"As it was a cold night we ate inside at a table near the front of the restaurant. Since there was no front door and the restaurant was open to the street it was cold. They had heaters above us...but they did not keep us warm enough to remove our jackets. It 's not relaxing eating dinner in a winter coat. They need to make it a "real restaurant with a front door NOT a breezeway between 2 buildings. But worse than that our table was by the 2 doors on the side of the 2 buildings and those doors kept opening closing at least 100 times while we were eating as the food came out of 1 door (the kitchen) and the waitresses kept going into the 2nd door (a market) to deliver food or supplies. These opening closing of doors every 30 50 seconds was VERY disturbing and made any enjoyment of dinner IMPOSSIBLE! This is NOT a romantic relaxing experience for dinner we 'll never return even for a FREE dinner. The food was greasy and nothing special for the high prices. They need a chef that knows how to design cook appetizing meals. We 'll never return because of the noise of the doors opening closing every 30 seconds and the high price for greasy, fried food."

First visit. Food was very tasty and service was great. My only complaint is that the tables are in an open patio and even with the heaters overhead, it was uncomfortably cold during dinner.

Fortunately, we were served chickens. twice the first cooked from a vegetable on a meaty grill. the second (our free substitute salad) with large chicken meat pieces. the manager was extremely apologetic and tried to help but clearly the chefs don't care.

Sweet butter is so charming at night! that was amazing. we shared the sommes, cacio e pepe and the steak frites. all divine. I also loved our sommelier! I tried a few weepings that I would never have ordered if he hadn't come by and let us taste a few different wee before ordering. definitely my favorite place to eat in sherman oaks. View menu

Great restaurant! Had such a great evening, ordered the ginger beef wontons..tasted like beef samosas..could’ve been a little better..the steak frites were the best but my husband ordered the garlic rosemary chicken but didn’t like the portion size was too small and didn’t enjoy the goat cheese bread that came with it! But enjoyed the cute ambience and bestest service ever!! Food could’ve been a little better...cant wait to come again for breakfast :

Cute venue, but unfortunately had a bad experience for dinner with overall service from waitress and Sommelier. Prior to ordering appetizer, and dinner, I wanted to order a glass of wine, and had already picked out. The waitress let me know that they have a Sommelier that apparently is fantastic, and he will check if that particular glass of Chardonnay that I wanted was available. Of course it was not! I had a second in mind, and that was not available as well, but of course the higher priced ones seem to be. I asked for a taste of another in similar price range, and tasted horrible! He than, never came back b/c he was too busy giving several tastes of wine to another table across of me, and...

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
