"So it's 6am the woman at from desk not very welcoming and not well groomed.There was only one customer in the place and one server. It took 12 minutes to ask what I would like. Server was behind me and talking with the woman from up front. I turnedaround gave them a look like what's up. Finally got some attention. Food was just OK. A cross from me there was a cart filledwith dirty dishes. Do you think someone could have cleared it. Well off to the men's room. Big mistake.Floor was wet and nosoap or paper towels. Photos to follow. I hope the owners read there reviews and take action. Sorry for my rant, but at 6in themorning this diner should be spotless. My booth was to the left of cart."

"We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"Our server was pleasant. But didn’t stop by very often. She walked by empty drink glasses 3 times with out stopping. The restaurant was only 1/3 full. She had 3 tables. Two of our orders included fries. Both orders were soggy and cold. The lemon pepper bowl was marginal at best. They also add a 4% fee for employee wellness. I’ll just leave it at that. The experience wasn’t horrible. I wouldn’t recommend eating here as maple grove has many other choices with better service and better food."

"Horrific experience for a Mother 's Day family brunch on a semi-empty restaurant.Dishes don 't come out at the same time for everyone at the table, waiter forgets my drink, then comes back saying would you like some red wine? the white wine is warm . Seriously? Forty-minutes have gone by and my pasta is nowhere to be seen even though my wife has finished her meal and our 2.5 year-old son is starting to get kranky.We decided to then leave, and skimming through the reviews, it is clear we are far from the first ones.The worst part is, this is not our first experience with the exact same issues. Many, many years ago before Covid we had a similar experience with family visiting from abroad. We thought that after 5+ years since that incident they would have learned how to manage a kitchen and properly train staff. Look, we all have bad days, but on a semi-empty day and with consistent issues that span for several years of horrible service? No.A real shame since the place is actually gorgeous and the location is unbeatable for the UWS.I really just hope they run out of their lease and the city decides to move forward with a different concessionaire. One that can effectively operate a kitchen, hire and train the right staff, and ultimately, add value to the neighborhood instead of ruining family plans.Needless to say, never coming back under any circumstances."

"We had a group of four and arrived just in time for happy hour. We started with some excellent appetizers: a soft pretzel that came with three dip options and loaded nachos. Both were delicious! For our main courses, we ordered shepherd’s pie, chicken marsala, and two fish fry plates. Everything was not only beautifully presented but also cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty! We took advantage of happy hour drink prices, which was a nice bonus. Our waiter, Frankie, was amazing! He was friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. One of the highlights was a birthday celebration in our group. We were surprised with a delightful chocolate cake, complete with a candle, a birthday song, and some lovely cherry glaze on top. Overall, Red Hawk is a fantastic place! While it may be a bit pricey for dining out, you certainly get a great atmosphere and delicious food for the cost!"

"This is kind of an odd place that we 've been to many times over the years. It was redesigned/updated to a modern decor a few years ago. I would say the breakfast food is decent; not spectacular. Prices are good-particularly for San Francisco. The disconcerting part of the cost is that they automatically include an 18% gratuity. There is a minus and plus to this concept. The last time I was there, a completely destitute man was unconscious on the sidewalk next to this place. One would hope the Manager would deal with this in a humane manner somehow. Further, inside, there was a table of 5-6 young men using foul language broadcasting at high volume. One of them was stretching his leg on his buddies shoulder over the table. Come on-the restaurant should have shut that whole thing down-completely out of control. Not really sure this place gets it beyond cooking and serving."

"The best pat of our dining was the waiter Will. There were only 7 others he restaurant the night we went so it was quiet. Will explained it was a BYOB and since we had not brought any wine he brought us a glass of Zifandel not the best but better than what we had brought. The pasta fagioli was OUTSTANDING. Food was cooked to order, properly prepared and presented. The Halibut was rather bland it could have used more seasoning but it was perfectly cooked. The shrimp dish was delightful, not too spicy. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back. We did feel it was pricey but decided to give it another try."

"We had a reservation for Brunch at 11:00. I am uncertain if this was necessary, as there were some seating, but that could have been tables for reserved guests. We sat on the terrace on a table for 4. The outdoor seats had heating elements that really helped the atmosphere on the fleet of September afternoon. My partner ordered the Cakes, Eggs and Links, they replaced the pancakes for French toast and the sauce for Bacon. One of our friends and I ordered the Spinach Fritatta. Our other friend ordered the Killer Banana waffles. We had coffee and water as drinks. Our staff was a bit everywhere and we had a difficult time to get their attention for coffee and refills. In addition, when our food came my partner order came with sausage instead of bacon and our friend ordered breakfast salad with one side of avocado and received only one avocado. The staff did a short job to correct this. Overall, the food was acceptable, in my opinion, the fritatta could have benefited either from a different kind of cheese or the cheese later in the rhe cook, when the egg under which the cheese is on the meal has made the egg under a little moisture where the cheese was and took away from my entire enjoyment the main dish. Otherwise, had an excellent experience and if the situation soon returned."

"We were seated at the bar. The bartender told us it was her second day, but she was attentive and friendly. We ordered a drinks, salad, a mini pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs. We were assured several times our hot food was coming any minute, but iteventually took 45 minutes, and both the pizza and pasta were cold to room temp. We had other plans so just ate and did not makea big deal. We also had to ask for the bread that was supposed to come with the pasta. US Pizza was one of our favorites but thelast few times have been underwhelming."
