"We had heard excellent things about Tandem…and we were not disappointed! It was family weekend at Carolina. We took our freshman daughter and our younger son to brunch there on Sunday. My Smiked Salmon Benedict was to die for! My husband ordered the BLT with egg sandwich and fries. My daughter ordered the shrimp and grits. And my son had buttered grits. He’s the picky one… Ha ha Ha! All of our food came out hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive and accommodated our extra requests quickly. We even arrived about minutes earlier than our reservation time. The hostess was very accommodating and found a table for us within minutes. It was a very busy day for them, but you never would’ve known it. Service and Food were excellent!"

Space is industrial-food is very "clean and fresh" I would say their cooking style is to let the ingredients speak for themselves. However, this does not make it incredibly flavorful where every bite is superb. Good food nothing special View menu

It's not often you find a restaurant where every item you order is perfectly executed and well designed. We had cocktails, appetizers, salads, entree and dessert... And everything was worth returning for alone. While Tandem is not an inexpensive restaurant, it is absolutely worth the price.

The food is incredible. Service is pretty lame. It's pretty common to see tables walk out after waiting too long for service. If Tandem had even halfway decent service, this would be my favorite restaurant in the area. If you choose to go, just be prepared to spend hours for a basic drink, appetizer, dinner session.
