A hearty dish featuring tender gnocchi tossed in a rich, savory Bolognese sauce with flavors of tomatoes, herbs, and ground meat.

"Visited on valentines day as a date. No reservation was held even though it was made online through open table. Staff seemed disoriented and confused, disconnected, and unprepared. We were seated 45 minutes late to a table in their glass, closed in patio section that was rather cold with no silverware, plating, decorations or menus. A rushed waiter set the table in front of us, didn 't give us water. They eventually filled our glasses, but did not provide us with a water bottle like every other table had. They brought us food menus after 15 minutes without asking us if we wanted any drinks other than water, and didn 't return until another 15 minutes when we placed an appetizer order. After not receiving a drink menu, we walked up to the bar to order. Bartender was apologetic, friendly, and got us drinks, while wait staff confusedly asked why we were at the bar, saying that they didn 't know we had closed our tab . I explained that we never received drink menus nor were asked to place drink orders, the waiter apologized and said that they 'd bring us the drinks. Once he walked them over, he reminded himself about the fra diavolo we ordered and almost walked away, but we asked to order our entrees since it had now been about an hour. He took our order and brought back the appetizer about 10 minutes later but had informed us that they were out of my first and second choice off the menu. I went with my third option, and they brought out our entrees after around 20 minutes after my reordered entrée. The salmon was okay, the mango/fruit sauce it was placed on was delicious. My date had gnocchi bolognese, which they also said was okay. Overall, decent food was not worth the terrible service or ridiculous price. Waiter double charged us for drinks though we only ordered one round, which we had to remove from our check about 3 hours after we arrived."

"Such a beautiful restaurant. Gina was our server and she was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and saved me from ordering a drink I most likely would not have enjoyed. She gently steered me in the right direction for my taste. I ordered the cranberry and orange juice spritzer which was delicious. I also ordered one of their specials which was the red snapper. Everything on my plate was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the Chicken Siciliano. I don't have pictures because he was too impatient to wait and dug right into his dish which looked absolutely decadent. We were both very pleased with our entrées. We shared a piece of their flourless chocolate cake. I can't stop thinking about it and wish I had ordered one to go. Vespucci Restaurant in Cheshire is the perfect spot for a family dinner, date night, or eating out with your friends. They have a lot to choose from and as you can see they have gluten free options that will not disappoint. There are three different parking lots you can choose to park... plenty of spots. You might want to make reservations online or over the phone if you're looking to dine out on a typical busy night. I can't wait to go back and hope we get Gina again! Well done as always!"

"I used to come here all the time when the name was La barra not Labriola.. sad to say I will not be coming here anymore. I made a reservation two weeks ahead of time to make sure that my family will have a nice table next to the water outside. Upon arrival they were trying to seat us inside. Finally, after giving us a crappy table outside where you can’t even see the water they basically told us to be lucky that you’re sitting outside that “you made it”. We were told all of the tables are reserved and yet they were all still vacant when we were leaving not to mention we reserved an outside table next to the water, but another host then said that they don’t take reservations for outside tables after the host told us that they were reserved ..not to mention the photos online are not accurate with the set up currently they have high top tables covering the whole view of the water and then the little tables behind it so you’re sitting looking at people eating instead of water. Also, the food was mediocre. I will not be coming back. "

"UPDATED- We met with friends for drinks. We decided to order a take away pizza and some drinks to go. They doubled charged us for the drinks. I didn't notice till I got home and called them. After not hearing from them and emailing- I called again. Steve was very helpful and had my money refunded back to my card. He was nice and apologetic. So everything worked out and we will return. Vegetarian options: I wish they carried more vegetarian options as they're missing out on a large demographic."

"We have eaten there a number of times and really like this restaurant. out of of us enjoyed our dinner. The had eggplant parmesan and found the cheese to be a little bitter. The never ending servings of small crispy garlic rolls are delicious and quite unusual. Haven't found them anywhere else. I personally have never had a bad meal. Therir sauces are outstanding and my favorite entree is the veal Marseilles sp?. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant"

"My husband and I wanted to enjoy a New Years Eve, Eve dinner for our anniversary and the staff was so wonderful! The place was very busy and our waitress took amazing care of us despite the crowds. The food was delicious and this will definitely be a place we’ll be bringing everyone who comes to visit back to! Thanks for such a wonderful time Vincent’s! You’ll see us again!"

"This restaurant is right near the golf course that I play. So I started to order dinner for the family from this place after my round of golf. I usually order the family meal of the day, which is indeed the best deal in town. The owner Vinny was very friendly. The food was delicious each time, and my family really enjoyed each meal. Highly recommend this place."

"Im from out of town and on was visiting family and we went there for the first time though my family visits the area it's in often. The food was excellent. ordered the special fish which they said was absolutely delicious and finished it quickly! I ordered the Angel hair pomodor and added shrimp to it and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were nice sized shrimp as usually when you add shrimp, you're lucky to get or The whole experience was great, the food was fantastic, we will definitely make it a point to go again next time we're in town"

"We arrived on time for our 8:30 reservation and was told it would be about 10 mins. There was a bar and so we had a drink. The host was very nice. , he came into bar and said about 10 mins more we said ok. 1 hour later we were still not seated. Finally we went into the dining room and insisted on a table. The host was not very nice anymore. He totally ignored us the rest of the evening. Someone seated us and we received water and bread right away. Then we waited quite a while for a server to take our order. He served us within a reasonable amount of time, and the food was hot and good. Then the LOUD music started playing and we couldn't talk to each other through the rest of our meal When we were finished eating and served coffee they told us our table was reserved for the private party and could we leave. I almost lost it at this point. I have been to this restaurant once before and really enjoyed it. I also understand on a busy night that things don't always go according to plan Bartolinos needs to not overbook if they can't accommodate everyone in a timely manner. I will not return to this restaurant again. One customer loss is one to many in my opinion."

