"Rosetta calls itself a Trattoria . First of all, every trattoria in Italy has a tablecloth not wooden or plastic tables. Rosetta charges fine dining prices for an establishment where most men turn up in shorts for dinner and where the cooking has very little resemblance to Italian cooking. A Restaurant which would not last a week in Italy. My husband ordered Fettuccini alla Bolognese. The sugo bore no resemblance to a true Bolognese sauce neither in texture , colour nor cooking. In fact, the much too wide fettuccini were floating in a pale reddish liquid sauce with no trace of extra virgin olive, long slow cooking or parmigiano reggiano. I, on the other hand, had the tagliolini with crab and chili. In Italy the dish would have had a liberal taste of peperoncino and sufficient salt. mine had neither. Then came the Parmigiana di Melanzane with huge thick slices of eggplant layered with thick unmelted slices of Fiore di Latte (not Buffalo mozzarella) covered with an insipid tomato sauce and practically no parmesan or basil. I have lived in Italy for 50 years and know Italian cooking. In addition, I know how to cook it."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

Although the woman who brought out the food who I assume was the expediter and also asks tables if they want fresh cracked pepper. She was a miserable person and not pleasant at all. If I was in a situation where I had to give them a tip I know I wouldn't have. Everything else was great though! Delicious food and specialty cocktails. Yummy."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."

"On the positive side, the service was adequate; the waiting staff was apologetic, although the maitre d' was excessively attentive when we voiced our complaints. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, but unfortunately, the food was truly terrible. Nothing tasted fresh or appetizing, with only the garlic-infused olive oil and broth being somewhat acceptable. We will not be returning to this restaurant and cannot recommend it, even though we know several friends whose opinions we respect have enjoyed hosting events there. "We dined at this restaurant on Saturday and had an exceptional experience! We chose to sit outside on the terrace, as the weather was beautiful. For starters, we had the burrata, which was incredibly fresh and creamy—so delicious that it was hard to stop eating! My partner ordered the Metzger cut, which was an exquisitely tender and perfectly marbled ribeye. I opted for the linguini with scallops, mushrooms, and truffle butter, and it was fantastic. The pasta is made in-house daily, and you can truly taste the quality. This place is the perfect choice for a romantic date night if you're craving a chic Italian meal. "Let me preface this review by saying it is based solely on the customer service and I would give you zero if possible.. We never actually got to eating in the restaurant. When we checked into the Live Casino/Hotel, we asked if it would be possible to schedule a reservation for the prime rib restaurant. Isaiah at reception, made the reservation for us and assisted in letting him know it was my wife's birthday. We arrived at our 730 reservation time and receded quickly. My wife asked if we could go to a more secluded section of the restaurant, as we wished to be more romantic setting. The hostess place us in a section where we were the only people at a table. Upon our server greeting us, she advised that the table we were at was too large for our two person group, and that she needed to relocate us to another table in a different section of the restaurant because they left the table we were seated at for larger groups. We asked if we could stay there as the hostess had already seated us, and she said she would need to speak to her manager. While she was away, another server came to our table and told us that he needed to relocate us to a different section of the restaurants because the section we were in was closed. while I would've understood that if the first server had of said it, she chose to lie and say that the table was for a larger group. I found that to be completely distasteful, and my wife and I left the restaurant. after we left, the restaurant manager called my cell phone to ask what she could do to rectify the situation. I advised her that we were lied to, and I no longer wished to dine there and we're moving on to an outside location for dinner. if they lied about something as simple as our seating, we could not trust them with our meal. Honesty is essential in customer service."

"The food was excellent and the service was also very good. However, if you want a quiet setting, this is not the place. We went on St. Valentine 's Day and regretted our decision the moment we sat down. We could barely hear each other across the table, which was located very close to other tables. We heard the entire conversation of the party next to us even though we tried very hard to focus on our own conversation which was hard to do due to the noise level. Maybe it is not too bad on a 'regular ' night, but for a romantic dinner, you should consider a larger restaurant with more room between tables."

