"Saturday Oct. 22nd 2022.I and a group of friends made a 4pm reservation at Peabody Bertuccis. SERVICE WAS SLOW UNINVITING!Sat 10-15 minutes before seeing waitress to order 1st Drinks. 15-20 minutes later Drinks arrive. Waitress disappears. ONLY ONE WAITRESS to handle my group of 16 people. Please note, most tables were empty, so one would think service would have been better. With that said 20 minutes after just a few drinks were delivered, waitress returns to take orders. I was one of the First 3 orders taken. Keep in mind we arrived at 4pm With Reservations . Our orders arrived at the table at 5:15. Oh, EXCEPT THE FIRST THREE ORDERS! Now the waitress finally realizes that three people are not eating . Oh I 'm sorry she said, your orders will just be a couple minutes! 18 minutes later, they finally arrive. You would think she would have apologized and admitted she lost our orders rather than say, your orders will just be a couple minutes . Now that my order arrived, (chicken Picata), the chicken was over cooked , had the consistency of cardboard. The chef most likely doesn 't know how to cook, or microwaved the chicken. It was smothered with capers. The dish was terrible ! Aside from the dinner fiasco the waitress returns and asks if we would like drinks. Of course I was one of 5 drinks (a beer) that she yet again did not bring. Another oversite! When she realized 10 minutes later that she didn 't bring my drink, she said that the bartender was tapping a new keg and It would be just a couple of minutes . Lol.At this point , I said just to forget about it. I would like to point out that the waitress NEVER asked at the beginning if anyone wanted appetizers, never Offered and additional comment about each order weather it came with any choices of a side, if so what choice was preferred etc.., Never returned to ask if everyone 's dinner was OK after served as most waitresses do, Never returned after the meal to ask if anyone wanted desert, coffee or another beverage etc.,Never returned to ask if we were all set and bring our bill for the dinner. She had to be chased down and be asked for it so that we could be on our way.All in all Bertuccis was severely unprepared to serve a group of people with a reservation. I can 't imagine that we would have had such great service if it was busy at the time we arrived. (I 'm being sarcastic here, I hope you realize)Also the waitress was the ONLY person assigned to our table. As our table backed up with empty drink glasses and bottles, the clutter was never removed thru out the duration of out time sitting, there was no bus boy, no extra hands delivering the first 13 of 16 meals,. I honestly can 't understand how this Particular Bertuccis is remaining in business. It clearly does not cater to or appreciate its customers and definitely does not how to properly prepare and cook its food being served. I would not recommend this restaurant even if it was the last and only restaurant on Rt1.Do yourself, your family and friends a good deed and go somewhere else, even if its MacDonalds!I took a picture of my meal that I waited for one and a half hours after arrival.Please take a look. LoL"
