"The food here is overpriced and mediocre. The home fries were terrible, and the grilled cheese was just one thin slice. I paid $6 for three tiny pieces of bacon. The pancakes were incredibly dry, and we asked for Nutella but only got two thin lines of it on top. I really don’t understand the hype surrounding this place. It’s so expensive and simply not good at all; I honestly wish I could get my money back. It was the worst $75 I’ve ever spent on breakfast. Maybe their appearance on the Food Network boosted their reputation, but it didn't deliver. I wouldn't go back, as I prefer my local diner instead."

"We went on a double date to North City Bistro on a recent Friday night and had a lovely time enjoying dinner and the show. The food is delicious and shareable (crispy Brussel sprouts, sautéed sea scallops, Mac and cheese, meat and cheese plate) and the live music was terrific. Yes, it can get lively (a little loud) but it is pleasant and in an intimate setting. There are about a dozen tables in front near the band where you can enjoy the show. There are also about 8 tall tops toward the back if you want something a little more intimate and cozy. We enjoyed cocktails to start, wine with dinner and affogato with dessert. With such a large variety of food and drink, there is something for everyone. We loved the creme brûlée to share! The staff and owners are kind and pleasant. We will definitely be back for their happy hour and Sunday brunch."

"I was there yesterday and decided to have a dinner dish that was Chicken and Shrimp Franciase, as shown in the photo. I was here a few times and received proper service, but this last time was exceptional and fast. Delicious dish I highly recommend plus for a reasonable price I could not complain. Besides their dinner dishes, they also have incredibly fantastic breakfast especially the pancakes. We look forward to many more visits to this diner."

"Really didn't know what to expect here at Hellas. Had not heard anything bad; thought it was more Greek orientated than it was. The food was good and plentiful. Reminded me of restaurants in the past where the emphasis is on the food, not the dining room decor. What is weird though, is that you do not know what the price is of the meal until you get the bill. Prices are on the menu, but signs are up on the wall explaining that all prices are wrong, that have risen, but no literature will not tell you by how much. So, my chicken salad went from $9.50 to $12....and an additional $2 per person at table was charged on the bill also. (So my meal was $14...although no where else on the menu or the wall signs told us the equation that would get us to $14. Just rather strange. French fries are great; they must have a thin batter on them before being fried. We'll probably be back; it is only open for breakfast and lunch. It's also right on the way to the Columbus Zoo too. Even with their bizarre attempt to raise their prices, it's probably a lot cheaper than the zoo food."

"First of all, the house dressing? Absolutely AMAZING. I have been dining here for over 10 years and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. However, I’m writing this review to highlight how well they managed my partner’s food allergy. We often encounter issues when ordering since he has a milk allergy (not just lactose intolerance), and usually, about 70% of the time, our meals still include milk or cheese. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the woman’s name, but she was incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients and took great care to double-check with the cook about what was in our order when we picked it up. "This is my absolute favorite chopped salad! The restaurant used to be called Cicina Presto and served the original chopped salad recipe from Cucina Cucina, which I think was one of the first of its kind. They have maintained the original recipe, and it remains my top choice for chopped salads! I haven't had their pizza in quite some time, so I can't comment on that."

"Nasty attitude from the guy taking orders wearing a white chef uniform . I came in didn’t say a word . I waited waited finally when he felt like it took my order he was rude on top of that charged me15$ for 2 slices of pizza and a drink charged me extra for using my card just because I complained about the price never have I had this type of service at a PIZZERIA. "Been going here for years for breakfast. It is very consistent. Standard diner fair, all the way to gourmet classics, several styles of eggs Benedict and other takes. My son's Steak and eggs was surprisingly eggs xellent. My go to, corned beef hash and eggs is always good. Coffee refills was always available but staff was not hovering. Been there on occasion for lunch and their burger selection is quite large. Always look for clean atmosphere and it doesn't disappoint. Only recommendation, it fills up fast and parking is limited so go early. Vegetarian options: If your into this, they have it. Parking: They have, I would say 30 or so parking spaces on either side and free street parking but route 46 is a hard street to cross. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and plenty of center tables."

