"We saw great reviews so tried this Greek restaurant… we were the first customers in, greeted by the owner who introduced us to the Chef!!! We enjoyed cold water and amazing pita and the “Lio” Tzatziki and red sauce, and a rich, full Merlot from Crete. We enjoyed talking with the owner so much and discovered a brother of his is an a colleague of my husband from Kentucky! We enjoyed the spinach pie and the bean soup, licking the bowl !!! Then we felt like royals devouring the baklava, but then we were so surprised at the addition of the home made Greek yogurt with honey and the chocolate cake!! We feel so blessed, and content!! Thank you, Luis, for a surprising wonderful afternoon , and a treat for all of our senses!!!"

Website says that they close at 10, but be aware that last seating is a 9pm. Kitchen closes at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20 and was turned away, even though the kitchen was still open. Very disappointed. I wish the website was more clear.

Our family of five enjoyed a delicious dinner. The food was flavorful and fresh. Staff were welcoming, attentive, friendly and great at their jobs. Nearly everyone dining were speaking Greek. So, if you’re looking for Greek food that’s the real deal, this is the place.

Had an amazing evening here. Everything was better than perfection. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Maria Lou know how to create a fabulous meal and everything is cooked with the health conscience in mind. If you like Octopus… the appetizer was tender and one of the best. View menu

Hands down the best meals of my life. The Branzino is to die for. Came here twice on my trip to NYC and can’t wait to come back on my next trip! I would live in this restaurant if I could!! Chef Maria is a gem, she even sat down with us and recommended her favorite restaurants in Greece for me! Thank you Chef Maria and staff!!

An exceptional dining experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive and very friendly. We ordered a fish dish that was simply delicious, cooked to perfection, with a fresh flavor that left us delighted. The grape leaves were another great choice, full of authentic Greek flavor. The lemon potatoes were a delightful surprise, perfectly seasoned with a citrusy touch that made them irresistible. We also tried the giant beans, which were spectacular—tender and full of flavor. Everything we tried was wonderful, light, and healthy. I would highly recommend this place for either lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
