"So it's 6am the woman at from desk not very welcoming and not well groomed.There was only one customer in the place and one server. It took 12 minutes to ask what I would like. Server was behind me and talking with the woman from up front. I turnedaround gave them a look like what's up. Finally got some attention. Food was just OK. A cross from me there was a cart filledwith dirty dishes. Do you think someone could have cleared it. Well off to the men's room. Big mistake.Floor was wet and nosoap or paper towels. Photos to follow. I hope the owners read there reviews and take action. Sorry for my rant, but at 6in themorning this diner should be spotless. My booth was to the left of cart."

"The food was decent, but the customer service left much to be desired. The waiter wore his mask under his nose, and there was little effort made for social distancing. I was seated alone in a booth, while a group of four was squeezed into the booth directly behind me—there was less than a foot of space between me and two of them. Furthermore, I had specifically asked if they accepted my credit card as payment, and they confirmed that they did. However, later I discovered that the card machine was down, and I had to use their ATM to withdraw cash to pay my bill. This was frustrating, but what really crossed the line was when the waiter took my $10 and didn’t give me any change back. He wouldn’t even look at me when I approached him to ask if everything was settled. I would have left a tip regardless, but it was clear he wasn’t interested in earning one. I won’t be returning. "

"My dad and I breakfasted on the challah french toast, feta spinach omelette with home fries, and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the home fries here. The service was excellent, as the waitress was quick with our order and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The music in the background was cheerful and upbeat, but not too loud. We will be coming back!"

"National is one of my favorite places in the Bronx. I often find myself spending quite a bit here because I truly appreciate the staff and the delicious food. Their freshly baked goods are absolutely tempting. I highly recommend trying the tuna melt and the patty melt! However, honestly, everything I’ve eaten here has exceeded my expectations. "I ordered a short stack of pancakes, which were okay. Unfortunately, my mother's order of Taylor ham on toasted rye was not prepared as requested. She received over-toasted white bread and very well-done Taylor ham, which left her dissatisfied. On the bright side, the waiter was friendly. The parking situation was straightforward - you drive into the lot, park, and enter the diner. Wheelchair accessibility is good, with a ramp and close wheelchair parking available. The menu indicates they will work hard to accommodate dietary restrictions if notified. The overall service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The lunch meal type had prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food received a rating of 3, while the atmosphere was rated a 2. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking in the lot."

"This is the place you want in your neighborhood. I was visiting Airbnb down the street and I wish I had known about this place two days before our first visit! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Food is fantastic and generous. Big John was so kind. It was Greek orthodox Easter, and I had the pleasure of meeting an employee and I am pretty sure a family member and he was as kind as anybody could be he was familiar with where I live in Belize Thank you. "I love a good diner breakfast, and Bridgeport Restaurant provides just that. Prices are fair and portions are generous. Service is always friendly and accommodating. It's also a favorite of my 4 year old, who enjoys drawing on the paper placemats and chatting up the servers as well as practically inhaling the scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage from the kids' menu. Glad they have reopened for takeout and look forward to supporting them again in person in the future."

"I ordered a delivery order. Simple. 1) sancocho 2) morir soñando. Result. After eating 1 hour for my order. I received in sancocho que parecía una sopa de pollo. It looks like the chicken went into a jacuzzi and came out with no flavour. The morir soñando was a orange juice. Very disappointed at Caridad. Charge me $20.00 but give me a sanchocho no una agua de teni. The sanchocho estaña aguado una agua con sopita. Por favor no engañen a la gente. Fix the Sam chocho the right way. I was so upset o have to come here a write this."

"As a New Yorker, I can confidently say that these bagels rank among the top two I've ever tasted. They have a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, and the variety of cream cheese options is impressive. I typically go for the everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, while my boyfriend always chooses the everything bagel with lox spread. It's his absolute favorite bagel spot. I highly recommend giving them a try!"

Fortunately, it was one of those days when I didn't have any appointments to rush to, so we decided to wait for the correct dish while I enjoyed part of the incorrect order. Overall, it turned out to be a pleasant experience!"