"First we had called here for a reservation about 2 months ago for my daughter's college graduation supper period they told us they were blocked both times. On the day that we are going for supper we walk down by pough hills just to see if there was any room sure enough there were tons room period and there was 12 of us and he said yeah no problem come on in. The waitress was kind of rusty she wanted appetizers and food all at once I guess she was wanting to get everything put together in one long time period. Food was great but service was lacking. Bus boys did most of the work waitress did not even come back to check on drinks for the table or ask if we want to dessert. The bill came and I paid for it no sooner did she take the billfold she came back and asked if service was good And the food was good. I told her things were great and then she would proceed to say that I did not give her enough tip money. She stated she lives on tips and the tip was not sufficient. I was taken back by her comment as I work in the service industry also and have never gone back to a client and said the tip was insufficient. For this reason I'm giving them a low rating due to the fact that waitress wasRequesting more money for a tip which should be up to the individual not the server to determine the tip."

"Looking for a place halfway between New Rochelle and north Salem, and Armonk was it, so we picked the highest rated dinner spot in town. Was a mix of really loud, due to the 30 person party in the dining room leaving the excellent bartender to serve the bar and bar room. The owner stood around and did nothing. The corkage we were quoted was $48, ridiculous given the wine list and location. We wound up with a couple of bottles of Hartford Zinfandel for $60 each. The food was good but not great. The Italian egg rolls were tasty. My Scallopini alla Gavi entree was tasty and tender but the Marsala never made it out of the kitchen. Overall it was nice. No one in our party of four indicated a need to return. Ciao!"

"Must try pizza. So good and represents that NYC style of pizza so well. The tomato sauce on the pizza tastes unique to this restaurant and I like it! Even the basic pasta has flavor with chunks of real garlic. Love the crispy yet chewy pizza crust. Presentation makes you want to eat a whole pie by yourself. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Restaurant is clean. Definitely a place to add and save. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Regular Slice, Grandma Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot"

"The restaurant is fantastic! I took my dad there for his 85th birthday, and we had an amazing experience. Our waitress, Stacy, was wonderful and made our visit special. We didn't start with any appetizers, but when we finally ordered dinner, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The busboy did a great job clearing the table throughout the evening. Overall, it was an excellent night, and I will definitely be coming back!"

"This is a struggle but I move it up from a 3 1/2 to a 4 based on great gluten free options for my wife and great company from Juan the bus person. ENTRANCE it was early on a Saturday and we were not greeted immediately. The hostess finally saw us and we were seated outside promptly. WAITER finally came by and provided the menu. Asked if we wanted agua and bread. We ordered some spring water and vino. By the way the spring water is a must try. ENTREES I tried the egg plant stack. Which was not a stack per say. The cheese was great and top drawer. The egg plant were large slices not a stack at all. The sauce had a bit of a sweet taste as if sugar was added but don't quote me on that. Decent overall. BUS SERVICE Juan was so engaging and so professional and so attentive it blew me away. He should be promoted to a waiter. VINO stock Cabernet was nothing to write home about but average albeit pricy per glass. ENTREES my wife had the gluten free chicken parm with penne pasta that she liked a lot. Even took some home LOL I ordered the chicken and spinach dish which to my chagrin was a bit over cooked so the chicken breast was a bit dry. The sauce however was tasty DESERT wife had the red velvet gluten free cake with cream cheese and whipped cream on the side that she loved COFFEE I had a double espresso with BLACK sambucca (they actually had it). But came with no lemon slice. PRICE/VALUE this is in the eye of the beholder. For 2 people a few drinks tax and tip our bank was hit for 165. More on triple dollar than the double side."

"we went for a date night and had high hopes on reviews I had seen. Unfortunately, eating our expectations did not live. in contrast to many other Italian restaurants of its kind we received cold bread with butter packages (the plastic/foils) when we arrived there. we would have thought of fresh, warm brot, instead of something that is clearly taken out of the refrigerator, and perhaps oil and fresh flavor. that was a missed opportunity. the dinner was okay nothing wrong with it, but nothing particularly right with it. the drinks were good, like the Italian cheesecake. credit where it is due, the server was very attentive and professional. the decor had a very beautiful, domestic, authentic Italian restaurant feels at, including what seemed to be family pictures about the years."

"The other night I had halibut. It was truly delicious. The best I have ever had at a restaurant or anywhere else. For an appetizer I had the stuffed figs which were also excellent. Our waitress could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. My only criticism is that the music was too loud, and I found it difficult to speak at a reasonable level with my date. It's the type of music that most people don't really care for, but if it's at a low level it is okay for background. Overall, I will definitely come back to Harvest. A favorite restaurant on the avenue."

"Pepperoni and Roasted Garlic. THIS was TRUE New York Style pizza! And the best thing about it... They don't try to sell their pizza as New York pizza. Slightly charred thin and crispy crust that was simple and light. High quality tomatoes used to make the sauce. High quality mozzarella. Perfect mix of pepperoni that was slightly crisped by the oven mixed with roasted garlic. My only improvement would be to cut the garlic cloves in half for a more even distribution. Not sure how their ovens work, but it tastes like a NYC coal powered oven to fast bake this best version of pizza I've had in the Triad. Caprese salad with balsamic glaze could use more basil, but serving it on a bed of shredded lettuce is brilliant."
