"Love this place for their innovative ingredients and seasonal specials! The blueberry matcha special currently going on donates $1 to support a local NGO working toward climate justice, not to mention the compote-y blueberry sauce they use is super yummy. Get their koji egg sandwich on a croissant. Croissant is perfect texture, eggs scrambled beautifully, and the mirin eggplant flavor combo is on point. Their menu isn’t cheap, but you’re getting quality ingredients in every bite and slurp. Check it out if you’re in the Central Square area! Traffic gets pretty heavy especially on weekends, so recommend getting there earlier in the morning."

I love 1369 Coffee House because of their coffee and pastries but also because it is locally owned and not a big chain.

The spicy egg is my new favorite breakfast sandwich in Boston! Staff is very friendly and the food/drinks came out quickly. View menu

Ordered a decaf espresso but I got a cafenated latte. (Yes I made sure the order was for my name. My pastry was also missing.

So many bright mornings writing against a deadline with the help of a strong Americano. The scones are out of this world. Thank you for staying in business and allowing this gentrified neighborhood retain some memories. View menu

Went in right as it was closing cause I didn’t know better and a sign read “blueberry matcha [drank]” and I Couldn’t resist Very good. And went to a good cause as $1 from drink sales went to donation. Then I was gifted some bagels because it was end of day This place is ran by saints !

My favorite local coffee shop. Staff is always kind, coffee is phenomenal, food is great and they support our community. Go here instead of the chains down the street. Love this place. My only feedback is I wish they had more vegan or non-dairy options with their food and pastries. My partner is lactose intolerant and often struggles with getting food here. Other than that this place is top notch.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
