"I recently relocated to Union City from Los Angeles and have been on the hunt for a great Thai restaurant. My wife and I decided to try this place since we both enjoy Thai cuisine. The food here is delicious, and the customer service is very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ chicken and fried rice—it’s a great combination since the chicken is one of their signature dishes. The pad see ew was tasty but could benefit from a bit more sauce. As for the crab cakes, they were decent, though I would have preferred if they included more crab and were made in smaller, fried pieces instead of just two large ones. The dipping sauce was also quite good!"

"SO disappointing. This is a restaurant my family has been going to for 30+ years . The place was redecorated which it needed but the quality of the food has deteriorated to the point of being inedible. This is the SEABASIN which used to mean the freshest of fish prepared simply and well accompanied by good local produce. Not anymore. Seafood choices are limited and the ones that they have were frozen. My husband ordered blackened swordfish which was so rubbery it was impossible to choke down. I ordered a simple boiled lobster which was small I would guess under 1 lb) but exactly what I had in mind, except it was covered in sautéed baby scallops that had a strong aftertaste of iodine! Scraping them off the delicious lobster was the only answer. Instead of the proffered asparagus, which I don 't love, I asked for broccoli which arrived steamed and yellowy green without a hint of salt or butter and was so tough I couldn 't even cut it. I suspect it was frozen. Wine by the glass choices were limited and uninteresting. We had one glass of wine, a salad starter, two entrees and a cannoli which was decent) and the bill came to $138 before tax and tip. Service was attentive and quick. And one last comment.... who picked the music? Tunes from the 80 's featuring Meatloaf and other notable headbangers was just the cherry on the cake to a terrible and disappointing dinner."

"Been ordering food from here for years! My favorite Thai bbq location. However, due to poor customer service, I will no longer be a customer to this one. I place large orders! This one was about $250 through grubhub. The restaurant calls me and says they don 't have enough S1 (chicken) to fulfill the order. I ordered about 5 of this item. I spoke with Sam. I said no problem, can you just replace the 3 S1 orders with the chicken Sate plate? She said I would have to cancel the order and do it all over again. I think this was pretty insensitive, especially since the refund takes at least 24 hours to be refunded. I didn 't want to have over $500 charged to my card that day. I asked if they can just provide the change for these three dishes that you can 't fulfill. Let 's keep it simple and not make me go through placing another large order that takes time to fill out. She said no, because she needs to make more profit since the Sate dishes are priced higher. It 's literally a $2 difference between the two, so we 're looking at a $6 total difference. Again, on a $250+ order. The tone was not impolite, however, I feel that the tone of the convo was and just overall unprofessional. A $6 profit was more important than your $250 order??? Maybe something like hello, I am sorry but we are running low on this item. If it 's ok with you, I can replace three dishes with this one. It is priced higher but would like to offer it to you at the same cost this time to fulfill your order and help you enjoy your dinner in a timely manner .OR... we only have 2 of this item. We can refund the other three if we cannot find you a replacement. Anyway, just some time of customer service approach RATHER THAN I need to make more profit! That 's the part that didn 't sit well with me and just really pissed me off. Otherwise, food here is great! But this ain 't the only Thai bbq in LA."

"We originally planned to go to a wing chain but decided to try this restaurant instead. I'm thrilled that we made that choice! The food was outstanding! We ordered both grilled (with a perfect grill char/flavor) and fried wings, boneless and traditional. We sampled the Sriracha Honey, Italian Stallion, Strawberry Jalapeño, and Citrus Sinner sauces. I honestly can't choose a favorite because they were all delicious. From the cornbread basket and onion haystack appetizers to the wings with fries, everything was of excellent quality. "Step Up From the American Chinese Norm. I've had lunch here twice with my wife. Both times were well worth the money. I understand a lot of people want a huge pile of food to shove down their gullets and have more to feed the dog or have lunch another day. It doesn't need to be. The lunch special is a salad (unassuming iceberg with dressing and crispy topping that I would have licked the plate afterward if at home), appetizer, vegetable egg roll or crab rangoon, the main course and steamed or fried rice. Egg drop soup is good. No faults. Wife loved both the egg drop and hot and sour soup. The egg roll wasn't greasy, crispy outside, tender inside and the size was a perfect few bites for me. The mixed vegetables were done really well, cooked in a wine sauce I believe. I tried my wife's Yushang Egg Plant and it was very good, hot creamy eggplant in hot pepper sauce, Szechwan Braised String Beans are amazing. The garlic sauce is very pungent and full flavored and the beans cooked perfectly. And I tried my wife's Bean Curd in Brown Sauce. Probably the best tender bean curd with slightly crisp outside and beautiful brown sauce. Downfall, there were no black mushrooms in the dish. Overall, atmosphere is very nice and the service has been wonderful. Your glass is always full and they are ready and willing to bring out a pair of chopsticks"

"This charming little café is an excellent spot for people-watching. I witnessed a dancer under the influence and a heated altercation, but I still felt secure in our cozy restaurant. "The experience was just mediocre overall. The layout of the bar and restaurant is too segmented, and there could be a better design to create a more open atmosphere. They do have karaoke nights with acoustic performances. The staff was inconsistent—sometimes friendly and attentive, but other times not. On the plus side, there is parking available. One thing to watch out for is that they automatically add gratuity even for a single-person tab, which was not mentioned by the bartender upfront. As a result, we ended up over-tipping, and I can't believe how much we spent for just two people drinking beers over three hours. I probably won't be coming back."

"I've been coming to stafford house for 12 years. The chicken parm was my go to every time. Unfortunately last Sunday I had a bad experience. The waitress I always deal with recognized me even knowing where I did. I ordered my usual chicken parm dinner. She brought it out and explained that the person who made it had the cap accidentally come off the oregano but they did their best to clean it up. She said let me know if it tastes funny. It did taste funny (terrible) and all she said was that hopefully they don't do that again. Not can I make it over for you correctly. My chicken parm was green. I did not want to start an argument there so after I saw nothing was going to be done I just paid my bill (was charged full price) and left. They knew the meal was messed up and tried to cover it up badly then still charged me full price for it. Bad move guys"

"I ordered the "Ordnungsteler Bhurji" and "Disteler Tikka Masala," which normally comes with a side of onions. However, when the order arrived, I realized that the onions were not included. When I asked the server about this, I was informed that the onions came at an extra cost. I questioned why there was an additional charge for something that was supposed to come with my meal, but the server had no answer—he simply said that’s what the chef told him. One of the dishes was returned because it was too spicy for my children to eat, yet we were still charged for it. The quality and quantity of the food did not match the prices. For $18.95, I expected a satisfying meal. I also ordered Veggie Manchurian, which was undercooked and no one could eat it. When I informed the server, he took it back and returned to say that if they cooked it longer, it would be too heavy, and they couldn't redo it because it would take too long. Additionally, the "Hühnerkadai" did not come with the side of onions as expected. I still ordered the onions for an extra charge, and was shocked to find that a single cut onion cost $4.95—I've never paid so much for an onion before. I have to give this place 1 star because I have no other option."

"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid, and I've usually had a good experience with the food. However, my last visit was very disappointing. I ordered two slices of pizza—one cheese and one pepperoni—along with some dough nuggets. The girl who took my phone order said it would only take 10-15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes. When I returned, they said it would be an additional 5 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 15 again. I ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes, only for them to inform me they didn’t have any cheese pizza, so I reluctantly chose sausage instead. To top it all off, the dough nuggets were overcooked and hard. I won’t be coming back until they improve their service."
