"La Vie Lebanese restaurant in Pompano Beach (281 S. Pompano Parkway, but the address is confusing because it is at the corner of a long strip plaza at the intersection of Powerline Rd. and N. Course Dr. . I have never been to Lebanon so I am not well versed in the middle-eastern culture except for Greek food. Therefore, I don’t know the authenticity of Lebanese food, but there were a couple of middle-eastern families with women wearing head scarves seated in the restaurant – when country-natives sponsor one of their restaurants, that is usually a sign that the establishment serves close to authentic down home cooking of that country. With my ignorance to Lebanese gastronomy, I’m sharing my humble experience based on what my party ate at La vie last Sunday night. In short, we loved most everything and were impressively delighted by the flavors that were elevated by a cumin spice dominance. The inside atmosphere did not project that of The Arabian Nights, but our server said that they do have an exotic veil dancer that performs on certain nights… Sunday night was not one of those nights. The vaulted ceiling of the restaurant looked more to me like an island hut, but the beautiful massive hanging lamps give it what I believe it to be a middle-eastern flair. Our party of 4 regulars do pick at each other’s meals all the time to experience as much as we could wherever we go. The service was outstanding. Upon being seated, our server introduced himself, took our drinks order, and a lady dropped a plate of complimentary seasoned chips and hummus. A few minutes later, we ordered the Mezza Veggie Supreme sample platter made of hummus, tabouleh, baba ghannouj, falafel, and grape leaves along with a basket full of hot air-puffed pita pockets (most delicious which was served about 10 min later with our drinks (perfect . Our entrees came about 10 minutes after we finished the Mezza plate (great timing . Entrees were: Lamb Meatball Tangine, Chicken Kabob, Lamb Tangine, and I ordered the Mixed Grill (a sampler of kabobs: filet minion, chicken, kefta, and mixed vegs. We all agreed that everything was excellent, flavorful, and plentiful except for the chicken which was dry (maybe it was just that night . Another annoying quirk (and a personal peeve of mine is that our Mezza platter had 3 grape leaves and 3 Baba Ghannouj and we were 4 people. This should be a policy of all restaurants for servers to explain that a sampler platter or other appetizers come with a minimum of 2 or countable items. The server should acknowledge the number of people in the party and suggests to add more to equal the party atvan additional cost. Lastly, one dinner plate was chipped (not that was the end of the world. We did not bring it to our server’s attention, but that should have been noticed by the chef or the server before sending the order out . C’est la Bonne Vie, but not quite La Vie En Rose. I give a 4 stars because it was surprisingly a great experience. Will I go back? Surely."

"food was decent at best, service was not at all diligent. we had a photographer with us for a friend's birthday dinner and the wait staff left every empty cup and plate on the table. we actually put all the empty cups and plates on one side of the table so we could take pictures, and the wait staff still didn't move it all. that was ridiculous, especially for the price."

"We went for breakfast (9:30am) on Mother's Day and it was a lovely experience. The service was attentive and fast. The food was prepared and delivered quickly and they took great care to accommodate our 21 month old daughter. My wife had the breakfast burrito and real liked it and I had an egg white veggie omelette with a side of bacon. All the dishes come with potatoes and a piece of bread. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back again."

"My wife and I were looking for a nice restaurant for a quiet dinner, with outdoor seats. We had heard about a friend of Mylo's Grill and decided to check it. We were not disappointed! Firstly, do not think that because it is in a shopping center that it is low quality quick food. It is absolutely pleasing. You have a great menu with many options, and we went with the Calamari, lamb cabob, fries with garlic and served with feta cheese (not on the menu (still) so you need to ask), and a bottle of a French Bordeaux. We've finished with Greek coffee and baklava. The food was amazing, and much to our pleasure, the service was just as wonderful as the meal. The young man who was our waiter has done an amazing job, and there are few places where you can find such a good service. If you either have a great meal or a romantic meal, Mylo's should be at the top of your list. With COVID, which have such a financial impact on hospitality, take the time to get out and support a great restaurant that could make it through the pandemic."

"I made a reservation for Underhill Cafe a week in advance BUT, the same day of my reservation, they texted me to tell me that they didn 't have space for me, that they had left the OpenTable app open accidentally, and that I could walk in, but they couldn 't promise anything. I wish they had told me this at any point during the entire week beforehand OR had made even a cursory attempt to accommodate my party of 4. Anything!"

"Not enthused about this restaurant. “Police Week” (a huge conference) was beginning at the hotel (where the restaurant is located) both the hotel lobby and the restaurant we’re packed with police their families and kids. Extremely loud environment. The selections at the buffet were minimal and the what I had at the buffet was bland. I’d say it was fair at best. My daughter had the Baked Mac Cheese appetizer, which was huge and well cooked, but it wasn’t actually baked, so it wasn’t crispy on top. My mother’s fish chips looked good, and she liked it, but she and I don’t tend to agree on the foods we like. My husband’s pasta was pretty good to him. I didn’t taste it. The wait staff was polite and enthusiastic actually a little more enthusiastic than I like. I was there to celebrate Mother’s Day with my family, not engage with the staff. My husband dropped the family off at the entrance and embarked on a confusing adventure to find a parking spot. It took him almost 15 min and he had to pay $15. The restaurant did validate his ticket, but the process was not simple or customer friendly. Will not return in the future."

