"Crave started out as a promising experience, but quickly turned into a dumpster fire. My first time at Crave is also my last. To start out, Crave is very expensive for what it is. It?s similar to quick-serve at a theme park. You place your order at the counter, and they give you a number. Coffee is a whopping $5.00. Small Lemonade. Same thing. The cashier taking the orders was friendly, and accommodating. That was where I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, with a side of Bacon and a Lemonade. My total came to nearly $30. When I went to pay, I attempted to leave a tip before being informed that the company takes all the credit card tips, leaving nothing for the service staff. I?m sorry, but if I?m paying $30 for a cheap breakfast, the last thing I would want to do is chip in another 20% to the company coffers. The fact they don?t disclose this is shady, and reason enough to make me not want to return, but it gets worse. After waiting nearly 25-minutes for my food, it wasn?t remotely tasty. The waffles were ice cold and stale. The bacon was soggy and wet, and the chicken tenders were unappealing. The food runner with the blue Mohawk has an absolutely vile attitude. She was crass, unhelpful and absolutely useless if you need anything at all, aside from dumping a plate of food onto various tables. Every request I made was met with an unfriendly sigh, followed by a less-than-friendly response, and zero follow-through. I asked for sauce for the tenders, which never came. After asking twice, and another ten minutes of waiting, I politely took my plate to the counter and asked for a refund, which was promptly given. The many reviews about the mega-poor service and the highly-overpriced, less-than-tasty food are true. I would avoid Crave, even as a last-option."

"Similar to other recent posts, the head security guy at this venue is unprofessional and could use training in anger management and de-escalation procedures. He was walking behind me and put his hands on my back to push me out of the way, to which I pushed him back. He still did not remove his hands so I shrugged him off again. He then began yelling that I needed to leave the venue, claiming that I pushed him when he came up behind me and instigated it. He then stood way too close to me and kept yelling my face that I needed to leave and I kept calmly repeating that there is is no justification for me to leave, he shouldn't have touched me, and he can just walk away from me and there will be no problem here anymore. I refused to walk out and he left to go get a woman security guard. She came over an initially would not listen to me either, and said we don't need to discuss the incident we can just watch the tape (I would love to see that tape, by the way). I said please go ahead and watch it. The main security kept standing there yelling and trying to justify himself to my friends. After another minute or so, he let it go and everyone left. It was such a ridiculously unnecessary sequence of events.I will give a shout out to a different man security guard who was there, who reported to the guy that caused the issue and so was not in charge himself. He was a witness to what happened and kept apologizing to me saying that he wished he could do something and that he felt terribly this was happening. I really appreciated that. The other guy could learn a lesson from him."

"Have been wanting to try Delices De Maurice for a while but hadn 't gotten around to it. finally decided to go with my mom (who had been for pastries before), and was surprisingly let down. I really wanted to love it (and thought that I would) but everything I had was pretty flavorless. Also, it was severely overpriced for what we received. The egg croissant with bacon was $13.50 and they were going to charge $3 when I asked for a single slice of swiss cheese to be added (which I did not end up doing). It 's absolutely their right to charge what they want, but I don 't think I 'll go for anything but a pastry in the future.I got the egg croissant, which comes with scrambled egg on a wheat croissant, bacon, maple syrup, seasoned tomatoes, and avocado slices. Maybe it was just an off day, but i took a bite of the egg on the croissant and didn 't taste much of anything. The croissant was super dense and didn 't taste like their was any butter in it. It was also pretty crisp on the top almost burnt really. I don 't think the egg patty even had salt and pepper it may have just been egg, and the avocado was not ripe at all, so we didn 't eat it. The saving grace was the crispy bacon and the maple syrup that I dipped the croissant with egg in so that I tasted something. We also ordered vanilla lattes and had a similar experience. At first, I thought they forgot the vanilla, but then I noticed a very subtle sweetness. I think we each got maybe half a pump for 75 cents.Overall, I hate to leave a pretty negative review, and I really am not usually a picky person. I just expected some flavor for a $55 light breakfast with coffees. My mom does attest for their pastries, so maybe I 'll go back for one of those and see if it is a different experience."
