"I recommend the $95/pp weekend brunch buffet if you want quantity, with an emphasis on seafood, and a beautiful 2nd floor view of Rittenhouse Park. We came to the weekend brunch for my mom's birthday. We enjoyed our meal (the seafood and desserts in particular), but nothing wowed us despite the hefty price tag (total came to $365 with automatic 20% gratuity and 8% tax). Everything is a buffet except for the entree, which you order from the server a la carte my partner ordered the lobster, my mom the fish, and I the duck. Duck was cooked well but was way too fatty. The benefit of the buffet is that they serve a LOT of dishes, and there's a whole table dedicated to seafood and desserts. We enjoyed the caviar, lox, and crab legs. The dessert table was also truly impressive with 12+ types of desserts to choose from. But only ~4 5 of them were truly delicious, and the other desserts were quite bland and lacking. Service was attentive and excellent. Ambiance and view were lovely, but the restaurant is extremely narrow, which made navigation through the buffet difficult. The rest of the hotel was honestly quite drab and empty over the holiday, and I was surprised to learn that it has 5 stars. Tip: all non alcoholic drinks are included in the price of the buffet. Alcoholic drinks are extra. Would we go back again? Probably not. $365 is a lot, and we can get higher quality tasty food elsewhere although we wouldn't have such a lovely view, and they may not be as plentiful."

"A disappointing dining experience to say the least. The establishment was completely empty at 5pm. First red flag. Nobody. In the theater district no less on a Thursday night, right before graduation. Ordered the tuna sashimi, Cleveland onion soup and a filet. The tuna wasn't bad, but zero sauce ? no soy, no ponzu. Lots of avocado and fluff. Not bad though. Cleveland onion soup was very tasty. Best item I ordered. For some terrible reason our entrees were served three at a time. We had nine in our party, 9, then after waiting at least 5 minutes, no joke, three more came. Then, again, after waiting five more minutes, the final three came. It took at least 10 minutes from the first entee placed to the final was set. Food was cold by this time. Ridiculous. Our server was completely unfazed serving us this way. More on him later. Then my entree. I ordered my filet medium. When served, by just looking at it, I could tell it was under temp. I sliced it, and it was blue rare. Very cold center. After waiting a couple minutes, we found another server to take my food back for a recook. Everyone was finished eating at this point when my food was returned. Only now it was still rare, was a slightly less cold center. I think it just sat under a heat lamp. I was starving and couldn't wait for a third recook. Ate what I could. The quality of the meat seemed great, unfortunately the chef there clearly could care less about proper temperatures. No manager appearance either...... Our server forgot drink orders, couldn't be found, and auctioned of food at the table. Just couldn't grasp marking a table as to who got what. On the way out, we saw a cook relaxing at the bar, guess he had a rough shift,,,,, it 6:30....... So many choices to dine downtown, this is not one to impress a guest."
