"Upon entering, the restaurant had a delightful ambiance. It seemed like a converted home with charming furniture and decor. Our table had a peaceful view of the fields outside the window. The service was excellent, with the waitress patiently answering all of our menu questions. We ordered the walleye bites, tempeh udon bowl, and chicken and waffle. The walleye bites were outstanding - I could have eaten five of them! The fresh flavor and light, delicate breading, paired perfectly with the homemade tartar sauce. The tempeh in the udon bowl was good, but the sauce was a bit overpowering. The rosemary and prosciutto chicken and waffle was a unique and lovely combination. The waffle had a perfect texture, with just the right hint of rosemary. The chicken was light, crisp, and well-seasoned. My only complaint was the prosciutto, which tasted a bit burnt. I would have preferred it laid fresh on the waffle. I also wish they used real maple syrup instead of the artificial kind. Overall, I would return for the walleye bites and ambiance, but would try a different dish next time."