"We made a reservation the weekend of Valentines Day! When we got there our table was waiting! Our server came right out with a big friendly smile! He suggested a nice bubbly for us that we loved! We had the marinated olives and bread for an appetizer! Very tasty! I ordered Lobster Pasta and it was so delicious and creamy! My husband had snapper topped with herbs and pistachios! "I really feel like the value was in the small plates. I got a small wedge salad and followed it up with a risotto that was both very filling and tasty. My fiance got the special-redfish-which was delicious but not the portion or presentation (there was some kind of steamed celery stalk they were trying to pass as a vegetable you want to eat) I would expect from a meal. The service was fair, I only say that because our waiter kept correcting the way everyone said their choices and one person's meal came out much later than everyone else's so we had to go back and inquire about it, at which point it was promptly brought out. It also wasn't a dish that should take any longer. The service was the downside, the food was all delicious and overall the value was okay."

"I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here for Mother's Day brunch! I made a reservation prior and although was running a bit late, they were more than understanding. Sospeso is a cozy, intimate, yet modern Turkish establishment on H street. They have an all day menu, and a brunch menu on the weekends. From the brunch menu, we ordered the Turkish breakfast (platter with Turkish beef sausage, hummus, baba ghanoush, cucumber/tomatoes, feta, and mascarpone with honey), and the lamb hash (lamb, potatoes, eggs). The platter is perfect for sharing for the table, and the mascarpone with honey was so so good with the focaccia bread. From the regular menu, we got the lamb chops, with came with 4 chops over a bed of rice pilaf, and roasted cauliflower. The flavor combination of rosemary, garlic, and sweetness of the rice was perfect. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and our food came out pretty quickly. Overall a great dining experience and was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a spot!"

"We came here for my partners birthday celebration dinner. Everything tasted great! It is expensive dinning but it’s to where you feel the money does go into the business to where it is to please the customers and I feel the staff is well taken care of as well. The staff is always pleasant, the place is clean, the seats are comfortable, the back room was cozy and romantic. The music is a good selection since it sets that mood of a steakhouse to me and the large list of alcoholic beverages available is great for those who like to have options. The and taste of the food is above average so we have never been disappointed coming here for the past 4 years. We always appreciate the variety of breads we get here as well for the starter and I notice only butter is provided but maybe having a olive oil option as well would be good. The drink menu is now digital but may I suggest adding pictures to the cocktails or other special drinks for those who might be curious as to what they are ordering. "we really enjoyed our visit in the a tavola bar trattoria. the restaurant was cozy and somewhat crowded, but we enjoyed immediate seating for our party of 7. the prices are very reasonable, but the waiting staff will recommend a pizza and an appetizer for all two people. So they plan to get around $30 to $45 depending on drinks for two. the beer selection is usually flicking, but there are eight beers on the tape I enjoyed the octave festival, which was tasty but mild in relation to ibu and abw. I liked the cauliflower slightly coated with a vinaiigrette dressing, but I prefer a slightly more crisp cooked vegetables. my friend loved the stuffed dates packed in speck and then filled with sausage. we tried three of the pizzas; margarita, sweet hem and speck and artichoke. they were all very good. I love the soft chest. the artichoke pizza was delicious and not overwhelmed by the pesto (as usual). we all liked the hot olives on the antipasto plate and the accompanying sauces. the taste of the heap was completely lost in the cheese and speck in the sweet pea pizza. my daughter loved the Margarita pizza and gave me no chance to try it. the remaining room needed some attention, but it was the midday hour. my wife enjoyed the thunfischsalat, but it might contain more thunfisch than was necessary and it was still a bit left. overall we want this place and while there are many options on the vine street, we are very likely to come back."

"Meh. The veal piccata was heavily breaded/fried and other than a few capers wasn't really recognizable as veal piccata. Too bad. My son asked for plain spaghetti with a side of sauce and meatballs. They brought the pasta with red sauce and that normally wouldn't be a big deal except the red sauce was pretty awful very astringent/metallic tasting, to my taste and his sister's as well as his own. He ate none and the waiter was kind enough to take it off our bill. Still, the bill was pretty darn high for the mediocre food we were served. The restaurant is in a pretty house with a lovely bacci ball court to the side but the food definitely needs work before I would consider returning."