"This diner is fantastic! It's clean, respected, and overall very pleasant. The omelette could have had a bit more bacon, but the service was extremely quick and the portion size was perfect. "This restaurant has likely been around longer than I've been alive. It's a fantastic spot if you're looking for soup, salad, dinner, and dessert. I typically order the soup, salad, and pasta dinner. The soup is consistently excellent; I've tried three different varieties so far, and I can't choose a favorite because they’re all so good. My very picky kids will both happily eat the pasta and meatballs from here, which speaks volumes!"

"They have dine in with Covid vaccine proof so that's a plus, they have booths that fit 1-2 people and 4 seat dining tables and the server was nice, that's about all the pros. There was a fly in here and as I currently look down at my turkey burger and sweet potato fries all I can think about is how bland the food was. I dont know what happened to the seasoning and I had very little faith they would do it properly if asked so used the salt, pepper and ketchup on the table. Managed to eat 2/3 of the burger, hardly made a dent on the fries, they give you a lot which would of been great if tasted better. Couldn't force anymore down, so taking a L with this lunch. Really wanted to try their desserts but I'm afraid it's just as bland so didnt give it a try and this fly is giving me trust issues. Maybe their other menu items taste better cause I see 5 star reviews, i guess it depends on your taste buds. An older gentleman seems to be enjoying the food behind me so to each their own. But for me it's a no, even $11 is a lot if the food comes out tasting as bland as paper and a fly you constantly have to swat away. Only salvation was the tap water, wouldve hated paying more for a drink.Correction: Not $11, I just got my receipt and he's charging me $18.51 so they are literally charging every item on your plate. The burger itself is $11 and the fries are $6, overpriced and under seasoned. On top of that he asked what side I wanted, I had assumed it was a side that came with it with the way he worded it, fine, simple misunderstanding but atleast season the food if you charging so much. The price is slapping my face with how unsatisfy I am with this dinner."

"Remember, it's a diner!. As a college student, I've eaten my fair share of diner food. Sams has always been my favorite though. I used to eat dinner there often because I lived near by. It's incredibly cheap and the portions are huge. The staff is always friendly and they treat regulars really nicely. Remember though, it's a diner it's not a five star restaurant. The menu ranges from Greek to America. The Gyros are awesome, the cheeseburgers are ENORMOUS and the club sandwhich is enough to split between two people. The omelets are really huge too, but my favorite for breakfast are the breakfast croissants. Honestly, everything I've ever tried there has been good. The only compliant I've ever heard (from my boyfriend) was that the gravy for the beef strogenoff was too salty and not what he expected. I can't remember the exact statement, but he wasn't happy with it. We sent it back and they took it off the bill and made him something else without complaint."

"I happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this nice little restaurant. I decided to stop in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the perfect portion sizes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the diner's delicious home fries. My husband also enjoyed the meal and we appreciated the attentive service from the waitress. Although there was limited parking, we were able to find a spot and enjoy a quiet meal together. I can't wait to return to this restaurant again in the future."

"Another superb meal, with attentive wait staff, and owner. I don't eat lamb that often but I've eaten it twice at this restaurant and it's been great each time. This is the best Greek food I've ever eaten and my dinner companions have all agreed. The saganaki is flamed at the table and is a must-try dish. This Gem of a restaurant is a Westwood best kept secret. I'm conflicted about sharing how good my experience has been because I don't want to have to stand in line to eat there, but they deserve lines of diners waiting to get in."

"This is the place you want in your neighborhood. I was visiting Airbnb down the street and I wish I had known about this place two days before our first visit! "I ordered the chicken and waffles along with the biscuits and gravy. Let’s start with the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy, but the breading lacked any flavor or seasoning. Additionally, the chicken was placed on top of the waffle in the same container, which resulted in the waffle becoming a greasy, soggy mess. I don’t mind a bit of grease, but a soggy waffle is just not enjoyable. On a positive note, the waffle itself had great flavor; I just wish it had been served separately. Now, onto the highlight of my meal: the biscuits and gravy. As a country boy from West Virginia, I’ve been on the hunt for good sausage gravy since moving to Tampa over four years ago. I can confidently say that Joe's sausage gravy is the best I’ve found. If anyone knows of any other places that serve excellent, hearty sausage gravy, please let me know. Until then, Joe's has definitely won my loyalty for that dish."
