"the restaurant was appropriately socially distant and the surrounding noise when eating was nice. the unfortunate part of the experience was eating. three of us four ordered the new yorker strip dinner. only one of the steaks was properly prepared. the waiter did not ask how the meal was or check it back next to the delivery of the bill. that is regrettable because it was an otherwise very beautiful evening. the cocktails were well prepared and the wine was very good. the discussion within the table was that, because the restaurant implements a 20% service fee, there is no longer a drive to ensure that the dining room experience was excellent or at least the value of the meal. subduing service and eating will be the cause for the last trip to wa frost."

"I will say that our waiter Jeff was awesome professional......... That being said, they are obviously under staffed, and the kitchen was so far behind; we waited 2 hours to get our dinner, and once we did, the ribeye that I ordered medium rare, was more like a dry medium Plus.....I had them take it off the bill, which Jeff was more than accommodating...... So I think I am done with Vinter Grill...... But if you do go, be sure to ask for Jeff for your waiter."

"As it was a cold night we ate inside at a table near the front of the restaurant. Since there was no front door and the restaurant was open to the street it was cold. They had heaters above us...but they did not keep us warm enough to remove our jackets. It 's not relaxing eating dinner in a winter coat. They need to make it a "real restaurant with a front door NOT a breezeway between 2 buildings. But worse than that our table was by the 2 doors on the side of the 2 buildings and those doors kept opening closing at least 100 times while we were eating as the food came out of 1 door (the kitchen) and the waitresses kept going into the 2nd door (a market) to deliver food or supplies. These opening closing of doors every 30 50 seconds was VERY disturbing and made any enjoyment of dinner IMPOSSIBLE! This is NOT a romantic relaxing experience for dinner we 'll never return even for a FREE dinner. The food was greasy and nothing special for the high prices. They need a chef that knows how to design cook appetizing meals. We 'll never return because of the noise of the doors opening closing every 30 seconds and the high price for greasy, fried food."

"I have had many a memorable meal here, so when friends were coming into town and staying near, I thought that this would be a great place. I had not been to Pound Pence in a number of years. While the ambiance was nice enough (although the music was a little loud when we first arrived , the food wasn't spectacular. The the tuna nicoise that I had was overcooked (not my requested medium rare, but, rather, medium and a little tough and overdressed. (Note to self: Ask for the dressing to be on the side. I did not ask about my friends' meals, although they didn't say anything about it either way."

"Don 't go here for dinner. We went on a Thursday evening and it was empty. Nevertheless, it took the bartender FOREVER to make 5 cocktails: 2 Cosmos, 2 vodka sodas, and a wine. The lone server on duty excused the wait, by saying we do CRAFT cocktails. Horsepucky. These were easily mixed drinks that any busy bar could whip out in an instant no muddling, infusing, or hocus pocus required. We then tried to order food. Oh, we 're out of that and Oh, that 's no longer on the menu was the refrain. Well, I 'm reading it, so it 's on the menu (which is dated less than a week ago). Maybe it 's craft food, too. We decided to cut our losses, pay for the drinks, and split. Then the server discloses that she is the manager and is comping our drinks so we don 't have a bad experience. Too late. And the manager is the only server? This place must be fixing to go sneakers up. We left a good tip for the bad bartender and got out of there fast."

"I recently attended a special Mother's Day Brunch Buffet at this restaurant and have previously enjoyed their dinner and lunch offerings. The variety of dishes exceeded my expectations, with each one ranging from okay to stellar. To my delight, every dish at the buffet was fantastic, making it the best buffet experience I have ever had. While the desserts were not as outstanding as the savory options, they were still enjoyable. This restaurant has now become my go-to for special occasions. Highly recommend."

"The atmosphere was clean, but the lighting made it difficult to see the menu. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but it was tough and lacking in flavor, almost like eating shoe leather. I was hoping to get some pepper, but I wasn't informed that they were out, nor did anyone ask if I wanted a substitute. On the plus side, I enjoyed the fries. However, I'm not sure if I'll return. I was really disappointed, especially since it was my daughter’s birthday and she is vegan; I had hoped for more vegan options. Unfortunately, no one seemed willing to help with that. The meal was a bit underwhelming, but at least the company was enjoyable."

"our usual place was closed so that we decided to come from elizabeth’s. the collection section of their website has no vegan cheese listing, so I decided to give them a call, was immediately put on a 5 minute stop. ok, no big thing. I finally had to confirm that vegan cheese was actually available for take-out elements (makes sinn), so I placed my order and was told that the pizza would be ready in 10-15 minutes. it might have been, but I wouldn't know because she was finding something from an alpt room (after the signs in the shopping center took me to a flur that was blocked by terrace furniture. it would still have been okay, but that's why it's not: 1) while the pizza was perfectly edible, it was nothing special, and it was most certainly not worth the $21 I paid for only 12 inches; 2) they have absolutely zero vegan meat tips that is only bizarre if they offer two vegan cheese options; 3) I’m just now out of other reviews and their toasttab menu that it seems to be a vegan crust for $2.50 extra, the infuriates me for initially are the only crusts listed on their website simple, honey-wheat and a gluten-free, no mention of a vegan. Secondly, I have to ask myself if this special vegan crust exists at all, or if it only invites you extra for the back of it. the pizza dough is universally made with flour, water, yeast, salt and maybe some sugar and olive oil all vegan ingredients. if there is actually a vegan crust, why do they charge an extra $2,50 for it? and why not mention that someone ask for a simple sauce, vegan cheese and no meat?"

