"I had the brisket tacos and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious. The brisket was tender and juicy and the portion was big, I could only eat one. The waiter was extremely nice and attentive. The only reasons I'm not giving it five stars. First of all $2.95 for a diet coke! Although there was a nice syrup to seltzer ratio. The front of house two woman were both nasty. That should be addressed."

"Maya's is my favorite restaurant on Oahu. My partner and I visit regularly. The food is incredible! I highly recommend the lamb empanadas, roasted Brussels sprouts skewers, baked burrata (make sure to get extra baguette), spicy chicken pinchos, and patatas bravas. The charcuterie board is excellent as well. Their drinks, Lost on Sea and Attack on Straws, are delightful. The service is always top-notch!"

"This cozy but very loud restaurant is home to perhaps the most outstanding Steak au Poivre I have ever had. The cut of meat was excellent, cooked to a perfect medium and crusted in just the right amount and consistency of pepper... served with a perfectly seasoned sauce of exactly the right consistency... and of course accompanied by a basket of crispy Frites! It doesn’t get much better than this! Exactly what I would expect from an Alsace heritage which, arguably produces the best chefs in all of Europe!"

"My daughter and I have been dying to stop and we finally made it. The restaurant is spacious inside and out and it's so very clean and welcoming. We decided to sit outside. Most outdoor eating was thrown together best the restaurant could but this waspreexisting and covered with an awning. We will definitely sit outside whenever it is nice. My daughter got the Californiaomlete. She couldn't believe how much avocado it had. Most places get stingy but here it was perfect. I got the blueberrywaffles and it was delicious. The blueberries were fresh and sweet. The slightly warmed them and it was all perfect. Ourwaitress Katrina was excellent. She made sure our coffee was filled at all times and showed right when we needed anything."

"the only thing that turned me off was that everyone was greeted table around me by a server or performer. we had to ask someone to explain how we would order and make our first visit more pleasant. Now that I have “experienced” the restaurant, I will know what to do and not waste 45 minutes trying to find out how to order and not miss more services. because the time was limited to two hours, I was worried that we didn't have enough time to eat or drink. After the order we waited for 30 minutes for our first drink to reach our food. it wasn't sure if we had enough time to order a second drink we did, but it had to drink quickly as our two-hour meal was over."
