"As it was a cold night we ate inside at a table near the front of the restaurant. Since there was no front door and the restaurant was open to the street it was cold. They had heaters above us...but they did not keep us warm enough to remove our jackets. It 's not relaxing eating dinner in a winter coat. They need to make it a "real restaurant with a front door NOT a breezeway between 2 buildings. But worse than that our table was by the 2 doors on the side of the 2 buildings and those doors kept opening closing at least 100 times while we were eating as the food came out of 1 door (the kitchen) and the waitresses kept going into the 2nd door (a market) to deliver food or supplies. These opening closing of doors every 30 50 seconds was VERY disturbing and made any enjoyment of dinner IMPOSSIBLE! This is NOT a romantic relaxing experience for dinner we 'll never return even for a FREE dinner. The food was greasy and nothing special for the high prices. They need a chef that knows how to design cook appetizing meals. We 'll never return because of the noise of the doors opening closing every 30 seconds and the high price for greasy, fried food."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"I've been coming to this restaurant for many years, and I believe it's the best place for pizza in Chicago, right in the heart of Chinatown. Today, I tried a unique dish my friend suggested that I didn't even know was on the menu: stuffed pizza with sauce served on the side. Essentially, it has a top crust with tomato sauce you dip into. Eating this feels like a combination of a calzone and deep-dish pizza. On the positive side, it's a crispy pizza; however, on the downside, it can be a bit dry without tomato sauce inside. It's not something I particularly enjoyed, so I think I'll stick to the deep-dish or thin crust on my next visit, but it's definitely worth trying at least once for the experience. The atmosphere inside is bright and lovely, with beautiful decor that really uplifts your spirits. It's nice to see people enjoying their meals and having a good time with family and friends. The service here is also fantastic; you feel like you’re being served by family rather than just staff. My recommendation for this place has always been a resounding yes. It’s definitely worth a visit!"

"I really like this pub. I went here with an old friend to catch up and get some beer.<br/ We tried 5 for $20 apps from the Basket Bites, which is a great deal. We each got one giant pretzel and split some edamame, crunchy nacho cheese sticks and deep fried pickles.<br/ <br/ Everything was great. The pretzels were huge and I would go back just for a pretzel and beer after work some time (a pretzel on its own is $5). The pickles were tasty, edamame tasted fresh, and the nacho cheese sticks really surprised me. Think mozzarella stick but instead of regular breading it was like crushed up nachos... So good! <br/ <br/ The service was great and this is a cute little place. I'll definitely be going back."

"The Pretzel Crusted Chicken Tenders were disgusting absolutely dry and with a super weird flavor. The homemade ceasar dressing tastes nothing like ceasar dressing. The Fried Pickles are giant half sour monstrosities with no taste. The Sweet Potato Fries and Curly Fries were soggy and SAD. The Mozzarella Sticks were clearly freezer burnt before they attempted to fry them. The Build Your Own Burgers were actually good I will say their burgers are quite good. Nothing else was even remotely edible. The service was actually VERY good so that 's what won them the two stars."

"I want to start off by saying we had a very good time, food was good, service was very good, drinks were good. Our issue was one of lack of information when booking on open table. INFO THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL COVER CHARGE TO GET IN EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST EATING. We made reservations for my birthday due to the great reviews we found. In LA area from East coast, and came across this restaurant. Did see a show starting at 8, our reservation was 7:30, and did see notes that table reservations required dining/bottle service. Nothing was noted about the $30 per person additional cover charge to get in to pay $150 more for dinner and drinks. There wasn’t anything else around, and we ended up being allowed in to eat, as long as we left within 2 hours. Turns out this was a special event (again not noted on open table or when we called the restaurant), and tables were set up like a prom. Food was the menu food, service again was attentive, show started late so we were barely there for any of it, but what we did see was good."

"The wife and I decided to dine at any restaurant during Restaurant Week as a last hurrah before welcoming a child into our lives. We ended up here because reservations were available here as opposed to all of the more desirable restaurants. Decor is modern and neat. Live music for the night was nice, both audible but unobtrusive Pros: Friendly staff, helpful despite slow food service. Large and delicious desserts. I would recommend the crab chowder Cons: Just about anything I tried to order was unavailable. Slow service despite the restaurant being pretty empty."

"I had a fantastic time enjoying my Bloody Mary paired with a Spotted Cow chaser. Even though the restaurant was bustling, the staff remained polite and attentive. "They went above and beyond! I planned a surprise lunch for my friend and had mentioned that in my reservation. I put in a special note asking if they could write a birthday message on their creme brulee. It’s not something they normally do but came out with it anyway! "I went in search of a juicy burger, and I got exactly what I was looking for. At its core, this place is all about burgers and fries, so if you keep your expectations simple, you won’t be let down. The service was just okay—like many restaurants since COVID, they seem to have trouble maintaining enough staff for smooth operations. Additionally, the burgers were cooked inconsistently, which was a bit frustrating; they often take them off the grill when they're a bit beyond what you might have ordered. "Well, I was told of this little place and that it was quiet. It was... But the reason may be is its $11.00 for a beer. I think if they could charge you for a menu they would. Its VERY pricey! People sit at the bar and you are ignored if they dont know you. Parking is bad and the Police are always at the ready to make sure you only had a club soda!!! You know what I mean! No internet. Almost like a throwback when the establishment could care less if you were there, A lot of homeless people with service dogs using the restroom. I sat for 15 minutes at a table away from the bar. "Our dining experience had its ups and downs. I ordered the salmon, which was quite good, and the chef was attentive to my dietary restrictions. However, two of my companions ordered hamburgers, and they were a letdown—bland and lacking flavor, with limp fries and tasteless bacon. Another friend tried the fish fry and thought it was decent. When the waitress inquired about our meals, my husband voiced his disappointment with the hamburger. "I have to say, "WOW!" perfectly captures how amazing the food was. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The truffle fries were great, but I found that the truffle aioli and ketchup, while not bad, actually took away from the fries a bit for me. As for the classic Boeuf burger, it felt like the obvious choice for my first burger at this place, and it did not disappoint. It was simply a really good burger—nothing earth-shattering, but it was a classic done to near perfection!"

"Parking was OK, but get here a bit early to be sure to get a space. Bar has decent selection, food is pretty good too. We did not have a table reservation but we were directed to lounge seating by very accommodating staff that made us feel welcomed andtaken care of. Sound was good. Stage lighting needs upgrading. Monitors around the place were set to variety of sports and notof the performance. Super bummed about that. Staff said they are working on getting cameras directed at the stage. When theperformance can be watched on the monitors that's when the lighting will be an issue"
