"I've been here twice. The first time I had rotisserie half chicken and it was great. My recent visit, a friend ordered a chicken sandwich with egg on top and I ordered one without the egg. They mixed our orders up. Was not a fan of the pulled chicken sandwich, had way too much going on. Stick to the fried chicken sandwiches, burgers or the rotisserie chicken. "As I entered I was pleasantly greeted by a very nice employee. I was interested in a sandwich and asked for a recommendation. Her favorite was the cheesesteak. I love a good cheesesteak. I ordered this sandwich to go. As I began eating I became more and more disappointed, primarily due to the meat. Instead of it being thin shaved and easy to eat it was inch and a half long rectangles of chewy fatty steak strips. It got to the point after a few bites I decided it made more sense to throw out the sandwich and go somewhere else. In my opinion in order for a restaurant to be great, they need to master three things 1. Food quality 2. Service 3. Taste/presentation Food quality was a zero! I?m pretty certain that steak was frozen and bought pre-cooked and cut. Why would you do this? If you can?t prepare a tasty fresh item don?t have it on the menu. My review is for this one sandwich and one experience. It?s quite possible that their other items are of a higher quality. If they end up offering a better version of this sandwich I would be happy to try again and update this review . In the meantime I would avoid this place there are many other delicious similar priced lunches. Knotty barrel has a filet mignon sandwich that is delicious."
