"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"I recently had the best meal at this restaurant! I tried the shrimp stuffed with crab served with risotto, and it was amazing. I will definitely be coming back for this dish - it's the best I've ever had! To start, I had the fresh, chilled lump crab meat, which was superb. Although they don't have a drink list or specialty drinks, they do have a full bar. However, the food is definitely the star here. The meal was for dinner and the price per person was $50–100. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. There is plenty of parking available, with options for free parking in the lot."

"Piccolos Toscana is wonderful. The staff greeted us quickly, delivered our appetizers and drinks in the bar and brought our dinner requests in a very reasonable time. The food was delicious. Who knew hummus and grilled avacodo could be so good? Even two in our group do not normally like avocado loved the grilled avocado appetizer. We all finished every bit of our entrees. They were just the right size, and too good to leave even a little bit. Piccolo Toscana always delivers a wonderful evening."

"Our meal started out great. After having our salad course, which we had ordered at the same time as our main course, we were ready for our entrees. We waited, and waited-we called our server over who hadn’t been back to the table since our salad course was cleared. She made a quick comment that our food was coming and moved on. We then waited and waited until we again called her over asking where our food was. She again said it was coming. I explained that it was taking a very long time. She didn’t apologize or even try to explain, she just kept repeating that it was coming. Another 5 minutes later, our food came out-drowning in sauce, sauce congealed and looking anything other than freshly prepared-with the exception of my husbands. Again, our server was not around our table and I had to get up to find a manager. When we told the manager of our issue, showing the plates of food akin to what one would find at a greasy diner, he said he would take the food away and comp our glasses of wine. My son kept his dish as he was super hungry and needed food. When getting the bill, only the uneaten food was removed, leaving us with a full bill for both my son’s less than amazing chicken dish and our glasses of wine. We then had to wait again for our server to pay the bill so my husband went to find the manager to pay so we could get out of there. Extremely disappointing, especially for the prices that Rosebuds is charging. As a family who eats downtown Naperville 1-2 a week, we will not be back! Our Italian meals will be enjoyed at Francesca’s down the street instead."

"Came here to celebrate a Birthday, but was worried because I haven't been here since before Covid. And I was concerned the food and service changed. Well I was concerned over nothing. The food was better than I remember. The waitress was great, after we were seated, they immediatly brought Garlic Knots to the table. The Garlic Knots were so soft it was like eating an out the oven biscuit, with Garlic baked in and garlic oil and Parmesan cheese on top. And they had some tomato spread that went well with it. I could of eaten a dozen of them. But that bread saved us money, because we didnt order appetizers. She ordered Angel Hair Primavera with Chicken. The portion was nice. Definitely food to take home, which was the next day's lunch. I wasn't sure what to get, so I went with their special, Honey-Glazed Half-Chicken over spicey/sweet Brussel Sprouts. I don't know how they cooked the chicken but I was tasting the Honey-Glaze within the meat. It was so good. Not huge fan of Brussel Sprouts, but it was the perfect compliment to the sweetness of the chicken. We enjoyed the meal so much, and glad we got there when we did. Because by the time we noticed the place was very busy. As we ate our meals, we enjoyed watching the other dishes being served. They do a great job with food presentation. But the waitress made the night for us, but definitely for me. Like i said, it was a birthday dinner, and we said that to the waitress as we were seated. When we finsihed and was enjoying the ambiance, without me asking the waitress, she brought over a small cup filled whip cream and a candle and sang Happy Birthday. Again, I didnt ask her to do this, she took it upon herself to do this. It's those small gestures that made the night even better. Love this place."

"The hostess was friendly but tried to put us at a small table across from the bar in a very high traffic area. Honestly it was very odd to see the table there in the first place, so we declined and they sat us in another location. The service was fine and the waitress friendly. The food was pretty good as it usually is, but $15 for creme brulee and one coffee was just too much. We will probably go back because it's close by, but it wasn't the best dining experience I've had."

"I frequently order out from here. The food is always good and exceptional. Kudos to the chefs, cooks and kitchen. The staff, the face of the restaurant, is incredibly rude. Perhaps it’s because I order out. I order about 2-3x a month for the past year (subs, pizza, main dishes, appetizers, etc. and maybe once, I’ll be greeted nicely. Mainly and always ignored by any female, servers, and supervisors in a tie, that stand behind the kiosks gossiping about their tables and dancing, walking around customers waiting for help. They pass judgement on appearance from the experience I’ve had. Not only to me, my other person refuses to walk in there to pick up because of his experience with the face of the restaurant. The gestures they made towards him was unacceptable. I write this because of my most recent experience I had on Feb 14, 2025 was actually ridiculous. The 2-3 Female servers, (2blonde, 1brunette and short supervisor (in purple standing behind the front kiosks avoided eye contact until they finished their conversation, giggling. I am only trying to pick up my order and I was interrupting them to help me, which they didn’t. Someone else did. I assume the owners of this establishment is aware of how there employees act and the lack of care to allow unprofessionalism is truly questionable. I get having fun and joking around but not in front of customers, especially speaking about other customers publicly and during busiest hours."

"I called in a pizza order and the background noise level was quite high. The young woman taking my order couldn't hear my name well, instead of saying excuse me, she replied with "what?" She didn't listen to my request and I had to repeat myself several times as she seemed quite distracted. When I picked up the pizza, another young woman met me with quite an attitude and asked for my name twice, again saying "huh"? This was very unprofessional. When I took out my wallet to pay, the flashlight on my phone went on. The person informed me of this, and I replied that I couldn't take care of it as I was paying for my pizza. Her response was snippy; she said, "I'm just trying to help". When I asked about the cost of the pizza, she initially didn't respond and then answered with a snarl. After paying, I told her about my experience when ordering my pizza and she seemed clueless. I had never been to this establishment before, but did so today at my grandsons' request. I will never be returning. I am not a rude person and do not appreciate being treated poorly. I do not live in Massapequa, and believe me, this pizza was nothing special. "Heard great things about this restaurant, wanted to give it try for a long time. Glad we did the service was excellent Una really took care and was extremely attentive. We orders the lobster bisque, amazing they need to add more of the green oil because it made a difference on the taste of the soup. We enjoyed the chicken spring rolls she recommended, the spice from the sauce made the dish extra vibrant. My husband ordered the salmon and in his opinion it was more cream corn taste than anything else. He did enjoy it. I had the black and blue ribeye and the cook on the steak was perfect! I wish my potatoes weren’t as charred but the crispy onions made up for it. Our drinks were delicious as well. We would recommend and come back to this location."

"Many Hotel restaurants are poor. They have a captive audience so they don't have to try very hard. This one is not in that category. I travel to Northern NJ frequently and this is my go to place anywhere near Teaneck/ Hackensack area. The menu is a combination of modern Italian with a few traditional items. "This is our first meal at the new location. The prices jump significantly and frankly, I didn’t think the food was as good as the old location. I had the chicken piccata. At the old location, the pasta was delicious, and the sauce enveloped every piece of pasta. Yesterday, the pasta seem more like egg noodles, and it was all stuck together in a clump at the bottom of the bowl. The sauce was two lemony, and the chicken was tough. Not at all happy with the quality. The Caesar salad resembled nothing like a Caesar. I know they can’t use a traditional Caesar dressing with egg and anchovy, but this wasn’t even close. More like a sweet dressing. The server was excellent and he bent over backwards to make us happy. Not his fault."
