"The bagels at Ridge Bagel were quite good. We had to stop by this place last minute when our usual spot was closed. It was around 11 in the morning on a Sunday, and while there wasn't a wide variety to choose from and some flavors were already sold out, we were able to get a fresh assortment of delicious bagels."

"I was a bit hesitant when I first walked into this pizzeria based on its appearance. However, my husband convinced me to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, which was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The food was so good that we found ourselves wanting more. Despite being the only person working, the guy prepared our food quickly. If you're in the mood for pizza and hungry, definitely give Gar's a try. You won't be disappointed. "Tried to stop in this morning to pick up a dessert for my Rabbi nephew and his family. They made my wife stand outside because the counter person was in the middle of an order. There was an owner? and another employee there. They did not let my wife in and when she asked about desserts they said what do you want she did not know and wanted to see some. Someone brought her a few to look at while she stayed outside. What a joke! This place is only open because they are Kosher an observant -people put up with it otherwise they would have been gone years ago!"

"This restaurant offers the best pastrami, corned beef, and noodle pudding in the county. Their mushroom knishes are absolutely perfect, and the chopped liver is flawless. The seven-layer cake is excellent, and the cherry chocolate-covered marshmallow twists are delicious. They also make the best chicken and tuna salad around. The quality of food here is outstanding, reminiscent of Katz's Deli in Rockland. Shawna, who works at the restaurant, treats every customer like family. Her service is greatly appreciated, and she always prepares the most delicious hot dog on a bun for me. It's a must-try experience!"

"My mother brought me a shawarma from this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no place near me where I can get a shawarma, so I was excited to try it. She requested a small cup of hummus on the side, instead of inside the pita, so I could reheat the food when it arrived. However, they refused to accommodate this simple request. This lack of customer service was disappointing. If they could put the hummus in the sandwich, why was it so difficult to provide a small cup of hummus on the side?"

"On my first day in New York, after exploring Manhattan for almost 4-5 hours, I decided to try the famous New York pizza. Based on reviews, I chose Patzeria and it definitely lived up to its reputation. As I was alone, I ordered a slice of Margherita and Grandma pizza. Every bite of the two pizzas was absolutely delicious. The sausage was perfectly mixed with the crust, giving it a marinated flavor with a hint of crunch. There was a cozy outdoor seating area where I could relax and savor the flavors of the evening. The total cost of both pizzas and a beer came to $17, which was well worth it. Would definitely recommend trying Patzeria if you're a pizza lover."

"I encountered two ladies working at the serving window, and one of them, who had blonde highlights, came to take my breakfast order. I noticed that before she grabbed my bread from a tray beneath the counter, she scratched her head and then proceeded to handle the bread without wearing gloves. I find this quite unclean and, frankly, disgusting. To the owner of this location, I strongly urge you to provide proper training for your staff on hygiene practices when serving customers."

"I’ve dined at Restaurant Calabria several times, and each visit has been delightful. The ambiance is lovely, with a decent bar and a spacious dining area that boasts great lighting. Throughout my previous visits, I've consistently ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which never fails to impress with its delicious flavor. For New Year's 2020, we opted for takeout, and I was pleased to find that our order was flawless—something I can’t say about many restaurants in 2020! To start, my family ordered the Zucchini appetizer, which was quite tasty, especially with the marinara sauce that paired beautifully with it. The bread was exceptionally fresh and tasty, particularly when dipped in the marinara. Since 2021 is a new year (and a new me!), I decided to try something different. As a big fan of meatballs, I went for the Meatball Casserole. It was fantastic, with generous portions! My only minor complaint was the cheese on top—it was a bit overwhelming, so I removed some. I think this dish would have been even better eaten in-house, as many meals are more enjoyable when they’re piping hot. The pasta was cooked perfectly, with an incredible marinara sauce that had a nice sweetness and a little kick. The three meatballs were sizable and packed with flavor. I truly enjoyed this meal and found myself wishing I could have had a second one! To wrap up our meal, my sister ordered Cannoli for dessert. I only had a small taste, but I’m glad I did. It had a wonderful crispness and just the right amount of sweetness, with what I think was a hint of cinnamon. This made for a lovely meal to close out 2020 and welcome in 2021! I highly recommend trying Restaurant Calabria in 2021!"