"Food was good. Not great, not terrible, but good. Service was extremely slow. Waited 40mins between ordering dessert and receiving it. The server was casually chatting with another table for about 10min straight as we tried to get their attention. After eating dessert and waiting another 20mins, had to go inside to get someone and ask for the check as no one was coming around. Ambiance was nice but to be honest there are better Greek/Seafood spots in the area."

"This is my favorite spot in Astoria! The food and drinks are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. I absolutely love the Mimosa Coffee Brunch Special. Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by and were very pleased with our server (I can't remember her name, but she mentioned she's Russian; we chatted about Tolstoy), who was both efficient and charming! Overall, a wonderful place to dine."

"I came here by car on a Sunday evening in late June 2022. Reservations were really easy because we called a couple hours beforehand on the same day and they had availabilities. They texted us and told us we could park for free across the street at the C&N Bank parking lot. It was a really warm summer night and we asked to sit outside. We were seated right by the bushes. The only downside was that there were a lot of bugs flying around and a couple landed on our plates. The food and service, however, was really good. They gave us a complementary gazpacho, flavored popcorn, and a chocolate sorbet for dessert. That last one, the waitress treated us to it because she said she wanted us to try it. We ordered the Tuna Crudo which could have used some acidity. The Kale Salad was very good. The Blackened Green Beans were also very good. It was candied with a hint of spice. The Crab Cakes were also very good but I could have done without it. The Foi Gras Sliders were terrific. The pear gave it the perfect crunch. We also got the Spare Ribs which I was too full to have but it tasted great when reheated the next day. We both got the Pomegranate Gingerale which was also very good. I would highly recommend this place if you're ever in Doylestown. I hear people drive all the way from Philly for their Chocolate Sorbet."

"I've been to great greek food restaurants and had great greek food. This is not one of them. I realize there is a distinct difference between fast food and home made but in either case overcooked and burnt food is NOT acceptable. As always, I believe in second chances. Maybe the cook was having a bad day (who doesn't). Maybe it was luck of the draw..idk second time around will tell.Service is what is expected of a quasi fast food /sit down restaurantOne thing is certain, know what you want PRIOR to ordering to avoid awkward hold up and ordering. On the bright side (because everything has a positive) the cucumber water was great! As was the baklava!! ?Cost is a bit inflated. Two plates, two drinks, and a pastry...$53 NoPozWow (lunch time)Place is clean and friendly. Ample parking...Enjoy!"

"I really wish I could give more than 5 stars for all of the categories! This place is awesome! My wife and I went here for our first anniversary and not only was the food stellar but our server, Francesca made us feel warm and welcome, she had the perfect balance of leaving us our privacy but also interacting and being personable. And I gotta day again, the food is amazing, everything I put in my mouth was fantastic, 100% will be back, and you should %100 percent go here, you won't be disappointedParking: Not much that I saw for parking right next to the restaurant l, but about 2 blocks away was a paid parking lot, 5$ for 5 hours"

"An exceptional dining experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive and very friendly. We ordered a fish dish that was simply delicious, cooked to perfection, with a fresh flavor that left us delighted. The grape leaves were another great choice, full of authentic Greek flavor. The lemon potatoes were a delightful surprise, perfectly seasoned with a citrusy touch that made them irresistible. We also tried the giant beans, which were spectacular—tender and full of flavor. Everything we tried was wonderful, light, and healthy. I would highly recommend this place for either lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!"

"I was expecting an all around great dining experience from the Westin’s White Bark, one of Mammoth’s newest and finest hotels. Menu options were limited and most of the table went for the Wagu short rib dinner…so dry it was embarrassing. I asked for a burger since the menu didn’t offer one…the waiter said those are only available in the bar. Then while watching the neighboring table receive a chicken burger I asked the waiter what gave ? and he said it’s not allowed but some servers let it slide! As well the waiters attitude was less than accommodating which didn’t help. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied and will not return. Terrible experience for myself (a returning customer) and my clients first visit to Mammoth. Get it right Whitebark…deliver what your clientele want…a burger from the main restaurant and charge double from what you charge at the Bar, just garnish it better!"

"I can't express how wonderful our experience was! The food was absolutely outstanding! We effortlessly snagged a table right by the window, offering a fantastic view of the city. The service was excellent, and the drinks surpassed our expectations! We shared the pork belly, mushrooms, and short rib flatbread, all of which were delicious! I enjoyed the specialty peach tequila cocktail, followed by an equally delightful espresso martini. I would highly recommend this restaurant!"
