videos on YouTube, we were excited to make a reservation. However, upon arriving at 5:00 for our 5:30 reservation, we were seated promptly but were left waiting for our food for over an hour and a half. The service was slow, with our waiter forgetting to put in our order for an appetizer and serving the wrong entrees. The food itself was mediocre, with burned bread and an inedible steak. Despite the kind gesture of removing these items from our bill, the overall experience left us feeling let down, especially since it was my husband's 70th birthday celebration. We decided to skip dessert and left a lower tip than usual, as we were unsure if the wait staff pooled their tips. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant dinner."

"This is my second visit to Abigail’s, and unfortunately, it has been a significant disappointment once again. The quality of the food is at best mediocre. Yesterday, a group of us ordered the salad with grilled chicken for lunch, and the chicken was nearly inedible—it's hard to tell if it was undercooked or something else. The lettuce was difficult to cut and chew as well. To make matters worse, the waiter presented the check without inquiring whether we wanted coffee or dessert. Given that this was a business lunch, it was rather embarrassing regarding the quality of the food."

"We were there for the Stylistics show and it was great!! We reserved premiere seating, but I think anywhere in the theatre would have been great as well for less . For dinner, my husband ordered the kakiage tempura and the togarashi pork chop and both were outstanding choices. I ordered the Gindara miso marinated black cod (highly recommended by our waiter) as my main entree and it didn't disappoint. The cod was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall, I give Yoshis a 5star."

"Absolutely the BEST hot chocolate in Columbus! It was so delicious that I drank about half of it before I remembered to take a picture. The coffee is excellent as well. Café Phenix is more than just an espresso shop; they offer a wide selection of homemade pastries, soups, and sandwiches—be sure to try the Croque Monsieur! They also have quiches and salads. The service is always warm and friendly, and you'll likely meet Gary, who is a delightful conversationalist and a talented barista. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, but you can usually find a meter within a block or two away."

"We dined recently at Vernick Food Drink at the recommendation of a collegue who recommended the 'toast ' section of their menu. The upstairs, where we were seated, was very busy and quite noisy. But the vibe was upbeat and fun. After getting drinks squared away, we decided to order a couple of the shareable dishes (there were two of us) and then see how we felt. But, our server, a nice young woman, seemed to be very deadset in having us order a very expensive entree which we honestly didn 't really have an interest in ordering. It almost got to the point where we felt like she was giving us an ultimatum. The fresh oysters were delicious as was the tomato toast and the crab toast. We loved the special crudo and the mussels. The food is extraordinary. I just wish the service had been a little more accommodating. For a $250 check for two people, I should hope that the server would not try to force us to order in a way that we didn 't feel comfortable."

"Right off the bat, I was glad to see they paid attention to my note on OpenTable. I needed a table where we could park my daughter’s stroller without blocking anyone, and that’s what we got. The food was delicious. Everyone loved what they had. The service was fast and our waiter was attentive. The tables are really close to each other. I get why businesses do that but it would have been a more comfortable experience with more room. Still, you can’t beat the delicious food and the great service."

"ORGANIC! I do not want a glass full of glyphosate or paraquot concentrate, so when I am too busy to juice my own vegetables, I rely on Flavor Juicery. They have the freshest cold pressed fruit and vegetable juices I have ever found in this area, or anywhere actually! You can get super food add-ins, sandwiches, and other nutritious foods as well. When anyone in my family is sick, it's my first stop for ginger turmeric shots and carrot and beet juices. I know the juices will be fresh and healing."

"The ambiance of Mika is great- the space is large, airy, and super minimalist. The colors are all in a cohesive white/neutral- very hygge if you're about that. The food and drinks were pretty mediocre and quite overpriced. We got the wagyu cheeseburger and takoyaki along with a fruit tea and chai latte.Their wagyu burger was really dry. The patty was overcooked and super small and the bun itself tasted stale. There was no buttery taste or sweetness to balance out the meal. There was some sauce, but truthfully it was so flavorless it didn't help.The takoyaki was better- the balls are super small but there were small pieces of octopus inside and sauce that kept it from being bland.The drinks were largely mediocre. The berry drink tasted like a less sugary very berry hibiscus and the chai latte was foamy but ultimately not super flavorful.A fun place to hang out- but the dining definitely takes a hit if you want to actually eat here."

"Love this place for their innovative ingredients and seasonal specials! The blueberry matcha special currently going on donates $1 to support a local NGO working toward climate justice, not to mention the compote-y blueberry sauce they use is super yummy. Get their koji egg sandwich on a croissant. Croissant is perfect texture, eggs scrambled beautifully, and the mirin eggplant flavor combo is on point. Their menu isn’t cheap, but you’re getting quality ingredients in every bite and slurp. Check it out if you’re in the Central Square area! Traffic gets pretty heavy especially on weekends, so recommend getting there earlier in the morning."

"Owner needs to invest in real management. The style of business is not sustainable and this great low key spot will eventually close like other poorly managed failed businesses on moody st. Employees are not required to know even a little bit of English which makes small requests impossible to accommodate. Also what seems to be their most popular item (empanadas) is not available to purchase 50% of the time. I really liked this place when it opened but with each recent visit I'm less and less impressed and very close to giving up on supporting this small business. Hoping positive changes occur in the near future. Food still tastes great."

"My family and I visited this restaurant specifically for the hot sauce and kombucha. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge stocked with a variety of delicious vegan salads, all with clearly labeled ingredients. The staff members were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They identified their products as "beegan" because they incorporate honey, and also mentioned that they offer bone broth made off-site. Additionally, they have a policy where customers can bring back their used kombucha bottles from other retailers in exchange for store credit. We tried the kelp noodle salad, which was full of flavor and simply amazing. The macadamia pesto was also quite delicious."