"The food was fantastic, except for the vanilla bean crème brûlée, which didn't seem to be made with fresh vanilla beans. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service; I didn't realize it was apprenticeship night at Caprice. I shouldn't have to ask for a steak knife with my filet, nor should I be left guessing where the oil or butter is when bread is served. My waitress struggled to open a bottle of wine, and when she finally placed the wine cooler in front of me, she just set the bottle down and walked away. Although a more experienced waitress stepped in to assist, it wasn't quick enough. Overall, the service felt more like what you would expect in a sports pub than a restaurant of this caliber. It's disappointing that such a high-quality restaurant wouldn't hire or properly train staff to match the excellence of their food."

"I was told I needed to go down and try the breakfast sandwiches at Bare Bones Cafe. I grabbed a friend and we made our way over to check out these goodies. Once I was there I began to ask about the menu. It was then that I was told I also needed to try the Chorizo And Egg Breakfast Tacos with a lime sauce. Not knowing what to do, we ordered both. Bare Bones build your own breakfast sandwich The breakfast sandwich is a killer deal at just $3.95. For a small cost you can add pretty much anything to your sandwich. We chose to add grilled onions and a sausage patty. I have no idea what kind of bread she uses for these sandwiches, but it’s incredible. It is slightly thicker, when grilled it maintains it hearty texture and it crisps up perfectly. I am very picky about my bread, but she has chosen a great base for whatever you decide to create. Our sandwich was great. Th"

"June 30, 2024: An authentic little taste of Europe here in Reno. I had the curried chicken salad on a croissant with a side of potato salad. Both were excellent and I appreciate the cookie that was added. The menu boasts quite a selection of breakfast and lunch options. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying several other things. July 5, 2024: Today I tried the Weinerschnitzel. It is made with chicken here instead of veal. It is dry and paper thin see picture. It is served with mixed vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, and carrots), with a choice of potatoes or spaetzle. I ordered the spaetzle picture below. My only other experience with spaetzle was in Switzerland where it was awesome. It's just ok here. Go with something else..."

"I'm giving this restaurant a one-star rating. After making our reservation, we found out that the café was closed for the day. Neither OpenTable nor the café informed us of this closure. This is typically a good place, but there was a lack of communication about the closing. It was frustrating that we had to wait before ultimately going somewhere else to eat."

"Our server was new but was super sweet and tried her best to give great service. We were there to relax and have a good time so we were not in a rush. Food was good as always though one of our desserts (chocolate brownie) was dry and hard suggesting it was rather dated. We sent it back and got tiramisu instead. Server was kind and traded it no questions asked Only thing to improve would be managing reservations a bit more... I know the night was busy but we did make a reservation and were seated minutes after our time which was frustrating since that is why we made the reservation; so we didn't have to wait. Besides that, the night was great ð"

"This place truly has everything going for it! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is some of the best food you'll have anywhere! They are very accommodating and allow dogs on the patio, they also serve a menu with food and treats for pets. For those who have Celiac and gluten intolerance, they are extremely knowledgeable and very willing to help break down for you what's safe to eat on their menu. The Caprese salad was fantastic, as was the Pesto Chicken Pasta, and the Salmon filet with shrimp. The family finished the evening with some mint chocolate cake and said that it was delicious! One of the best meals I've had in a very long time!"

"Amazing restaurant. Everything was delicious. The cote de beouf (for two) was cooked perfectly, and actually has a dry-aged scent unlike some other places that have dry-aged cuts. Plus, the two bone marrows it comes out with are a really nice bonus. The lobster risotto was fluffy and filled with lobster flavor. Minetta burger was definitely one of the best burgers around. One of the priciest, but definitely worth it. The only downside was the filet au poivre, which was cooked beautifully but was too peppery (despite au poivre being a pepper sauce, it was still overpowering). The chocolate souffle was perfect. Crispy top, fully bottom and the rich bitter dark chocolate was perfect for after a heavy steak meal. Definitely recommend this place. Though it's less of a french restaurant and more of a high-class steakhouse, it's definitely my new go-to for steak."

"What a wonderful experience eating at Harth last night. The ambiance is remarkable. It's quiet (there were few diners . The service was stellar. The food presentation was lovely and the meal was piping hot (I really detest cold food! . I think it's a great place for a date night and is much less crowded than most restaurants in NOVA that are overrun w people, especially on a weekend. It's like a little-known gem in this overpopulated community. It's in the lobby of the McLean Hilton so there's plenty of free parking. You really have to try this place. You'll love it! We will definitely be back."
