"So it's 6am the woman at from desk not very welcoming and not well groomed. There was only one customer in the place and one server. It took 12 minutes to ask what I would like. Server was behind me and talking with the woman from up front. I turnedaround gave them a look like what's up. Finally got some attention. Food was just OK. A cross from me there was a cart filledwith dirty dishes. Do you think someone could have cleared it. Well off to the men's room. Big mistake.Floor was wet and nosoap or paper towels. Photos to follow. I hope the owners read there reviews and take action. Sorry for my rant, but at 6in themorning this diner should be spotless. My booth was to the left of cart."

Kellogg's doesn't get the best reviews (a 1.5 star average at the time of writing this?!) but I'm going to stand up for what I believe in and defend this View menu

The diner is a good place to get a filling meal for a decent price. With it's close proximity to the buses and subways the restaurant is in an excellent location for travelers. The bison burger was overcooked for something that's supposed to be cooked medium. Nonetheless I would be willing to give this place a another chance. Perhaps their other items on their menu would be better. View menu

I had the brisket tacos and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious. The brisket was tender and juicy and the portion was big, I could only eat one. The waiter was extremely nice and attentive. The only reasons I'm not giving it five stars. First of all $2.95 for a diet coke! Although there was a nice syrup to seltzer ratio. The front of house two woman were both nasty. That should be addressed.

We really wanted to experience the 'American diner ' and it 's actually not so easy to find, anymore. And what a good surprise to find Kelloggs diner, during our walk through Brooklyn. Atmosphere is so authentic, service is welcoming and friendly, and Icould have my black coffee/eggs bacon pancakes. Delicious and generous portion. They also have nice veggie options, wraps, salads and nice choice of cakes. ????

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
